    Business Trip to Nagoya

    I stayed here on a business trip. I chose it because I had an early appointment nearby the next morning, and it turns out the hotel is in a lively downtown area. It can be a bit noisy at night with voices outside, but it may be great for those who enjoy going out for drinks. I skipped the bath because I was told the shower temperature could not be adjusted. Breakfast at Komeda is excellent.

    Maintenance must be quite challenging...

    I stay at this accommodation almost every month. The location is quite convenient, though it's near the entrance of Nishiki-San district, and above all, it's very affordable. Mineral water service started at the end of May. Cleaning might be challenging due to staff shortages, but this time, the bottom of the unit bath was extremely slippery, possibly from soap residue. This has never happened before...

    Hotel located in the heart of the bustling Nishiki district

    Located in the heart of Nishiki, it is very convenient as it's just a short distance from Sakae after a night out, though the area can be busy with solicitors. Additionally, the large public bath is a delightful feature. Breakfast is provided by Komeda's Morning Service, offering just the right amount to start your day comfortably and head to your next destination.

    The large bath is very relaxing.

    I requested a high floor but was assigned the 2nd floor, which was a bit disappointing. However, the location was convenient, and the Room was satisfactory. The public bath is located on the top 12th floor, and when the elevator doors opened, I was greeted with a stunning view through glass windows. There’s also a counter-style rest area where you can relax with refreshments and ice cream, which I enjoyed. At GRANDE Nagoya, bath salts were provided as amenities, so I didn’t bring any from home; however, they weren’t available at Nishiki, so I only used the shower in my room. Other amenities were similar between locations. The Shikinoyu bath featured Mikimoto shampoo and other products that were excellent—I believe Mikimoto products are also used in Ise? Perhaps each Hotel has its unique offerings? Overall it was a great experience, and I would love to stay again!

    I had an unpleasant experience from New Year's.

    The location was good, the price was cheap, and the reviews were positive, so I decided on this hotel, but I was startled by a realistic toy lizard in the room. I don't know if it was left by a previous guest, but it was stuck at eye level on the entrance door, so it might have been a prank. I was very surprised and had an unpleasant experience. The mirror had many handprints, making me wonder if they really check the cleaning. I understand that during the New Year holidays, they might be short-staffed and the cleaning staff might have a hard time, but when I conveyed this to the front desk, their response was just "Oh, I see, sorry," which made me feel bad. Indeed, it was just a toy and I wasn't injured, so I didn't want anything done, but since I was staying at the hotel for relaxation, I lost trust in the hotel. Other than that, there were no particular problems, but I was left with a slightly disappointed feeling.

    The large public bath is also easy to use.

    Stays for two consecutive weeks at my regular property. I use the large public bath in the morning as part of my routine. Foreign guests may not be familiar with the bathing etiquette. It might be helpful to have instructions and signs displayed in multiple languages. Everything else was as comfortable as always.

    Affordable for regular Stays

    Used for a 2-night stay in Nagoya after a long time. The layout is streamlined, so there is no concern about congestion near the lobby, making it easy to use. It's also easy to leave luggage, so it has become a standard practice to drop it off first thing in the morning, travel during the day, and check in at night.

    The night view from the large public bath was fantastic.

    It was my first time using this service. I stayed for one night in a double bed Room with breakfast included (with a mini salad from Komeda). Unfortunately, it was raining, but they kindly lent me an umbrella, and towels were prepared. It was convenient to use the cloakroom both before check-in and after check-out. Having a large public bath is really appreciated. Although there is no sauna, it warmed my body chilled by the rain. Enjoying an ice candy while looking at the night view after the bath was the best. It's great to have a water server and ice machine on the same floor. Room wear and amenities were available at the front desk. It might be better to choose your pillow early.

    The location was excellent.

    The hotel was close to Chubu Electric Power MIRAI Tower (Chubu Denryoku MIRAI Tower) and located in a bustling area, making it an excellent choice for outings. The recommended dining spots at the hotel were mostly fully booked on Saturday, but they all seemed promising. The staff were kind, and I had a pleasant stay.

    A perfect base for exploring Nagoya.

    Stayed for 3 nights again. Room cleaning has almost become on a request basis, but if this helps keep the price down, I have no complaints. The large public bath is indeed less crowded early in the morning, which is nice. It's also conveniently close to Sakae Station, making it easy to go anywhere. I would like to stay here again.

    The best value for money in Nishiki.

    I have stayed here about 10 times already, and the price is reasonable, the room layout is fine, and the size of the large public bath is just right, providing a sense of stability. It was a scorching hot day, but they offered a frozen towel service at check-in. It's nice to have such services. As is common with recent business hotels, you can pick up some amenities around the front desk, but be careful not to forget the fabric slippers, as they are not available in the room. The cheap slippers in the room are actually more comfortable. (Regular slippers are provided in the room.)
