    Room odor

    Although I chose a non-smoking Room, it smelled of cigarettes. It was a bit uncomfortable until I got used to it. I wonder if it used to be a smoking Room? After my bath, I was surprised there were no loungewear/pajamas in the Room. They brought them later, though. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Conveniently located just steps from Kannai Station!

    Just a short walk from the station. Jonathan’s is on the first floor, and there’s a convenience store nearby. With MOS Burger, McDonald’s, Nakau, and Sukiya close by, you won’t have any trouble finding places to eat. A café called UNI COFFEE opens nearby from 7:00 a.m., and you can get a breakfast set for 500 yen. The coffee was delicious!

    Watching baseball at Yokohama Stadium

    I stayed here when attending a baseball game at Yokohama Stadium. The unit bath was quite compact, and honestly I was a bit surprised, but for this price and location (close to the station and Yokohama Stadium), it was not an issue at all. In fact, I think the value for money is excellent. All of the staff were kind, and what especially stood out was on the morning of checkout. When I left my Room, an employee who had been working a little distance away took the time to stand up and bow to me. That thoughtfulness made me very happy and gave me a pleasant start to the day. Not only is the location great, but I also think this Hotel’s warm hospitality is one of its best features. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Yokohama. Thank you very much.

    I stayed at this Hot...

    I stayed at this Hotel because of its convenient location, but I was surprised at how small the bathroom and toilet were. It felt extremely cramped, and I think it would be quite uncomfortable for larger guests. That said, considering the Accommodation Fee, it may be unavoidable.

    I was able to stay at an affordable price.

    Because this is a business trip, I have a budget limit, but lately it’s been tough to attend conferences since I often end up paying out of pocket. Hotel A is taking advantage of the situation. I was worried because it was so affordable despite being in Yokohama, but as expected from IKYU. Considering the price, it’s also close to the station, so it was more than sufficient.

    The unit bathroom was too small, making it difficult to take a shower. There was also mold staining, and it did not feel clean.

    Hidden mold in unseen places.

    The meals were delicious, and I ate until I was full. However, when I took a bath in the morning, I noticed mold in areas not easily visible to the cleaning staff, including near the bathroom entrance. The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep, but this issue left me slightly disappointed.

    Affordable

    Affordable and the Hotel itself is not bad, but the Room cleaning was not thorough, and there were yellow urine stains hardened in the toilet. The front desk staff also did not leave a good impression.

    So close!

    I frequently use this Facility as I like it very much. This time, I stayed in the sauna Room located at the far end, but the bathroom light was not working, and instead, a very small lantern was hanging there. Feeling inconvenienced, I called directly to inquire and was told that the "light is under repair." When I asked about changing Rooms, they said it would "take some time." Reluctantly, I used the Room as it was, but a prior notice would have shown more sincerity. Please ensure prompt repairs before the upcoming busy season! Also, regarding the Room window—it was so dirty that it looked like frosted glass! This makes it impossible to enjoy the beautiful Yokohama view. Please address this issue promptly!

    Does it smell like smoke?

    Despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes. The air purifier was already on when we entered the room, which made us wonder if the cleaning staff had noticed it. We specifically chose a non-smoking room for our reservation, so we tried to convince ourselves it couldn't be true. However, when other family members joined later, they shared the same opinion. The smell continued to bother us even before going to bed, and in hindsight, we should have requested a room change. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well and didn't have the energy to move rooms, so we decided to endure it. Perhaps there was some miscommunication with the cleaning staff? It’s disappointing.

    The amenities are limited.

    Not bad, but it falls short compared to hotels near Yokohama Station or Sakuragicho. Especially lacking in amenities. There is no razor like in overseas hotels, and the amenities are very basic. While I understand this might be a recent trend, I wish at least they would sell them at the front desk. As a result, I had to buy items at a drugstore, which caused unnecessary hassle aside from the expense. The bed was comfortable.

    A Memorable 2-Night, 3-Day Stay

    This was my second stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and handled check-in and check-out politely! The room was very clean, but the freezer wasn't working, so my ice cream... that was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was excellent!!

    Bathtub drainage is backing up.

    The bathroom has a notice saying, "Drain the bathtub slowly to avoid overflow into the bathroom," but it overflowed almost immediately, soaking the bath mat. While it's good that there's a warning, it was still an unpleasant experience.

    I appreciated the upgrade to a double Room. However, the Room, bathroom, and overall space were small and not comfortable. Although it was a non-smoking Room, the smell was noticeable. The noise from the hallway was also loud, which was disappointing.

    It was a last-minute...

    It was a last-minute business trip, but I was able to stay at the accommodation cost-effectively. Perfectly suitable as a base for solo business or sightseeing without any issues.

    It was comfortable.

    The unit bath was a bit small, and the elevator had a slight tobacco smell, but overall I was very satisfied. The Room and other areas of the facility were well-cleaned and comfortable, and above all, the front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable. Yokohama Stadium and Kannai Station are really close by, which is very convenient. I would love to stay here again when attending games.

    Conveniently located near the station!

    Close to Kannai Station and very convenient. There is a FamilyMart and Lawson near the Hotel, and Jonathan's on the first floor of the Hotel, making it very convenient. The Hotel staff were all polite, allowing for a pleasant stay. The downside was the small size of the bathroom & toilet in the guest room. Even for someone petite like me (155cm tall), it felt cramped! I imagine it would feel even more restrictive for men.

    Basically good, but...

    The front desk service, breakfast, and room cleaning are generally satisfactory and I believe the level of satisfaction is quite high. However, there were some minor concerns such as dust and dirt in hard-to-reach areas and mold in the corners of the bathroom.

    Event

    We used the Room for an event. Before check-in, we were allowed to leave our luggage and took it in and out several times, but each time the staff was courteous and helpful, which was greatly appreciated. The disappointing part was that the unit bath was narrower than expected. The toilet, in particular, was really cramped. If that was the only issue, it would be understandable, but the shower curtain smelled due to humidity, and the odor was noticeable every time we entered the toilet. The Room itself was compact and not a problem.
