    It was very good.

    I would like to stay here again next time.

    Close to the station, and when you get off the Tozai Line there is a covered shopping arcade with plenty of restaurants, which was very convenient. The traditional downtown atmosphere was great.

    Great location

    The age of the plumbing and the lack of room cleaning during a Multiple Night Stay seem reasonable for the price. The location was excellent, being close to the station with many shops nearby.

    This is my second st...

    This is my second stay. For Multiple Night Stays during trips, I often use Tokyu Stay hotels because of their convenience. The showerhead, hairdryer, and shampoo provided are from ReFa, and the short walk from the station makes it an excellent choice for me. The biggest advantage is having a washing machine with a dryer and a microwave in the Room. It’s incredibly convenient not to have to bring extra clothes. Additionally, the ReFa showerhead and hairdryer leave my hair smooth, fluffy, and shiny—something you wouldn’t expect at a typical business hotel. However, I believe the building itself might be an older converted apartment complex as there are some areas where the floor feels uneven. In this particular Room during this stay, there was a slight sewage-like smell that I didn’t notice in my previous visit. Despite these minor issues, having ReFa amenities and an in-room washer-dryer outweighs any drawbacks for me. While it may feel like a compact studio apartment by residential standards, as a Hotel Room it feels spacious enough. There’s also a FamilyMart nearby along with a small drugstore open late into the night. The area around Monzen-Nakacho has many great dining options too—I really enjoy staying here and plan to return again!

    Had a comfortable stay!

    Stayed for a live event in Ariake. It was helpful that I could leave my luggage before check-in, and they delivered it to my room. The amenities were well-prepared, and I was thrilled that the shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hairdryer were from ReFa! The room also had a microwave and kettle, making my stay very comfortable. However, the bathtub drainage was poor, with hair clogging it—this was a disappointing point. Other than that, everything else was very clean and felt meticulously maintained! I would love to stay here again!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    It was a 6-night plan with breakfast included. The laundry in the room helped reduce luggage, which was very convenient. The location was great, and the hotel staff provided excellent service, making for a comfortable stay. However, after 6 nights, I got tired of the breakfast, so next time I would prefer a No Meals Included plan.

    Newly renovated and beautifully clean

    I stayed at this accommodation several times about ten years ago. It was my favorite hotel due to its convenient access to central Tokyo and the surrounding shops. Even back then, while the facility felt a bit dated, it was well-maintained, clean, and easy to use thanks to the efforts of the staff. This time, I had a business trip and happened to secure a reservation here for two nights after a long time. The renovated room was very clean and comfortable. It seems they have also adopted eco-friendly practices by eliminating unnecessary elements while offering new services. I think it's wonderful how both staff and guests work together to make this hotel even better. The townscape has remained largely unchanged since my first visit, which brought back many nostalgic memories that I thoroughly enjoyed. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay here again.

    Highly Satisfied

    Amenities are well-equipped. The room was user-friendly and comfortable. The staff were very kind. It was convenient and nice to choose your preferred soup, bread, or rice ball for breakfast and enjoy it in the room.

    Excellent

    I stayed in the annex. The atmosphere leading to the elevator floor had a mini-resort feel, which was lovely. The annex has only four rooms per floor, making it quiet and relaxing. The Room was equipped with a washing machine and microwave, allowing for private use without concern for others, which was great. The Hotel staff were kind and left a positive impression. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again!

    Conveniently located with easy access to transportation.

    Located just steps from the station, surrounded by numerous restaurants, making dining convenient. Situated in the city center, offering excellent accessibility. Would love to stay again!

    Overall satisfied.

    Very convenient location near the station. It was great to try the ReFa shower, shampoo, and hair dryer in the bathroom. There is a convenience store nearby, so I bought breakfast the day before and stored it in the Room's refrigerator. Although I didn't use it this time, having a microwave in the Room seems very convenient. However, I noticed that there was quite a bit of dust accumulated on the door frames of both the Room entrance and bathroom, as well as on the walls. Additionally, although not in areas that come into direct contact with your body, there were visible stains in the toilet area.

    The room is spacious and highly recommended.

    I stayed alone, and the room was spacious and clean. Above all, I was impressed by the abundance of ReFa products. However, I was disappointed that the shower water didn't drain properly and started to accumulate. For breakfast, you could choose from soup, bread, or rice balls and take it back to your room for reheating in the microwave. I took two pieces of bread and soup back to my room, but the soup's taste was a bit off. Other than that, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend it!

    Glad to have used ReFa.

