A comfortable Hotel where you can relax and enjoy a leisurely stay in a universal room!

The property was comfortable even for a wheelchair user, so we were able to enjoy our family trip stress-free. Thank you for your kind support, including parking right in front of the entrance and providing amenities such as a shower chair. At breakfast, we were warmly greeted with “Good morning” and guided to our seats with a smile; everything was delicious and very satisfying—fresh vegetables, firm momen tofu with a rich soybean flavor, miso from a long-established local producer, thick-cut bacon, curry, and more. There are also Rooms with a train view, which railway fans will love. We’re glad we could stay again this summer as well, marking the 20th anniversary of Hokuto City and the 10th anniversary of the Hokkaido Shinkansen!

It was my first time staying here, and it was very comfortable.

I stayed here for the first time on a Saturday in June 2026. I needed a Hotel for an overnight stay so I could take my car on the Tsugaru Strait Ferry early the next morning, and chose this Hotel near Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station. The Hotel parking lot is first-come, first-served with 14 spaces, but it was hard to find at first. After looking around, I found it behind the building when viewed from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station. I arrived before 5:00 p.m., but cones were placed in the open spaces so I couldn’t park there, and instead used a nearby self-parking multi-story municipal garage. The Hotel front desk is not on the first floor, so you need to take the elevator up. I stayed in a Standard Twin Room. There was one window with a view of the Hokkaido Shinkansen. By the window there was a round table and two chairs. Since this is a Hotel with natural Onsen baths, I didn’t use the unit bath in my Room. The Onsen is on the same floor as reception, and there are also vending machines. I left at 5:30 a.m. the next morning and had a comfortable stay. It’s also relatively close to Hakodate Ferry Terminal, so I’m glad I chose this place. Thank you very much.

The Business Hotel room was spacious enough, and I had no particular complaints. Breakfast was delicious!!

    Third stay

Arrived on the Hokkaido Shinkansen around 9:45 p.m. Both the station shop and convenience store were closed. Since this was my third stay, I had prepared what I needed in advance. However, as was the case for me before, it must be extremely inconvenient for first-time guests. If this situation cannot be helped, could you at least extend the opening hours of your Hotel’s restaurants or enhance the selection at your shop? The large public bath also closes at 11:00 p.m. After checking in, organizing luggage, and taking a short break, there isn’t enough time to make it. I sincerely hope these points will be improved. A word about amenities as well: there is little variety, and what is provided feels cheap. There are no single-use basic skincare items either. I was grateful to stay at a very low rate right after Golden Week, but during Golden Week the Accommodation Fee is more than three times higher. In that case, I believe the amenities also need to be reconsidered. With a large public bath and spacious Room(s), it is a good Facility for a business Hotel—which is exactly why I hope to see improvements.

    We always enjoy staying here.

I always stay here when traveling to Hokkaido by Shinkansen. It’s right by the station, has a large Onsen bath, and because there isn’t much around the station, it doesn’t get too crowded—making it very comfortable. The Hakodate milk at breakfast, the milk pudding, and the Aomori apple jelly are all delicious. Whenever I see ingredients from Hakodate or Aomori, I can’t help but try them. The rice is also excellent. This time my Room had a parking-lot view, but I could also see the railway tracks and mountains, which was enjoyable.

    A secluded hideaway?

I stayed here because I arrived in Hokkaido late at night by Shinkansen. However, there is nothing around the Hotel, and even the convenience store closes at 8:00 PM, so it was difficult to find dinner. Breakfast didn’t have many options—especially dishes kids would enjoy—and I was also hoping for more seafood. It’s very convenient since it’s right near the station.

Conveniently located near the station, perfect for repeat stays.

