    Convenient.

I have stayed here several times already. I come to Nagoya a few times a year for work and consider other Hotels, but I always end up choosing this one—it’s my favorite. This time, I checked in late and couldn’t relax much, but both check-in and check-out were smooth.

    A calm and beautiful Hotel

I stayed here while sightseeing in Sakae and Osu. There is a book café on the 1st floor that you can use 24 hours a day. I received a welcome drink and was able to relax while reading any book I liked, and the Room was clean as well. It was a little disappointing that the bathroom only had a shower.

This was my second stay, and I stayed for two nights.

There’s a park nearby, and the bus stop and subway station are within walking distance—neither too central nor too far out, just a great location. The front desk staff were also very pleasant. I even found a favorite shop nearby and enjoyed reading a wonderful book, making it a great stay.

Comfortable and relaxing with everything you need.

I booked this book Hotel because I wanted to stay there. During the day, it seemed that some people were visiting as day guests, so the bookstore had many people, but it was quiet. The staff at the front desk/cafe were all polite and pleasant. The Room is compact, but it was enough for one person to relax. Amenities are kept to a minimum by concept, so please bring your own skincare and cosmetics such as face wash. For breakfast, you choose two burgers from several menu options, and a drink is included. It was delicious. It felt like there were many international travelers. I’d like to visit again even just to use the bookstore.

    A Book Lover's Paradise!

A perfect accommodation for book lovers! While the number of books is somewhat limited, the selection focuses on mystery and travel genres, making it enjoyable just to browse the spines. During your stay, you can read books in the first-floor reading corner or in your room, with unlimited borrowing. It's a place where you can encounter books you've been considering buying. The only downside is that there’s no bath, only showers. However, the drinks at the café downstairs are delicious, and stepping outside offers plenty of great dining options in the area. I even discovered two favorite restaurants during my stay, making it a delightful experience overall!

    Spend time with books

I heard about a place called "Book Hotel" and decided to give it a try. A high-end manga café? In the lounge, you can enjoy tea or light snacks while reading your favorite books. You can also request to take up to two books to your room. The bookshelf is curated with a theme of "Travel and Mystery." Lounge access is available 24/7 for accommodation guests! Staff are always present, though I fell asleep and didn’t confirm this myself, haha. The shower booths are equipped with rain showers and ReFa showerheads, making them very comfortable. Breakfast includes small "hamburgers" (with various fillings like hamburger patties or tuna) and drinks. Despite their size, they were surprisingly filling! The accommodation was clean, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying some quality reading time!

    Amenities are self-service.

The Facility and the sense of relaxation deserve a 5-star rating. However, amenities are minimal, so we recommend bringing your own. As for the bathroom, it only has a shower, which may lower its appeal. Still, it is available both at night and in the morning, making it convenient for those who prefer quick use. Rather than a Business Hotel, this is a comfortable Hotel ideal for those who want to enjoy their personal time fully.

    I felt very relaxed.

This hotel is perfect for relaxing at your own pace without any sightseeing plans. The room is well-lit and furnished, making it ideal for reading. I brought my unread books in a carry-on and stayed for three nights. If you get tired of your own books, you can borrow interesting ones from the store on the first floor. This time, I met a friend for dinner and did some sightseeing for just one day, but other than that, lounging in the room was incredibly enjoyable. The mini hamburgers at breakfast were also excellent—you can choose according to your appetite, which made every morning delightful. It's so comfortable that with each stay, I find myself extending my accommodation period. If possible, I'd love to stay for about a week!

    Second Stay

This time, as I checked in late, I could only use the book café on the 1st floor during breakfast hours. However, the room was cozy despite being small, and I was very satisfied. It’s a hotel where I’d like to relax while reading books, so I would love to stay again.

    Are hotels in Nagoya expensive?

Accommodation for theater visits in Nagoya. Located about a 5-minute walk from Fushimi Subway Station, near a park, offering a calm atmosphere. Conveniently, there is also a convenience store nearby. The room is very compact but cozy, featuring a single-seater sofa with an ottoman and allowing you to relax while enjoying the view of the park through the terrace. However, it only has a shower, which might not be ideal if you're looking to unwind completely—many recent hotels seem to have only showers these days. One concern was that the shelf holding the kettle and mugs had no doors, leaving them exposed. Additionally, the kettle was placed almost at floor level; this positioning felt unhygienic and made me hesitant to use them—perhaps overly cautious on my part but worth noting. While it may prioritize design aesthetics, some practical considerations would be appreciated here as well. For Friday night accommodation at over 14,000 yen (No Meals Included), it felt slightly overpriced. There was no complimentary bottled water typically provided in most hotels; towels were made of very thin fabric; and there was just one tea stick available in the room. Finding suitable accommodations in Nagoya can indeed be challenging!

    It was my first stay...

It was my first stay, and I really enjoyed being able to borrow books, have drinks, and use the workspace. The only concern was that the lighting in the Room was a bit dim.

    It was crowded.

This is my fourth stay. I love this Hotel because it offers encounters with books. There were many foreign guests, but they seemed to use it just as a hotel without picking up any books. Having a Lawson convenience store across the street is very convenient.

It is an ideal book hotel.

It was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time. The Room design and service are simple, but as a space for reading, it was quiet and allowed me to read comfortably. Within the limited space, there is a bed and a single-seater chair, allowing for writing as well. Coffee is easily accessible, and the view from the Room offers a wide view of the city. For me, it was the best experience, spending luxurious time.
