    I stayed for one night on business. Thank you for upgrading me to a larger Room—I was able to relax in the bathtub and was very satisfied! I will stay again.

    I have stayed here many times. The other day at check-in, I was with a guest from overseas. The staff informed them that they could see Himeji Castle from their Room, and they were very happy, saying, “Thank you, wonderful.” It was truly excellent hospitality, and it made me feel good as well.

    Good Hotel

    I stayed for two nights on business. Both the Facility and the Room were clean, and the amenities were more than sufficient. There are three elevators, so you hardly ever have to wait (however, perhaps for security reasons, they always stop on the 2nd floor where the front desk is located). Maybe because of the quality of the bed, I slept very well. The desk was spacious and made it easy to work. I also appreciated having a trouser press in the Room. There are many unique restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I had no trouble finding what I needed. Breakfast was basically the same on both mornings, but there were small changes—such as multi-grain rice (if I remember correctly) being replaced with conger eel rice—so it didn’t feel repetitive. Even small changes are nice. My impression is that Daiwa Roynet hotels can be in slightly inconvenient locations, but this one wasn’t at all—the location is great. Highly recommended.

    This time, there was...

    This time, there was a spider on the bed. It didn’t look like the kind you usually see in Japan... It was small, so it may have been hard to spot during cleaning, but it was disappointing. I kept checking to see if there were more, and I couldn’t sleep well.

    What exactly is the D Members-Only Plan?

    I booked a Diamond Member–exclusive Plan more than a month in advance, but when I checked the price on the day of my stay, it was 8,000 yen cheaper. I confirmed with both the Hotel and IKYU, and was told that the Hotel uses dynamic pricing and does not guarantee the lowest rate. I was also told that being a Diamond Member does not necessarily come with any special benefits. I have used IKYU for many years, and this experience taught me that a Diamond Member–exclusive Plan does not always offer an advantage. I had several other Hotels booked as well, but after comparing with official websites, I found cases where IKYU was significantly more expensive, so I canceled and rebooked directly through the official sites. About breakfast: The rice did not seem freshly cooked, which was disappointing. Some of the side dishes were overly salty, and overall it did not meet my expectations. Since breakfast strongly affects one’s impression of an Accommodation, I hope you will make further improvements.

    Nice.

    Check-in was fairly smooth, though the staff member at the front desk seemed a bit nervous, and some parts were a little hard to understand. However, they did their best to explain everything through to the end, so things went smoothly overall. The Room was very clean and comfortable. The view was great as Himeji Castle was right in front of us. It was spacious enough for two adults. Amenities were minimal but sufficient. It would have been even better if there had been a small bench or shelf in the bathroom to place clothes on. We also had breakfast. It was buffet-style and we ate until we were full—everything was very delicious. The space between tables was narrow, so we had to be a bit mindful when people were passing by. On the plus side, staff cleared empty plates quickly, which helped keep our table spacious. Check-out was also very smooth. Overall, everything felt very clean and we had a comfortable stay. The location is right by the station, making it easy to visit Himeji Castle and go out for meals anywhere, and we enjoyed exploring around the Hotel as well. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Himeji.

    Beautiful Hotel

    A compact and clean Hotel. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and I was impressed by the thoughtful placement of the toilet. However, I wish there had been a stool and washbasin in the bathroom!

    I am very satisfied.

    The Room had a separate bath and toilet, which I really liked. I stayed in a twin room this time, and it was very spacious. The sofa and table were arranged in a way that made it easy to watch TV, and when I opened the curtains, I could see Himeji Castle from the room. It was truly satisfying. Next time, I hope to relax even more leisurely.

    Himeji Sightseeing

    We chose this Hotel for a trip to Himeji with my elderly mother because it is close to the station, offers a view of Himeji Castle from the Room, and has separate bath and toilet facilities. Both dinner and breakfast were convenient as there were restaurants nearby that we wanted to visit. The next day, we appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the Hotel, allowing us to explore Himeji Castle, Kokoen Garden, and the museum comfortably. If I may suggest one improvement, having a chair in the bathroom would be helpful.