    Many hotels now offer ReFa room plans, but I was pleasantly surprised to find ReFa products available here. Not only the shower head and hair dryer, but even the shampoo and conditioner were from ReFa. Upon further research, I found out that all rooms are equipped with ReFa products. The shampoo and conditioner were excellent, so I plan to purchase the same ones later. As for other amenities, I felt it was good that I brought my usual items with me. The room type I stayed in had a mini kitchen and a drum-type washing machine, along with a bottle of detergent provided. However, ice service was only available next to the front desk, which was inconvenient—I would have appreciated an ice bucket in the room. Breakfast consisted of frozen soups that could be heated in the microwave in your room; since I'm familiar with those soups already, I skipped them this time. Conveniently located nearby are convenience stores and restaurants open from early morning hours. Personally, I bought food from a 24-hour bento chain store and enjoyed it in my room. This hotel is too good for just one night—I’d love to stay longer next time! I will definitely use this accommodation again when visiting Tokyo!

    A satisfying shower in the bathroom

    Recently, due to the inbound effect, Business Hotel prices have been rising, but this time I was able to stay at a very reasonable price and am very satisfied. The room was also extremely user-friendly, and I felt hotel-level hospitality in everything from the bathroom to the linens.

    I have stayed at Tokyu Stay several times because the rooms have a washer-dryer and microwave, but this was my first time at Monzen-Nakacho. I simply chose a room during the reservation process, but it turned out to be spacious with a mini kitchen. Although I didn’t use the mini kitchen, the extra space made it very comfortable. I was surprised to find that the hairdryer, showerhead, and shampoo/conditioner were from ReFa. Usually, business hotel hairdryers are just hot and take forever to dry hair, which can be frustrating... but this made for a stress-free bath experience. I wonder if these amenities are installed in all rooms? Overall, I had a great stay thanks to features like ReFa products; however, I was disappointed that there were no USB ports available in the room—this is something I hope all hotels will consider adding. Also, the refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly; although I didn’t store anything this time, it made me question whether it’s functioning as an actual fridge. The location is excellent—close to a subway exit with easy access to FamilyMart and right behind Tomioka Hachiman Shrine. It was very convenient! While I haven’t decided on one specific Tokyu Stay location in Tokyo yet, I might choose this one more often in the future. Thank you!

    Are stay-type Hotels party-friendly?

    Stayed on April 9, 2025. In the evening, there was a gathering or party in one of the rooms on the same floor, and loud voices in Japanese echoed through the hallway. Fortunately, it ended by 9 PM, which was a relief. Is this kind of occurrence common in stay-type accommodations with kitchens? Also, it was disappointing that even after filling the humidifier with water, the sensor still indicated no water and it couldn't be used. Around 6 AM the next morning, I was awakened by deep drum sounds from what seemed to be Tomioka Hachiman Shrine or somewhere nearby. It was my first time waking up to drum sounds instead of bells. By the way, Room cleaning was impeccable.

    User-friendly Hotel

    It takes a short walk from the station, but it is very easy to find. There is a coin laundry on the first floor, giving the impression of a long-stay Hotel. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, making it an enjoyable walk. The Facility is not brand new, but the bath is spacious enough to stretch your legs. Although it does not support USB, there is an outlet by the bedside, so you can charge your devices with ease. The desk is also spacious, making it suitable for working on a PC. Breakfast is the type you heat up in your Room. You can even choose unique station bento rice balls, making breakfast enjoyable. Various types of coffee are available in front of the reception. It felt like a welcome drink, providing a pleasant moment to relax.

    Repeat Stays

    I stayed here last time and was very satisfied, so I chose this hotel again. The staff were very kind and courteous, and I am very grateful. The room is clean and there is nothing to complain about. I would like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo. Thank you very much.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    It was a 6-day stay, and the location was excellent. Not only was it close to the station, but there were also convenience stores, supermarkets, and cafes within walking distance, making it very convenient for daily life. I used a room with a washer-dryer and a mini kitchen, which allowed me to live almost the same as usual, which was very appreciated. The staff's response was excellent, and they provided courteous phone support when I inquired about the room facilities before my stay. Of course, during my stay, they promptly answered any inquiries and greeted me pleasantly when I went out, allowing me to stay with peace of mind. The only concern was that the room cleaning seemed insufficient. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

    I slept well!

    I stayed for one night during a business trip to Tokyo. Since I had an important job the next day, I was a bit worried about whether I could sleep well, being somewhat sensitive. However, the room's air conditioning was not too cold, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. For breakfast, I received a set meal in a metal basket, as shown in the photos, at the front desk on the 1st floor. I was able to heat it up using the microwave in my room and eat at my own pace. Drip coffee was also available for unlimited consumption outside of maintenance hours. I was able to spend my morning preparation time peacefully and successfully handled the important task! I would definitely like to use this place again if I have another business trip.

    I used the annex. It was very nice to have a washing machine. It was conveniently located nearby. I think it would be nice to increase the frequency of cleaning a bit more. I didn't have any trouble since I took out the trash myself. My suggestion is to clean the balcony nicely.
