    Convenient

    I stayed here because I had errands nearby, and as the title says, it was very convenient. It had been a long time since I last used a large public bath, so it felt really good.

    It was a sudden accommodation, but

    I had to make a sudden reservation near the area due to a visit to relatives. Although I was initially concerned about cleanliness, the room had no unpleasant odors, and I was able to stay comfortably. I stayed twice and did not use the large public bath on either occasion, but I would like to try it next time. During my second stay, I also tried dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were served by friendly staff, and the signature Route Inn curry was delicious. The accommodation has plenty of rooms and parking spaces, making it very convenient. The only thing I wished for was if there were ice cream or sweet snacks in the vending machine. As someone unfamiliar with business hotels or chain hotels and feeling apprehensive at first, I ended up having a more comfortable experience than expected and am satisfied with my stay.

    Stayed alone, but the room had sufficient facilities. A sofa would have been better than a chair. The unit bath felt slightly spacious.

    I chose this Hotel because I was looking for a place that is convenient for traveling by car while exploring Chichibu. On the first day, I drove to Chichibu, and it didn’t feel too far. On the second day, I took the SL train from Kumagaya Station and was very satisfied! Considering the free parking, breakfast included, and large public bath, it’s surprisingly affordable compared to Business Hotels near the station. The breakfast was truly delicious. I also appreciated the coffee service. The free morning newspaper added to the excellent service! Although the bathwater quality and toiletries like body soap, shampoo, and conditioner didn’t suit my skin perfectly... still, being able to stretch out in a large bath and relax on a spacious bed really helped me unwind from my travels. It would be great if there were amenities like DHC facial cleansers or basic skincare products (single-use packs). Hair ties or shower caps would also be nice additions. How about a system where guests can take what they need from in front of reception?

    I was completely satisfied.

    There was a very spacious flat parking lot, with two buildings, East and West, and it was a clean Route Inn. The front desk staff were warm, and I had a pleasant stay. The room was a bit small, but it was clean. I was relieved to find disposable slippers available. My husband was pleased with the two-piece pajamas or in-house wear with pants. I don't know if it was because of the Airweave bed, but I slept well. Despite being a large hotel and staying on a Saturday, I used the large public bath three times and had moments of having it all to myself each time. There were various restaurants around if you walked a bit, but since going out was a hassle, we used the restaurant inside the property. There was a 60-minute all-you-can-drink option including draft beer, which was very popular. The couple next to us enjoyed it and said, "Let's come again tomorrow night." Every dish was satisfying, and the freshly cooked rice was delicious. Breakfast starting at 6:30 was very crowded when I lined up at 6:30. There were seats, but it took time to get the food. There was something like an automatic rice serving machine, and it was amusing to see freshly cooked rice drop down. I also enjoyed the coffee in front of the front desk. Also, perhaps by chance, whether it was for meals or this coffee, everyone was considerate of others and took turns without rushing, giving a gentle impression. From small words and gestures, I felt that people were nice, which made it an enjoyable hotel. My first stay in Kumagaya was very pleasant. Thank you very much. I would like to visit again.