    The cleaning was thorough, and I had a very comfortable stay. As with many recent Hotels, the windows do not open. The hairdryer was Panasonic and powerful. Thank you very much.

    My wife posted this review. We chose this accommodation because we had a good experience at the same hotel in another prefecture several times. The female staff member at check-in was smooth and pleasant, and her polite gesture of placing her hand under the room key when handing it over left a good impression. We were delighted to have our request fulfilled and enjoyed the view of the illuminated Himeji Castle. The room was clean and comfortable, but for two people, one had to sit on either the massage chair or bed, and since the double bed was placed against the wall, I had to carefully move towards the foot of the bed to get out during the night, which was inconvenient. The amenities provided on the front desk floor are minimal; while there are several drink options available, there are no cosmetics like cleansing products, so you need to bring your own. Due to rainy weather, we changed our plans and had breakfast at an izakaya on the first floor. However, when we arrived thinking it opened at 6:30 AM as stated, a group had already come early making it hectic to get food; checking crowd conditions beforehand would have been better. There were plenty of food and drink options available though they were delicious. I would like to stay here again when visiting Himeji!

    The view was great, but unfortunately, Himeji Castle was not visible.

    This was my first time using this accommodation while visiting Himeji Castle with a friend. I chose a Hollywood Twin Room, thinking my friend would be pleased, but unfortunately, the castle was on the opposite side and not visible from our room. The room had a long hallway from the entrance that turned midway. The safe could not be used as its drawer wouldn’t open properly, so I had to carry a heavy backpack even when dining at the restaurant or going for walks outside. Additionally, I couldn’t close the stopper in the washbasin bowl, which was inconvenient as I use contact lenses. When we went to the restaurant on the first floor for dinner, it was fully booked (we hadn’t made a reservation). It would have been even better if hair caps were provided for women. The bath was spacious and comfortable. After arriving at 2 PM, they kindly stored our luggage until check-in in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. However, it’s disappointing that we couldn’t see Himeji Castle from our room this time around.

    Octopus

    The bathtub and shower were separate, making them convenient to use. Amenities are provided on a bring-your-own basis; having bath salts would have been a nice addition.

    A spacious and comfortable Room conveniently located near the station.

    I stayed here during a business trip. Despite the risk of schedule changes, the cancellation policy was reasonable, and having had a good impression when I stayed shortly after its opening, I decided to stay again this time. During the hot season, you can access the accommodation through an arcade in the shopping street, which helps conserve energy. The room was upgraded to a spacious twin room and was very comfortable. From the room, I could see Himeji Castle. The bathroom had a bathtub that was neither too deep nor too shallow—just right—and there was also a separate washing area, which is perfect for someone like me who dislikes showers in bathtubs. The hotel has both a café and a dining venue offering tempura and seasonal dishes; I chose the latter for dinner. The set menu cost around 3,500 yen and was reasonably priced with spacious tables in a calm atmosphere where even solo diners can enjoy their meal at ease. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I would definitely stay here again on my next business trip to Himeji!

    A Hotel where you can relax at your own pace.

    This is my third stay at Daiwa Roynet, following Hiroshima and Nagoya. The Room was well-equipped with everything needed and very comfortable to move around in. The bathroom was separate, allowing for a relaxing bath experience, which was fantastic. The front desk staff were all very pleasant and made me feel at ease. I appreciated the thoughtful attention to the Room as well. Breakfast was delicious; however, the tables were quite close to each other, which made me a bit conscious of my surroundings. A little more space between tables would have allowed for a more relaxed dining experience. I look forward to staying again when I visit Himeji!

    Family Trip

    We stayed as a family, including small children. Unfortunately, the parking lot was full since we checked in later in the evening. At check-in, we were asked to fill out our address and name again. It would have been helpful if the information provided during the Reservation was shared to save time. We rented a baby crib, but it was disappointing to see some damage on it. The Room had a great view of Himeji Castle, and the scenery was wonderful. The room cleaning was thorough as well. Despite staying during a holiday period, breakfast wasn't too crowded, and the staff's service was excellent. Thank you very much!

