    The spa was excellent.

    I stayed for one night while sightseeing. I could see the Tateyama Mountain Range from my Room. Breakfast was buffet-style, with local dishes, which was great. The bread was surprisingly delicious. The spa is state-of-the-art, and considering that the Accommodation Fee includes both the spa and the buffet, it feels like a good value. Not only were there works by Takashi Murakami and various other artists, but the Hotel staff were also kind. I’d like to visit again.

    This is an excellent Hotel.

    I stayed the night before a half marathon with a No Meals Included plan. It was an impressive city Hotel not too far from the station. There is a large public bath on an upper floor with a beautiful night view. However, since there are only 2–3 washing stations, it’s best to check how crowded it is in advance. Along with the sauna, there is also a lukewarm bath, which is very relaxing. The room felt slightly dated, and there were minor issues such as a poorly fitted door meant to soundproof the refrigerator and peeling paint on the bathroom door, but nothing unpleasant, and everything was kept clean. It’s also close to Ariso Dome, the marathon venue, so I recommend it.

    Old Hotel

    Stayed for the first time in an 8th-floor suite for two nights. The facility is old, and the refrigerator barely cools. However, the room is spacious, and the heating works well. The public bath has three washing stations in the men's area and only two in the women's area. The bathroom in the room felt like a unit bath without a separate washing area. The snowy scenery was beautiful. Whether I would stay again would require considerable thought.

    Last Spa

    Stayed for the spa. The result was amazing. The spa is great, but the room is also excellent. After the spa, I relaxed on the large single sofa in the room and enjoyed the lingering feeling. Completely satisfied.

    I use it almost every month.

    The sauna-focused large public bath exceeds the standards of regional hotels. In fact, the water quality and scenery are truly unique to this area. However, we kindly request proper maintenance of the hair dryers in the changing room of the public bath. As is often the case with public baths, all dryer filters are clogged, resulting in low airflow despite loud noise.

    Uozu is the best!!

    The view from the large public bath was spectacular! From the sea side, you can enjoy the sunset over the Sea of Japan, and from the mountain side, you can admire the grandeur of the Tateyama Mountain Range—some of the best views in Toyama. The breakfast buffet included local specialties like marinated swordfish (kobujime), which were delicious. Nearby attractions such as Umi-no-Eki/Shinkirou and tasty trout sushi shops allowed us to fully enjoy Uozu!

    Hotel Grand Mirage

    Breakfast and the service were fine. The much-advertised bath (sauna) was smaller than expected. The bathing area seems to switch between men and women by day, but the one I used had only two washing stations, which was inconvenient.

    It was a suite room,...

    It was a suite room, but the sofa was stained and smelled of sweat and body oils, making it impossible to relax. When I turned on the air purifier, an astonishing amount of dust rose up, making me regret turning it on. The water was said to be drinkable as it was drawn from the mountains, but the bathroom was visibly unclean, and I had no desire to drink it. The bed was too hard, and I couldn't sleep well. The spa was nothing special either. The breakfast and dinner buffets had nothing delicious, and I only regret spending money in vain. I don't think this is a Hotel that should be listed on IKYU.com.

    Stay at Grand Mirage after a long time

    The spa was newly opened in April this year, adding more enjoyment to our stay. We used it four times during our two-night stay. There are hours reserved exclusively for guests, allowing us to fully enjoy the sauna at a leisurely pace. The ReFa shower head was amazing, and I've decided to buy one for myself next time. I didn't have breakfast, but the individual herbal hot pot for dinner was delicious, with a gentle broth and plenty of vegetables. It's only available on Monday to Wednesday nights, so please be careful not to miss it. I look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you for taking care of us.
