    There were a large n...

    There were a large number of foreigners at the Hotel entrance, which made it feel unsafe. It didn’t seem like temporary crowding for check-in or a tour group; they appeared to be lingering around the entrance. I had made my Reservation quite early, but my Room was near the elevator on the 3rd floor, and it was noisy at night.

    Thank you very much.

    I wanted a non-smoking Room, but none were available at the time of Reservation. Since my wife is sensitive to the smell of cigarettes, I emailed to confirm, and received a prompt and courteous reply, which allowed us to head to the Hotel with peace of mind. On the day, our Room was changed to a non-smoking Room, and we were also able to relax in the large public bath and recover from our trip. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    Although I mentioned...

    Although I mentioned it at the time of my Reservation, when I left my luggage well before check-in, the staff handled it kindly and courteously without showing any displeasure. There was also a self-service luggage storage area after check-out, which was very convenient. When I had an issue with my key card, they responded quickly as well—many thanks to all the staff. One small point: because the large public bath is quite compact, there were waits for washing stations, changing space, and hair dryers. The bath itself was very pleasant, so it felt like a shame. There was also no drinking water available there, so I wish I had brought some from my Room.

    Staying again after a long time

    It’s very convenient, as it’s close to Asakusabashi Station and surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and banks.

    This is my regular Accommodation in Tokyo.

    Conveniently located with courteous service, a large public bath, and spacious Rooms. Coffee service is available. Even elderly guests can enjoy a relaxing stay. I like it so much that, honestly, I’d rather not recommend it to anyone else.

    Convenient bus access.

    When I visit Asakusa, I stay at this Accommodation. I usually stay on weekends, so my options are a bit limited, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby, which is very convenient. I was able to watch WOWOW, and it was great because a program I wanted to see was airing during my stay. I did not use the large public bath, so I rated it 3 stars. As with dining options, I would appreciate it if there were a way to indicate “not used” so that guests cannot rate facilities they did not use. I also did not use breakfast because if I’m getting ready in the morning, I prefer having breakfast at a local café. I usually get there via the Asakusa Line, but on the way back I take the bus. Next time, I want to remember to take the bus on the way there as well (date not decided yet).

    I’m a repeat guest and often stay at this favorite Hotel. Unfortunately, it’s sometimes fully booked and hard to reserve. One of the things I enjoy is being able to relax in the large public bath.

    Stayed again in November. Visited the nearby Chinese restaurant, Suishinsai-kan, recommended in the review reply. The ankake yakisoba was excellent. Comfortable stay including the bath; my go-to accommodation for Tokyo business trips.

    The bath was surprisingly uncrowded both at night and in the morning, allowing for a relaxing experience. The nearby local Chinese restaurant was also delicious.

    The location is excellent.

    Both JR and Toei Subway are accessible, making it very convenient. Both stations are within a 5-minute walk. There are traditional and famous shops nearby, so finding dinner is not an issue. A convenience store is also close by. I stayed for two nights, and since I skipped room cleaning, I received a beer as a bonus. Breakfast can have lines during peak hours, but the quality is satisfactory. There are two elevators available, but they can get crowded in the morning and evening.

    For use during Tokyo Dome concerts

    Convenient location with easy access to Tokyo Dome. The Room was the most relaxing among all my trips so far. There was a sound of something hitting the wall from the neighboring room, but it wasn't noisy, and I slept well. The front desk service was very kind and helpful. If I had to mention one thing, there were no tissues in the Room, which would have been helpful as I have autumn allergies. Coffee and tea are available at the front desk. I would love to stay at this Hotel again!

    Relax and rejuvenate in the large public bath.

    Conveniently located near the station, with a very delicious soba restaurant next door. The large public bath was perfect for relaxing and refreshing. If I had to mention one thing, the sticky feel of the hangers at Route Inn accommodations was slightly unpleasant. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

    The staff is efficient and attentive.

    I often used the same chain in Toyocho, but this was my first time here. It was easy to find, located along the main street from Asakusabashi Station. There are supermarkets and dining options nearby, making it very convenient. During check-in, I received various explanations, but I would have appreciated information about the welcome drink and newspapers as well. The room had a large TV and a sofa with a desk where I could work comfortably and relax. The public bath was compact but not crowded, so I could enjoy it at my own pace. Breakfast didn’t have an extensive variety of options, but everything tasted delicious. The staff at the breakfast venue were very engaging and cheerful, which gave me energy for the day. The front desk staff provided excellent service; they seemed attentive to guests' needs and offered thoughtful assistance with high-level hospitality. Thank you for promptly responding to my requests during the reservation process. I look forward to visiting again!

    I think it offers great value for money.

