    Parking

    A parking lot that only accepts cash. When I asked at the front desk whether I could pay cashless, they refused in an annoyed manner. When I explained the situation to another staff member and asked again, they agreed immediately and helped me. The staff member who helped was younger. A Hotel with a senior staff member who acts arrogant.

    The biggest advantage is the convenient location near the station, and the Room is very clean.

    An excellent location where you can enter the Hotel with hardly getting wet even in the rain. There is a taxi stand right in front, and even on weekdays there were usually one or two taxis waiting. The Room was clean, the TV was large, and screen mirroring (casting?) was available. It’s also convenient because you can check how crowded the bath and restaurant are (the women’s bath has only three washing stations, so this really matters). As with other APA Hotels I’ve stayed at, voices in the hallway and the sound of doors opening/closing carry quite a bit, so light sleepers may want to take precautions. I added breakfast later because Google Reviews were good, but it was a bit disappointing. The tonjiru does have plenty of ingredients—so much that the ladle can stand up on its own—but perhaps it was just that day; I could taste some bitterness from the daikon. The pickles were like something you’d find at a supermarket, and the small side dishes and grilled salmon were very ordinary… I expected too much. The salad dressings came in three types and were tasty. Since there aren’t many restaurants nearby, I had dinner here as well. Their unusual sake lees ramen had just the right flavor—not too strong—and was delicious. I might come back for this. Ever since discovering how good “kanzuri” + ramen is at a certain place in Kojimachi, I’ve been convinced kanzuri always goes well with ramen—so I wanted to try it here too!

    The public bath was excellent!

    The staff at the Hotel were very attentive, the Hotel was clean, and the large public bath was especially excellent! I would love to stay again!

    Ideal for solo travelers.

    The Room, bathhouse, and restaurant are all small, but it's convenient to check the congestion status on TV and enjoy movies. Parking costs 500 yen since it's near the station. The view from the top 10th floor was excellent. There is only one elevator, so you might have to wait longer on busy days.

    Second time!

    This was my second stay at APA! I visited during my motorcycle trip around Japan. The quiet scenery near the station was something I really liked. Was that the Northern Alps I saw in the distance? The sunrise was beautiful! I stayed here before heading to Sado and even read the book by the president in the Room—it was quite interesting! I hope to visit again someday if I get the chance. Thank you very much!
