    We had a relaxing stay.

    Although it’s close to the station, Yokohama Station is so large that I still got a bit lost. However, I found my own landmarks, so next time I’ll be able to get there without any trouble. The unexpected surprise Room upgrade on the day, the amenities, the separate pajama set, and the wide variety of teas made for a very relaxing stay. I will stay here again when I’m in Yokohama.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    It was very convenient—just a short walk from Yokohama Station’s North West Exit, with a convenience store and a drugstore nearby. However, it’s located in an area that feels like a nightlife district, so if you’re traveling alone as a woman, you might feel a bit uncomfortable at night. All the staff were kind and courteous. Check-in and check-out via the machine were also easy and convenient.

    It feels like the quality has declined.

    There was women’s hair left in the bathroom of the Room I checked into, and it seemed that the Room had not been properly cleaned. At the very least, I would like toothbrushes and a hairbrush to be provided in the Room.

    It was terrible.

    The scheduled cleaning was not done. The front desk kept making excuses and eventually admitted it. With the eco-cleaning service, replacement towels were carelessly left on top of the messy bedding. This Hotel does not seem capable of proper cleaning. I have stayed at many hotels, but this was the first time I experienced such a careless Hotel—it was the worst.

    Convenient

    I stayed here for a live concert at Pia Arena. It was very close to the station, and there were many restaurants nearby, which was convenient. The Room was very clean, as if it had been recently renovated, and I appreciated having a Room with a separate bath and toilet. The amenities included Sekkisei products, which I was happy about. I would like to stay here again when attending a concert in Yokohama.

    So clean you’d never guess it’s a business hotel!

    The area isn’t very safe due to the location, but once inside, it was so clean that I felt at ease. The bathtub was spacious, and it was fun being able to switch between different shower heads. The selectable bath salts and the POLA hand soap also smelled wonderful. There were blinds by the sink area in front of the bathroom, which made me feel more comfortable, and opening them made the Room look larger—really nice. I expected a typical business hotel, but it was very clean! I could watch lots of apps on the TV by logging in, and mirroring worked too. Also, I personally loved the drip bag coffee and lemon mint tea—they were delicious and made me happy. For eco reasons there wasn’t bottled water in the Room (it seems you can get some by following their Instagram), but there was a water dispenser system where you go fill up yourself, and it was great to have both room-temperature water and cold water. The BALMUDA electric kettle looked stylish too—big plus points. The Superior Double bed was extremely comfortable as well. I want to go to Royal Host next time! Very satisfied!

    During this stay, I caused trouble by leaving an item behind (a parasol) and by reporting a lost valuable, but thanks to your help I was able to finish my trip without any issues. I am very grateful. One thing I noticed was that before 10:00, the elevators were difficult to use, perhaps because many guests were checking out at the same time. It felt like a very long wait even from the upper floors, so I imagine it may take even longer for guests on floors closer to the lobby.

    Compared to other Richmond Hotels

    The Hotel was conveniently close to the station and well equipped, but the service was the worst among all the Richmond Hotels I have stayed at so far.

    Highly satisfying.

    Every month, I take a solo stay away from my family to unwind. Until now, I used to go to a Hotel in Minato Mirai with an open-air bath. This was my first time here, but I was drawn by the Royal Host breakfast. Check-in was at 2:00 PM. I stayed in a double Room on the 10th floor. It was spacious and didn’t feel cramped at all. Having the sink right near the entrance was very convenient, and the bathroom is easy to use as it has a separate washing area. I worried that without an open-air bath my satisfaction might be lower, but the bathtub is large and there were bath salts too, so it worked out nicely. I ate too much lunch at Royal Host so I skipped dinner, but I saw that you can get 10% off at the pub on the 2nd floor, so next time I’d like to go for dinner. As a Yokohama resident, I often visit Royal Host in Tsuruyacho, but this was my first time trying their breakfast buffet. I was excited—and as expected from Royal Host, it was extremely satisfying. At night I worried train noise might be loud, but the soundproofing is solid—my concern turned out to be unfounded. The water dispenser near the elevators is also great. It’s more sustainable than plastic bottles. In the morning, sunlight came through the window and it was a pleasant wake-up. The Room is very well cleaned. The building is about 10 years old, but everything looks spotless. I wanted to read in bed, but there wasn’t a reading light—so I regretted not bringing one. Next time I’ll bring a light when I stay again. Thank you for taking care of me.

