    Repeat

    Close to the station, the Room has a front-loading washer-dryer and a large desk, so it was very convenient. I would stay again if I come to the area. The front desk staff were also very kind and helpful. Thank you.

    It was very difficult due to a false fire alarm.

    A fire alarm went off shortly after 8:00 a.m., with an announcement telling us to evacuate. In a panic, we ran down the emergency stairs from the 9th floor under extreme stress. The announcement repeated for about 20 minutes. Firefighters arrived and confirmed it was a false alarm. I’m truly relieved nothing happened, but there was no explanation or guidance from the Hotel staff at all. With the elevators stopped, we—including international guests—spent an anxious time on the first floor. Even during the emergency announcements, I was surprised to see staff only handling check-out procedures, as if they already knew it was a malfunction. It felt like there is no proper system in place for real emergencies or false alarms like this. There was no apology and no explanation; we couldn’t return to our Room for quite some time, and I ended up late for my training session. This was my first stay here. I liked features such as the washing machine, easy-to-use toothbrushes, and the relaxing Room layout, and I wanted to stay again in the future—but this experience was disappointing. Not having Room cleaning wasn’t a big issue, but I would like each Room to have a handheld vacuum (not just available as a loan item) and cleaning tools for the bathtub. *I wasn’t sure where to report what happened today, so I wrote it here. It doesn’t need to be made public.*

    Takanawa Gateway Station

    I stayed here because I wanted to visit Takanawa Gateway at the end of my trip. The Hotel is close to Sengakuji Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, which was great since I was traveling with a suitcase. It’s also convenient for getting to Haneda Airport with no transfers. The Room was clean. Having a washer-dryer in the Room was very convenient, and it was clean as well. Because it’s so convenient for getting around, I would like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo. Thank you very much.

    Perfect.

    I stayed here on a business trip. Both Sengakuji Station and Takanawa Gateway Station are nearby, so the location is very convenient. The Room was comfortable and ideal for my stay. Breakfast was delicious, and I’d like to make another Reservation.

    Close to the station, clean, and the Room also had a washing machine and a microwave. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use for long stays or in midsummer. It’s a strong candidate for my regular Accommodation.

    My business trips to Tokyo usually had me staying around Shinagawa or Tamachi (Mita), but this time, on my wife’s recommendation, I stayed at Tokyu Stay Takanawa for the first time. The location is very convenient—easy access from Haneda Airport and just a short walk from Sengakuji Station on the Keikyu Line. This time as well, I stopped by the Hotel first from Haneda and had them store my luggage, which made it easy to get around Tokyo hands-free. Takanawa Gateway Station is also right in front of the Hotel, making it convenient for using JR lines and allowing me to work efficiently. I made a Reservation for a Room with a double bed; it was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable. The Hotel is a good size and easy to relax in, and I also enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast.     Equipped with a washer and dryer

    It was my first time experiencing a Room with a washer-dryer. It was very helpful and convenient as it dried clothes in a short time. I also appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate. However, I was slightly concerned about the stain on the cushion. I would like to use it again if I have another opportunity.

    Everything was excellent.

    3 minutes to Takanawa Gateway Station, 1 minute to Sengakuji Station. The bed is firm, the windows can be opened, and the room includes a bath and washing machine for a comfortable stay. While it took some time to get answers from the front desk due to limited knowledge on certain matters, the property was clean, quiet, and pleasant overall.

    A truly excellent Hotel.

    This was my first time staying here. I only use hotels a few times a year for sightseeing, but this accommodation was very reasonably priced and incredibly clean! And the in-room facilities were amazing! There was a drum-type washing machine in the room, complete with detergent provided. It was so convenient to wash sweaty clothes during the summer. The room also had a microwave, which I appreciated. They even provided popular items like high-quality hair dryers and showerheads! At the front desk, there was a coffee machine where you could enjoy iced coffee—it was delicious! I definitely want to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Excellent Access

    Two stations are accessible, both within a short walking distance, offering excellent convenience. Even on heavy rainy days, you can stay mostly dry. This time, I stayed in a Room with separate bath and toilet, which made my stay especially comfortable.

    I would love to use it again next time.

    The Room was thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom was spacious and clean, making my stay very comfortable. The Room is equipped with a washing machine, pants press, and microwave, providing facilities suitable for extended stays. I would like to use it again for my next long business trip. However, cleaning during extended stays is not done daily, so I recommend confirming this in advance. Breakfast is slightly expensive, so it might be worth checking beforehand as well.

