    Cleanliness

    The front desk service was good, and the Room was clean. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and both were clean. The bed was a bit too soft for me. Other than that, I was satisfied.

    Great value for money and incredibly comfortable!

    Last autumn, my wife (73) and I (75) both underwent surgery, and we were completely exhausted both physically and mentally. After the New Year, once things finally settled down, we planned an easy one-night trip nearby to relax. I always use IKYU to book travel, and after searching with various criteria, I found a reasonably priced Hotel with excellent Reviews. That was Hotel Green Core Bando, where we stayed this time. And the result... it truly was a wonderful Hotel just as the ratings suggested. The staff were very attentive, and the Room was impeccably clean. We stayed in a twin Room; it felt more spacious than expected, and the bathroom with a separate washing area was fantastic. Amenities are brought in by guests at check-in as needed, which I think is efficient and waste-free. And breakfast the next morning... simple but perfectly well-balanced selection—just as its reputation promised. I was surprised to see stewed offal on the breakfast menu, but it was outstanding. And of course—this is Ibaraki—natto was delicious too. It seems this Hotel does not serve dinner, but there are surprisingly many restaurants nearby; the izakaya we visited this time was excellent as well. Around the Hotel there are also many shops such as Japanese confectionery stores, pickle shops, and soba restaurants—and there’s even a supermarket right close by. The local people were down-to-earth and friendly, and without exception everything we ate was delicious. This time it was only one night, but there are many historical sights related to Taira no Masakado as well as numerous shrines—far too much to cover in just one night. Next time we would like to stay for two or three nights and enjoy traveling at a slower pace. Thank you very much for everything.

    Could you please accommodate a request for breakfast...?

    I have occasionally stayed on weekdays since this spring for work-related purposes. The staff are kind, the rooms are clean, and overall I am satisfied. However, during my recent stay, I noticed that although breakfast is supposed to be available until 8:30 AM, when I went at 8:00 AM, some dishes (such as fish) were already unavailable. Shortly after, a female staff member started cleaning up. Since other guests came to the dining area after me as well, it was a bit concerning. It would be appreciated if staff could monitor the situation during open hours and replenish even a minimal amount of food when necessary.

    This is a reliable Property.

    The Hotel is very convenient as it is close to the company. The rooms are clean and the amenities are well-equipped. I didn't have breakfast this time because I had an early morning, but next time I would definitely like to try it. The customer service has a homely feel and creates a good atmosphere. I am satisfied with my stay this time as well.

    This is the Hotel I use every time.

    I often use this Hotel. The staff's response was good, and the room was clean. Although it's close to the company, it became a space where I could relax. I made a slightly unreasonable request, but I am grateful for the smiling response. The breakfast eggs are excellent, and I go there for them. No matter how many times I eat them, I never get tired of them. I would like to stay again when I am in the area. I am grateful to the Hotel staff for allowing me to have a relaxing stay.

    Use of the Baby First Room

    We stayed for one night in a flat room that accommodates babies, as mentioned in the plan. We chose this place because other hotels have beds that pose a risk of falling, and ryokans often lack in-room refrigerators and bathrooms. However, despite being labeled as baby-first, there were no children's dishes available at breakfast, and when we requested a straw, we were given a long type meant for PET bottles, which we had to cut to fit our child. There was a child seat, but it wasn't very clean. Although you might think there's no risk of falling in a flat room, you need to be careful as there's a step up from the entrance. The flooring creaked in some areas, and despite reviews mentioning cleanliness, there was dust left in various places. Despite the heat, the refrigerator was very weak, and there were no women's amenities (such as lotion). The entrance light is motion-sensor activated, which is quite annoying. The two positives were that the bath was separate and the delivery service was well-equipped. I don't think the facilities and services are very good. I wrote this to prevent families with children from being unprepared and facing inconvenience. The front desk service is good, which is truly a shame. Although prioritizing safety led to many complaints, I think it would be sufficient for a solo stay.