Used after several years. The location is perfect for taking the Shinkansen in the morning, so I chose to stay here again. The Room was a double room used as a single, making it quite spacious. Although it was a train-view side room, being on a lower floor meant I couldn't see the Shinkansen coming and going, which was disappointing. Breakfast is buffet-style with plenty of satisfying options (though there are no items like sashimi found in tourist destinations). One of the reasons I chose this place is because of the large public bath; however, this time the water temperature was slightly lukewarm, which was unfortunate. The outdoor bath? Or rather an open-air bath where you can enjoy fresh air, feels nice but also had lukewarm water—disappointing again. After bathing, you can head straight to the 2nd-floor restaurant for a drink—highly recommended! The "light drink set" comes with enough snacks even if you order another draft beer. If using an early-morning Shinkansen again, I would definitely stay here once more!

    Noisy Bath

The check-in location of the Hotel is a bit hard to find, but it is right in front of the station, making it very convenient. The Room was spacious and clean, leaving nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, I ended up sharing the bath with foreign guests who spoke loudly in an incomprehensible language, and I had to endure 15 minutes without being able to complain. I was satisfied as I could relax in the Onsen late at night. The salt ramen was delicious.

    Would love to visit again.

I stayed here after arriving late by Shinkansen. The location is very convenient as it’s close to the station, though the shops in and around the station were already closed. Thankfully, the Hotel restaurant was open. The menu only had ramen, but with various toppings available, it was delicious. The elevator requires scanning your room key to operate, which felt secure. I chose a random room type and got one with tatami flooring—it was spacious and comfortable. It’s a simple yet very cozy Hotel. It’s also close to Hakodate, so I’d love to stay here again when traveling to Hokkaido by Shinkansen!

The hotel is conveniently located near the station.

I stayed at this Hotel to catch the first Shinkansen in the morning. As a Business Hotel, it was very satisfying. It was so comfortable that I felt it has the potential to go beyond being just a Business Hotel and become something extraordinary. The miso ramen I had at the restaurant on the right side of the check-in area was very delicious. Thank you very much!

    The elevator is slow.

A clean hotel conveniently located near the station. I was worried about reaching Hakodate as I arrived on a late-night Shinkansen, so I looked for accommodation in Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. The two elevators were very slow and never seemed to be on the floor I needed, which was quite inconvenient. It would be nice if hotels with slow elevators at least allowed access to stairs.

    The breakfast is delicious.

This is my second stay. I stayed for one night last time and found the breakfast to be very delicious, so I decided to use this hotel again. This time, I stayed for two nights and was pleased to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with slightly different menu options on the first and second days. The onsen was also clean and relaxing, making it a very pleasant experience.

    Breakfast is delicious.

The facility is relatively new, with an Onsen and spacious rooms, leaving no complaints as a Business Hotel. As it is a Shinkansen station hotel located in the middle of fields, there are no convenience stores or izakayas within walking distance. Although there is a convenience store on the first floor, meals were sold out, which made dinner challenging. Breakfast was very delicious.

    Conveniently located near the station.

I stayed with my beloved dog. The proximity to the station and the fact that the Onsen was not crowded allowed us to relax. The Room was spacious and nice. I was pleased that we could bring our dog to breakfast and they even lent us a cart for the dog. (The woman who lent it to us was kind and made me feel at ease.) What concerned me was that the reception staff did not seem to smile or show kindness during both check-in and check-out. The walls of the Room were dirty around the foot area. The toilet walls were also jagged... I don't think it's a Hotel that's been around for many years, but... When entering the Room, the entrance area is spacious, so it would be nice to have a counter to place luggage or trunks, which is a bit inconvenient. The windows and mirrors in the Onsen were dull, which was disappointing. During the morning bath, the water in the water server was out (someone else mentioned it was the same yesterday morning). When leaving, they were sorting linens in the elevator hall, and the dust was overwhelming as they were banging them. Can't they do it somewhere else? I've written a lot, but if I could feel the hospitality, I would like to stay again.

I think it's a hidden gem for Stays in Hakodate.

I stayed for the first time. When going to Hakodate, it's just one train from the station next to the Hotel. If you can't find a hotel in Hakodate, this is a good cost-performance option and recommended. The breakfast buffet lacks Hokkaido characteristics, so it doesn't feel like you've come to Hokkaido. If you only care about having a place to sleep, the Hotel has a large public bath and is comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality.