    Stayed for two nights to attend an event at the Tokyo International Forum. It’s a short walk from Asakusabashi Station, but the flat path makes it manageable. The hotel is surrounded by many dining options, making it a lively and enjoyable location. Despite rising accommodation costs in Tokyo, the price with breakfast included was very affordable and appreciated. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the cheerful greetings from staff made for a pleasant start to the day. The guest room was satisfactory overall; however, there were issues with insufficient blackout curtains and external noise intrusion. Additionally, my wife was dissatisfied as there was a significant discrepancy between the women’s bath congestion status displayed on TV and reality. I believe business hotels should consider more female-friendly measures in their large baths—such as limiting numbers—to enhance guest satisfaction during their stay, not just at this hotel but across all accommodations. Other than that, considering the price point, it was an adequate stay overall.

    No problem if it's in the 10,000 yen range in Tokyo.

    I prioritize accommodations with large public baths or onsen within the company budget, but during business trips to rural areas, Route Inn often becomes the "last resort." I had never stayed at one in Tokyo before, but this time I chose Asakusabashi because it has a large public bath and was available for a mid-10,000 yen range reservation. It was my first time staying there. The stay included breakfast, but two points caught my attention: 1. A room with almost no window. While the room was spacious enough, it faced a neighboring building wall very closely, making it dark and giving a sense of confinement. Since I like to check into hotels early and relax in the room, this felt quite stifling. 2. The difference between the breakfast photos on their website and reality (laughs). I usually enjoy Route Inn Hotel's breakfast buffets as they often feature local specialties in rural areas. Seeing "steak" featured in their Asakusabashi photos raised my expectations...but there was no steak served during my stay! The meat options were limited to sausages, bacon, and fried chicken as usual—disappointing indeed.

    Enjoy a large Onsen bath in the heart of the city.

    First stay for a business trip, and first time staying at the Grando rank accommodation. The difference from the usual Route Inn is the larger public bath and that meals are not included. The room is not very spacious, but considering this level of accommodation in the city center at this price, it’s quite satisfactory. The staff's service was also excellent. I will use it again.

    The importance of being able to spend time without any troubles

    I hadn't considered the Asakusa area much because it's expensive, but I happened to find a double room for single use available within my desired price range, so I made a reservation. Since it was just one night, I was able to spend my time without any issues. I believe that being able to spend time without any issues is an important aspect of a Business Hotel. As expected, even though it's just a difference of one square meter, the double room allowed me to relax comfortably. The location is easy to understand as well, so I've made a reservation for a single room for my next trip to Tokyo.

    Close to the station with good cost performance.

    It was my first time using this Hotel in a while. Just a 5-minute walk from the station, the area is convenient with many convenience stores, drugstores, and restaurants nearby. The Room was spacious enough for a single stay, and the semi-double bed was comfortable to relax on, though it was a bit disappointing that the pillow didn’t suit me. I also wished there were hangers suitable for hanging suits. The large public bath is a great feature—clean and perfect for relieving fatigue. The breakfast menu offers more variety than expected for the price, and the taste is decent. Personally, I was happy to have apples available in the morning. The greetings from the dining staff were also pleasant. Recently, Hotel prices have risen significantly, making it tough for business travelers, but Route Inn offers better value compared to similar Hotels. I’ve also stayed at their locations in Hyogo and Yamaguchi, and including this Hotel, there are no major drawbacks, making it a reliable choice. Highly recommended Hotel.

    It is a beautiful Hotel.

    It was my first time staying, but the Room was clean and the Facility was well-equipped. The bath was also clean, not crowded, and I was able to relax. It was very convenient as it was close to the station. Although it was only for one night, I was able to relax. I would like to use it again when I stay in Tokyo.

    I took a walk along the Sumida River Terrace in the morning.

    The Sumida River Terrace is a stylishly developed, quiet promenade along the banks of the Sumida River. It is located very close to the Route Inn Grand Tokyo Asakusabashi. On this day, I took a stroll using the time before check-out. Walking while gazing at the Tokyo Skytree. The scenery evokes the atmosphere of Asakusa. Crossing the Kuramae Bridge to walk on the opposite side of the Sumida River Terrace. The boarding area for the Sumida River Cruise also has a charming atmosphere. The Ryogoku Kokugikan is very close. The Sumida River Terrace has a calm atmosphere that is truly wonderful and enjoyable!

    Overall, I am satisfied.

    We stayed as two women. Thanks to the large public bath, it was very helpful not to have to wait for the bath and washroom. The access from the station is good, and the staff's response was also pleasant. I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

    The large public bath, breakfast buffet, and location perfectly met the conditions.

    I had a dinner plan with friends in Ueno and used the property for a pre-stay. It was my first time at a Route Inn series hotel, and it was a good hotel. I searched for a highly-rated business hotel within walking distance to Ueno, with good access from Shinjuku, a large public bath with a fulfilling breakfast, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I was assigned a spacious room on a high floor facing Edo Street, and the view was great, which I appreciated. The location itself was easy to find from Asakusabashi Station, and the surrounding area was very convenient with reasonably priced restaurants and convenience stores. Thank you for your hospitality.
