    Excellent value for money when staying in Kobe.

    This Hotel is located in a slightly rough downtown area, but it’s an excellent choice for those who want to take the train into Kobe in the evening for a great meal and then stay overnight at a proper Hotel at an affordable price.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    I was shown to a Room larger than expected. Since I planned to work remotely in the Hotel, the large desk was a huge help! Also, I really enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee, and black tea in the lobby. I also appreciated being able to borrow bath salts and a rubber duck. It was very comfortable, and I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you!

    It was great!

    This was my first stay, and as mentioned in the Reviews, the bathtub was spacious, so I could relax and soak comfortably—it was great. I also appreciated being able to choose from various types of pillows. It’s close to Shinkaichi Station with easy access to Sannomiya, which was very convenient.

    Glad it was available.

    With baseball games, festivals, conferences, and other events overlapping, Accommodations between Osaka and Kobe were fully booked and it was difficult to secure a Reservation. I was truly grateful to be able to book and stay at a reasonable price within a manageable travel distance. The Room was clean, the front desk staff were courteous and clear, and it was a comfortable stay.

    The variety of drink...

    The variety of drinks at the drink bar in front of the elevator was great, and breakfast offered a good range of options, including gratin. It was also convenient that the shower and toilet were in separate rooms.

    Pros: Large bed, spacious toilet, quiet air purifier Suggestions for improvement: The size of the disposable slippers was too small for men (did not fit size 26.0 feet), and the bathroom mirror lacked an anti-fog feature; without a ventilation fan, the mirror stayed foggy for a long time. Issues: The shower area in the bathroom was too small, making it impossible to use the bathtub.

    Conveniently located near the station with easy access to dining options.

    This is my second stay. I use this accommodation several times a year when visiting Kobe. I have nostalgic memories of the area as my relatives used to live nearby, and I enjoy staying in Shinkaichi, which hasn't changed much over the years. The bathtub allows for a relaxing soak, the room is spacious, and I am very satisfied with the breakfast. I will definitely stay here again next time.

    Perfect score without complaints

    The lobby offers bath additives and other enjoyable features, while the interior, Room, and bathroom are clean and excellent. The bed has just the right softness for a good night's sleep. Overall, it is an exceptionally clean Hotel. Although this may sound overly complimentary, the high ratings are truly well-deserved. It is conveniently located near the station in Shinkaichi, an interesting area with enjoyable local shopping streets nearby.

    The service, room facilities, and amenities were excellent. I was upgraded to a Ladies' Room due to availability, which made my stay very comfortable. The separate bath and toilet setup was new to me, but the bath was more spacious than expected and allowed for a relaxing experience. The classical design of the sink added a charming touch that lifted my mood. However... I found strands of hair on the desk, on top of the sheet under the duvet, in the bathtub, and inside the refrigerator. It was surprising to see them in so many places as if they were intentionally left there. The hair inside the refrigerator made it unusable for me due to discomfort. Additionally, one bed's sheets had stains on them; both beds felt unpleasant enough that I ended up laying towels over them before use. This is a hotel I'd like to visit again in the future, so I kindly request improvements in cleaning standards.

    I expected it to be ...

    I expected it to be small, but it is indeed cramped. The toilet and bath are visible from the bedroom space. For the same price, Business Hotels around Sannomiya offer a better overall experience.

    First-time Accommodation

    It was my first time using this service. The Room was small but clean, and although I stayed for only one night, it was comfortable. The breakfast didn’t have an extensive variety, but it was sufficient. The nearby arcade street had casual shops, so I had no trouble finding dinner.

    A fun Hotel where you can choose Petit Bathclin.

    To avoid the crowds after watching a baseball game at Koshien, I reserved accommodation on the Kobe side. 【Highlights】 - Free drinks are available in the lobby until around 10 PM. You can also enjoy them after breakfast in the morning. - You can choose from a variety of mini bath additives in the lobby. The colors are easy to identify and have a cute design! - The bath is unique and allows for half-body bathing! - Breakfast includes Kobe-style dishes, offering a satisfying lineup. - The main room lighting is operated by remote control, which took some time to figure out... - The remote control photo during reservation makes sense now! Although it’s a bit far from Koshien Stadium, it’s convenient for sightseeing in Kobe the next day as it’s close to the station.