    I had a very comfortable stay! It's close to the station, yet noise was not an issue, allowing me to relax. Highly recommended Hotel when visiting Himeji!

    Very satisfied.

    Located just a few minutes' walk from Sanyo and JR Himeji Station, and within 10 minutes to the castle, the convenience is excellent. You can enjoy views of Himeji Castle from the guest rooms. The newly renovated rooms and lobby are clean and modern. The bathroom amenities are sufficient, and the air conditioning works well. For a hotel in this class, the beds and bedding are of high quality. A massage chair is available, which is appreciated; however, a detailed instruction manual would be helpful. On the first floor, there’s a reasonably priced restaurant serving freshly fried tempura—highly recommended! This space also serves as the breakfast buffet venue in the morning with plenty of variety—also highly recommended!

    One-box cars cannot be parked.

    The deciding factors for choosing this Hotel were the separate bathroom and toilet in the Room, availability of parking, and many restaurants nearby—all of which were perfect. Since I’m not a fan of unit baths, I was able to relax comfortably. The Room was on the Himeji Castle side as I had researched beforehand, offering a fantastic view. The castle's night illumination could also be seen from the Room. Amenities are available to pick up from the first floor. The parking includes seven flat spaces and a multi-story structure. Although I wanted to park on a flat space, it was full, so reluctantly parked my valuable car in the multi-story lot. As shown in photos, large vehicles like Alphard vans cannot fit into the multi-story parking structure. Parking Reservation is not available; it’s on a first-come-first-served basis. There are many restaurants around, especially izakayas (Japanese pubs). The sashimi and hot pot at "Uo○○" were exceptional—highly recommended but requires Reservation due to its popularity. The Japanese restaurant on the Hotel's first floor also looked very appealing. Check-in required filling out your name and address at reception—a rare practice these days—but check-out can be done via machine. Although I didn’t visit Himeji Castle itself (I walked nearby for another purpose), it seems about 15 minutes away on foot. Looking forward to staying again!

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay and did not experience any inconvenience. The room, including the bathroom, was clean. The coin laundry's operating status could be checked on the TV screen in my room, making it easy to plan.

    This is not my first...

    This is not my first time using the service, but this time I was disappointed to find used towels from the previous day rolled up and left wet in the towel rack. There was also no plastic bag for laundry.

    Clean and cost-effective Hotel

    We stayed as a couple. It is close to Himeji Station and within walking distance to Himeji Castle, making it a very convenient Hotel. The Hotel itself is new, so it was very clean, and the room layout was well thought out and very user-friendly. Although it is a Business Hotel, the toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bathroom features a stylish bathtub and a shower from the ceiling, which was very comfortable. The service at the front desk during check-in was a bit difficult to understand due to the fast explanation, which is why I rated "Service" as "3". However, it was not bad at all. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Himeji.

    I stayed for two nights this time. The Room is spacious and clean, and the bathroom has a washing area and a bathtub where you can soak in hot water, making it an excellent Room. The location is also close to the station, with many dining and shopping options nearby, which was great. It's in a good location and even has parking, so it's a perfect score of 5 out of 5. I would like to use it again when I visit Himeji.

    Safety and Stability

    I think this is my second time using "Daiwa Roynet". Previously, I stayed near Kannai Station in Yokohama and had a good impression. Therefore, I wanted to use your Hotel if it was available at my travel destination. I used it again this time. As with the previous good impression, the Room is spacious, clean, and the bathtub and toilet are separated, making it easy to use. The breakfast buffet is good. I felt reassured by these points. It was indeed the case. It is stable. It is one of the recommended Hotels.

    We have been upgraded.

    I was pleased to be upgraded to a Deluxe Twin with a direct view of Himeji Castle, as there was availability despite having booked a Standard Twin. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had sufficient water pressure. Towels were prepared in abundance as requested in advance, making my business trip very comfortable. The only disappointment was finding short hair near the bedside outlet, but otherwise, the cleanliness was excellent, and I would like to stay at this hotel again when visiting Himeji.