    Convenient Hotel

    A 2-night, 3-day stay with no meals included. The facility is equipped with a washing machine and microwave, making it convenient to avoid bringing back sweaty clothes during the hot summer and to warm up pre-purchased bread for breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained in every aspect. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. Next time, I would like to try the on-site café that also offers lunch. The convenience of being close to the station was excellent as well.

    It was very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay.

    I always use the Tokyu Stay chain for business trips, but this was my first time reserving a "room with a kitchen." Since this stay was longer at 4 nights, choosing a "room with a kitchen" was the perfect decision. Thanks to the IH stove, cutting board, and knife provided, I could prepare simple meals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Also, it had been a while since I stayed at "Takanawa," and I found it very convenient in terms of access. The room size is slightly larger compared to other hotels in the chain, allowing for a more comfortable stay. One common issue with Tokyu Stay properties might be frequent washing machine error messages ("Dryer filter clogged U04"). Although I clean the filter thoroughly with a toothbrush each time, it seems like internal clogging or insufficient drum cleaning might be causing this problem.

    The facility is good, but the view outside the window is a wall.

    Choose Tokyu Stay for reliable performance. Having stayed in Shinjuku a month ago with a good impression, there was a sense of reassurance. However, the view outside the window was just a wall, which was tough for someone slightly claustrophobic and from the countryside. It became an incentive to go out even on scorching hot days. It would be great if the café could be utilized more effectively.

    The Room is equipped with a washer-dryer and laundry detergent, making it convenient to pack light. The space is ample, and the separate bath and toilet are convenient for traveling with others without concern. It’s very quiet as no noise from surrounding Rooms or hallways can be heard. High-quality electric kettles, hairdryers, and showerheads are provided. Self-serve drinks are available next to the front desk, including cocoa, which was a delightful option. However, the plates in the Room were slightly dirty and needed washing before use—this was a bit disappointing.

    It was great.

    This was my first time staying here. I was delighted to find a washing and drying machine in the Room, along with Refa-brand items such as a hairdryer, shampoo, and conditioner. Despite my late check-in past midnight, the staff provided excellent service. The Room was clean and comfortable. The location, just a 5-minute walk from Takanawa Gateway Station, was also very convenient.

    I would like to stay again.

    Convenient access and the comfort of the Room exceeded expectations for a Business Hotel. Equipped with a ReFa hair dryer, an in-room washing machine, and detergent provided, the amenities are well-stocked. However, one downside was that the bedside outlet was not powered and could not be used, which is why I rated it one star lower. Other outlets worked fine, so there were no issues with charging devices.

    There was an event offering matcha and traditional sweets during check-in. They were very delicious. The Room had a ReFa hair dryer, shower head, shampoo, and treatment. I would love to stay again.

    The surrounding area is becoming increasingly lively.

    I use this for its convenience. However, recently, with the surrounding area being developed, there are fewer vacancies. The road in front is often congested, making it occasionally difficult to get a taxi through apps. While this rapid redevelopment is not the hotel's responsibility, I will make sure to reserve early whenever possible.

    Simply satisfying!

    This was my first time staying at this Hotel. It is very close to the nearest station, making it convenient for access to both Shinagawa and Ginza areas, which I found very satisfying.     Used for a business trip. Conveniently located near Sengakuji Station, the Room was spacious, and the bed linens were clean, making my stay comfortable.     It was reasonably good.

    It was a necessary stay for work. Most of the guests were Westerners, but it was quiet and comfortable. The room was stylish and clean. The bathtub was spacious and relaxing. A double room for one person was just right. It had a washer-dryer and microwave, which were very convenient after work during this season. Although it came with breakfast and felt slightly expensive, considering hotel prices in Tokyo have increased by 1.5 times recently, it seemed reasonable enough. Simple yet lovely accommodation overall. Breakfast options were limited, but given the current situation, it felt sufficient. I would like to stay at Takanawa Gateway again for work in the future. Next door is an APA Hotel, but I find this place more relaxing for me!

    Compact yet clean Room

    The bed is spacious enough and the area around it is functional, allowing for simple document organization while seated. During this time, you can also do laundry such as underwear, making cleanup easy. The bath is sufficiently large for a hotel of this size. Although the variety of breakfast items was not extensive, I was satisfied as I could enjoy it without any crowding.

    We stayed for about two weeks due to our child's entrance exams. We are grateful for the various considerations provided when we had an injury. When we stayed in Gotanda before, there was a mini kitchen, and I think it would have been better if there was one here as well.