    The cleanliness of the room exceeded expectations. I was surprised to find no mold at all in the bathroom of a hotel where the toilet and bath were separate. Although it was mentioned that the breakfast venue could get crowded, there were no lines, and everything went smoothly. It’s great that the front desk informs guests about potential crowding and approximate times in advance—it helps with time adjustments. I usually don’t choose plans with breakfast included, but this time there was an affordable plan with breakfast, making my stay very satisfying. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Stay in May

    Although my stay was a while ago, I stayed here again in June after this visit. It’s such a comfortable Hotel that I think I’ll visit again. As someone who dislikes unit baths, this becomes my first choice when selecting a Hotel in Kobe, as it is more affordable than options near Sannomiya.

    This is my regular accommodation.

    During the Expo in Osaka, accommodation prices are extremely high, so I have been staying here regularly. The room and stay were completely fine, but something unusual happened during check-out. When I handed over the room key, the front desk staff called me by a different surname. Since neither the room number nor the key was incorrect, it was puzzling. As I had plenty of time before my next appointment and felt uneasy about it, I asked them to investigate thoroughly. It turned out that they had properly managed records and confirmed that I hadn’t checked out yet without me having to identify myself. After discussing with the front desk manager, we concluded that they likely forgot to record an upgrade given at check-in as a courtesy gesture. While such gestures are appreciated, proper management of rooms and users is essential as issues like damages can occur. The hotel is comfortable overall, and even though there was a mistake, the attitude of the front desk staff was sincere and commendable. Considering this price range and location with non-unit bath rooms being available is a major plus point for me—I will definitely visit again! Thank you!

    Excellent service, breakfast, and value for money.

    Check-in on 4/4 Arrived early and waited in the lobby. The staff prepared the room earlier than expected and even upgraded it. The front desk staff provided excellent service during check-in, check-out, and when borrowing items. Not just the front desk, but all staff members, including breakfast staff, displayed a high level of hospitality at this Hotel. The Room was compact but very clean with separate bath and toilet. There were plenty of outlets and a large desk, which was very satisfying. Tried the famous "Bokkake" as a rice bowl—it was so delicious that I had seconds even from the small side dish! Absolutely amazing! The eggs and rice were also of excellent quality—the eggs were rich without any odor, and the rice was cooked to be quite soft. All this for two people at just 10,000 yen... On our way to the Hotel, we got lost but received kind directions from a local gentleman and a taxi driver. Shinkaichi is such a warm town! Great value for money with many delicious-looking restaurants nearby. I'll definitely come back to Shinkaichi with my girlfriend!

    The Room was simple ...

    The Room was simple yet clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety with consistent taste. It was a reasonably priced and good Hotel among those in Osaka and Kobe. I would like to stay again.

    A Long-Awaited Trip to Kobe!

    Room, amenities, and bath were great. The bath was especially impressive. A triangular bath? It had two levels where you could sit and relax while soaking. Breakfast was smooth despite the notice about many student travelers, and the content was good. I will visit again.

    The mattress is excellent.

    According to locals in Kobe, the location is quite deep, but the Hotel itself is comfortable. The mattress was excellent and helped relieve travel fatigue. I got curious about the "bokkake" served at breakfast, so I signed up for it in the morning and enjoyed it. It was indeed filling on its own. After all, travel Reservations are best with IKYU!

    The location is close to Shinkaichi Station, and while it's near the shopping street, it's a quiet place. The breakfast was also satisfying. All the staff members were very kind, and I had a pleasant stay at the Property.

    Shinkaichi

    I thought it would be more enjoyable to stay around Shinkaichi, which has the scent of old Kobe, rather than staying around Sannomiya, and while looking for a place to stay at a very reasonable price, I found this hotel. There was some construction work going on in the neighboring building, so it was a bit noisy during the day, but the inside of the hotel was clean and very comfortable. The room layout was well thought out, making for a comfortable stay. I will consider this as an option again when staying in Kobe.

    Good hotel staff

    I arrived at night and relied on the neon lights to find my way. I had something I absolutely needed the day after my stay sent from home by courier and waited for it to arrive, but after checking the Yamato website, I saw a notice about delays due to construction on the Tomei Expressway, so I gave up and decided to go back to pick it up. While I was waiting for Yamato to arrive, the staff was very concerned and I was grateful for their support. For the identity verification required for the theater, they accepted other forms at the counter, and although I was about 30 minutes late, it worked out somehow. It was good to have breakfast included, great value for money. It's the Sunroute Kobe Sopra Anessa.

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed for the meeting the next day. Although I arrived late, I was warmly welcomed. I am grateful for the upgrade to the ladies' room. The shower head is above the ReFa, and there is also a hair iron and skincare steam, which lifts my spirits. The bed is large with good springs, and there are pillows to choose from, so I rested well. The bath with a washing area, although small, was sufficient for someone petite like me. It is also close to the station, offering excellent value for money. I am looking forward to my stay next month as I have already completed the reservation.