    I’ll stay here again!

    We stayed here for my daughter’s entrance exam. I asked the female front desk staff about the trains on the exam day, and I was happy with how kindly and thoroughly she explained everything. The room was clean, and there were plenty of towels, amenities, and in-room items—great value for the price. It’s close to the station, with a convenience store right next door and many restaurants nearby, so next time we stay I’d like to enjoy a good meal in the area as well. We will stay again.

    About the Room

    When I entered the Room via self check-in, it was different from my Reservation. When I went to the front desk, I was told that due to the Hotel’s circumstances (adjustments), they had upgraded me free of charge. I was looking forward to staying in the Room I had chosen, so I asked to be moved back to my reserved Room. I’m sorry for declining your kind offer. A few small things: the bathtub felt rough, there was hair visible near the bathtub drain, there was hair caught in the pajamas, and there was a red stain on the toilet door that looked like blood (it came off when I wiped it). It made me a bit concerned about cleanliness. The amenity bar was well stocked, and I was happy to be able to enjoy coffee freely. Lastly, even with self check-in, it would be nice to receive at least a simple “Welcome” or “Hello” when guests arrive.

    Conveniently located near the station

    The location was close to the station and easy to find. The Hotel itself was clean and convenient. There were many bars and restaurants nearby, so finding dinner at night was not a problem. The breakfast buffet at Royal Host was delicious. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

    We had a great time.

    This was my first stay, and despite being close to the station, it was quiet and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay. The Room was spacious and clean. I especially appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate. It was also very convenient to check restaurant crowd levels, coin laundry availability, and even the time remaining for laundry through the TV in the Room. The elevator security was reliable, which made me feel safe throughout my stay. I would love to stay here again!

    Value beyond the price

    Compared to business hotels in the same price range in Tokyo, the room is over 1.5 times larger. I stayed in the most basic room, which included a bed, desk, small table, and two chairs. There is a spacious separate toilet and a compact yet fully equipped bathroom. The sink is also large. The room features a SALONIA hairdryer, BALMUDA kettle, and a large TV with plenty of video apps available. Complimentary mineral water is provided as part of the service. Amenities such as basic skincare products, bath salts, coffee, and tea can be taken freely as needed. Both the room and facility are new and clean. Excellent value for money!

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed for one night. The hotel is close to the station, and the Room was very clean and well-maintained, allowing for a comfortable stay. The clock next to the bed had stopped, and I intended to inform the staff at checkout but forgot to mention it. I would love to stay here again.

    Great location, close to the station and a convenience store nearby. The Room and bed were spacious. The layout and Facility of the Room were user-friendly, and having a separate bath and toilet was a nice touch. What I loved the most was the bath salt service! During my stay, I took several baths, so being able to pack as much as I needed from the front desk area was fantastic. Easy access from Haneda Airport—would love to stay here again!

    Great location, excellent value for money

    Conveniently located near the station. I stayed in a room with separate bath and toilet for a Multiple Night Stay. Being able to request a preferred time for room cleaning was very helpful.

