    Silver Week Trip

    The room was a bit small, but everything inside—including the toilet and bathroom—was very clean. They also let me in for breakfast a little early, and the food was good. However, despite arriving early, the parking lot was full and it cost 1,400 yen. Since it’s far from the station, I wish there were more affiliated parking options. I also think you should remove the 1,000-yen listing on Ikkyu; I will inform the site as well.

    I keep coming back to stay here!

    I’m a repeat guest. Breakfast is included, and although parking is paid, it’s a reasonably priced flat lot that can be used regardless of vehicle type. However, this was the first time I was disappointed. This will be a long review. Was the room I stayed in one that is rarely used or not used at all? The bathroom/fixtures had clearly not been cleaned properly. The washbasin had pink ring stains, and the grout around where water splashes was blackened. I didn’t notice it when it was dry, but during the shower—maybe from the curtain?—a bad smell filled the bathroom and surprised me. In the morning, when I soaked in the tub and then drained it, my finger accidentally touched behind the faucet rubber seal, and there was obvious slime. I wondered if it might not come off, but when I scrubbed part of the basin and grout with a toothbrush, it came off—so this was simply inadequate cleaning. The duvet also smelled like it had been stored for a long time and taken out after ages. I checked thinking it might be from the sheets, but it wasn’t; by the next morning, even the sheets had picked up the odor from the duvet (I recommend having it professionally cleaned). In addition, one ring on the shower curtain had come off when I looked in the morning. (Did this happen during use? Since they were stopper rings, perhaps they weren’t secured properly.) Putting aside how old some parts of the room are: I believe all of these issues were due to insufficient cleaning and lack of a second check by staff. It wasn’t a room worth paying for. I plan to continue staying here in future as well, so please improve your cleaning checks.

    It varies greatly depending on the floor.

    The renovated lower floors were clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Sorry to trouble you, but I left behind a pair of black socks—have they been found?

    Great value for money.

    Overall, it offers decent value for money. If you go for breakfast close to the end of service, the selection is limited, and available seating becomes scarce. The latter was particularly inconvenient. It was nearly full, and some guests who tried to use closed tables were reprimanded. A more flexible approach rather than strictly adhering to rules would have been appreciated. The breakfast staff seemed more focused on completing tasks rather than providing attentive service. My impression is that skipping breakfast here might be a better option—though an earlier visit might yield a different experience.

    Affordable prices are our appeal.

    The hotel is a few bus stops away from the station, making it a bit far to walk with luggage. However, this means it's quiet and free from large crowds of foreign tourists. The price was about one-third of hotels near the station, so I didn't expect much in terms of facilities. While the wallpaper had stains, it was within an acceptable range for me. The outlets and lighting seemed outdated—perhaps from the Showa era—and were slightly inconvenient in today's smartphone age. For leisure travel, the old-fashioned atmosphere might feel depressing, but for business stays where you're just sleeping, it's sufficient. That said, there were some disappointments with service: my suitcase sent in advance wasn't placed in my room; a requested humidifier wasn't provided; and for multiple night stays without cleaning service, I was told to "notify them beforehand" to receive complimentary water (even though this wasn't mentioned anywhere). The front desk service felt lacking overall but seemed reasonable given the price. On a positive note, they offered a happy hour drink service at night where beer was included—a nice touch! Breakfast was also complimentary with limited options but varied dishes each day during my multiple night stay, which I appreciated.

    It was average.

    It was neither particularly good nor bad, just average. I made a Reservation through IKYU.com, but it was inconvenient as the QR code for unmanned check-in was not sent. The one free drink during happy hour and breakfast were okay.

    Thank you to all the staff.

    I stayed for 3 nights while visiting my hometown. The Facility is old, but it was well-cleaned and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast and happy hour services were excellent. All the staff were kind, courteous, and had wonderful smiles. I will definitely stay here again.

    Thank you for your patronage.

    I stayed here during a business trip. It was my first time in Okayama, and I wasn't familiar with the area, so it took me some time to find the place. I later realized there were many buses available and decided to take one back to the station on my return. The welcome drink service was excellent—nothing beats a refreshing drink after a long day of walking. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Okayama!

    In the Stay Single Room, there is a washing machine and microwave in the room, along with a refrigerator that includes a freezer function, which is very convenient. The amenity bar is also well-stocked. This time, due to an issue with the door, I was upgraded from a Single Room to a spacious Twin Room. There was even a massage chair, which I gratefully used. The breakfast had a gentle flavor that doesn't get tiring and was very satisfying. I would love to stay at this Hotel again.

    Excellent value for money

    As the building is a bit old, it’s understandable that the rooms and bath facilities show their age. The room was slightly spacious and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary welcome beer was excellent. The staff were all smiling and their service was flawless. Considering the value for money, this is the best place for me to stay in Okayama.

    The facility is old, but the service is doing its best.

    It's a bit of a walk from Okayama Station, but it's a straight line and easy to find along the main road. The Facility itself is old, but it's full of welcome services. Check-in was smooth, and the staff's hospitality was courteous. The Room's power is activated by a card, but it turns off quickly, so as long as you know that, it's convenient to use. Breakfast is provided for free, and it was really delicious with rice, and with such a variety of menu options, I think the satisfaction level is high. Even if the Facility is somewhat old, the convenience and warmth of the staff make me want to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Good location, and friendly service.

    There was nothing to complain about. The staff were very pleasant and excellent. Among them, the male staff member at breakfast was very attentive to everyone and left a very good impression. He made me want to use the service again, especially at the very end during checkout.