    Comfortable Stay Near Yokohama Station

    The package was placed in the Room as requested. The Room is 20 square meters and comfortable. A slightly larger desk would have been better. It was disappointing that there was no footlight. The separate bath, toilet, and washroom were convenient, but please ensure the bathroom floor is cleaned to avoid slipperiness. Having a Corby trouser press available is a great point. However, the elevator is slow, so it's better to start your morning early. The sink drainage occasionally becomes slow randomly. It was surprising to be asked for both the Room number and name when receiving a laundry service slip. Typically, items for cleaning are placed in a laundry bag with the slip filled out beforehand and brought to the front desk. In city Hotels, you can usually leave it in your Room or have it picked up with just a phone call. It's unfortunate that there are few staff at reception, leading to long waiting times. Breakfast leans heavily towards Chinese cuisine with very few traditional Japanese dishes available. On the third day, I bought my preferred food and ate in my Room instead. Breakfast vouchers can be used as 2,000 yen meal tickets at Royal Host for about one month ahead. The Hotel's location is in a somewhat cluttered area but conveniently close to Yokohama Station North Exit West Gate (Kita Nishiguchi). The clean and comfortable Rooms made for an enjoyable stay overall!

    Check-in was at 6 PM...

    Check-in was at 6 PM, and although I arrived a bit earlier, the staff's response was excellent. A QR code for check-in was sent in advance, making the process smooth. The accommodation seemed to have many international guests. I appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate; the deep bathtub was also very nice! The room was quiet, clean, and allowed me to choose my pillow—definitely a hotel I'd like to use again. However, adjusting the air conditioning felt slightly challenging, so I deducted one star. I opted for breakfast included and went to Royal Host's morning buffet. Perhaps my expectations were too high as I felt there weren't many options available. My husband, who often stays at business hotels, mentioned that even business hotel breakfasts usually offer about two types of fish. My rating for meals is based solely on breakfast quality.

    Comfortable for the second time too

    Following my visit in February, I stayed here again for a live event at K Arena Yokohama. This time, the room matched my reservation and was spacious enough for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated that the bathroom and toilet are separate. Previously, I mentioned in a review that the pajamas were slightly small. The hotel responded that larger sizes are available upon request at the front desk. When I mentioned this during check-in, they provided me with larger pajamas, allowing me to relax comfortably. For breakfast, while I opted for Western-style last time, this time I chose Japanese-style and was equally satisfied. I plan to visit again in October with my spouse for another live event!

    Close to the station, spacious and clean Room, reasonably priced.

    Due to work reasons, I requested an earlier check-in time than planned the day before. Although it was a paid service, the accommodation was very helpful. Additionally, my Room was upgraded for free, possibly because there were vacancies. As mentioned on the website, the bath, toilet, and sink were separate and well-cleaned with a sense of cleanliness. The quality at this price is very satisfying. I would like to use this accommodation again if I have another opportunity.

    Every year, I visit ...

    Every year, I visit Yokohama with my elderly mother, and we always choose Richmond Hotel Yokohama Station! It's so close to the station! The Room is clean, and the toilet and bath are separate! There's a drugstore on the first floor—it's perfect. I gave 4 stars for the Facility because it would be great if there was one more grab bar in the bathroom. My mother, who has difficulty walking, struggled a bit when getting out of the bathtub. Other than that, it's an excellent Hotel! We will use it again next year!

    Stay Before Visiting Anpanman Museum

    I stayed in the Family Twin Room with my daughter and grandchild. The bathroom with a washing area was very comfortable. The staff provided kind and attentive service. For meals, we used Royal Host for both dinner and breakfast. Located on the second floor below the lobby, it was very convenient for families with children.

    The Room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. Amenities include Sekkisei products and bath salts with a lovely, relaxing scent, which is especially delightful for women! Conveniently located near the station in the city center, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Despite the central location, the Room is very quiet, linens have no odor at all, and the bed's firmness is comfortable for a good night's sleep! I would love to stay here again! Next time, I’d like to try breakfast at Royal Host.

    It was a nice Room.

    This was my first time staying in Yokohama. The accommodation had great access from the station, and since the toilet and bathroom were separate, it was convenient for three people to use without waiting. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I would definitely like to stay here again!
