    It was comfortable.

    The staff at the front desk, in the lobby, and at the breakfast venue were kind and pleasant. However, after my stay, the update of my stay history on the website was slow, so I could not issue a Receipt smoothly.

    Satisfied.

    I usually end up drinking too much in Kochi and never get to fully enjoy what Dormy Inn has to offer, but this time I left the party early and was able to enjoy both the ramen and the sauna. Breakfast was consistently high quality as always. Choosing Dormy Inn this time was the right decision. The direct access to the convenience store on the 1st floor was also very convenient.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night while sightseeing in Kochi. I like Dormy Inn Hotel for its Onsen, late-night soba, and ice cream after bathing. During this stay in Kochi, the breakfast was especially delicious. The seared bonito and whitebait were great, and the dessert pudding was outstanding.

    I was disappointed because the room was not cleaned thoroughly.

    I stayed for one night on April 21, 2026. I checked in, and the moment I entered the Room, I was shocked. - Used cleaning towels were left on the desk. - Both cups by the sink were soaking wet. I immediately took the towels to the front desk and explained what had happened. They apologized on the spot and offered to change my Room or replace the cups, but I declined because I didn’t feel like repacking my belongings just to move Rooms. At checkout, a female front desk staff member said, “We are very sorry,” but when I asked, “Even if it’s only partial, is any kind of refund possible after something like this?” her response felt extremely cold. A refund isn’t necessary, but her attitude didn’t feel like that of Hotel staff. (I understand she may have felt it wasn’t her mistake but housekeeping’s; however, a Hotel’s image is shaped by how the front desk responds.) I believe there are many cheaper Hotels with better quality. Paying over 10,000 yen for this was disappointing—especially since I used to work at a Hotel—so it ended up being a rather disappointing trip for me.

    Convenient and just right

    Obiyamachi is close by—perfect for a stroll when you have a little time. After staying here a few times, you’ll find plenty of great places to eat nearby. A FamilyMart is right next door. The bath water is excellent, and the sauna is satisfying.

    You won’t be disappointed.

    As expected, Dormy Inn is the best. The Room was clean and easy to use, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The amenities are minimal but thoughtfully prepared so you can use what you need where you need it, which I really appreciated. The bath was more spacious than I expected, and the water quality was excellent—I felt truly relaxed. If I had to mention one thing, I would have liked more outside air in the open-air side bath. One of the best parts of an open-air or semi-open-air bath is keeping your head cool while your body stays warm in the water. That said, they had fans running and clearly put a lot of thought into it—very impressive. I will definitely stay again. Additional note: At check-in, some overseas guests were speaking very loudly in the lobby, and I couldn’t hear what the front desk staff were saying… This isn’t something caused by the Hotel, but it was honestly very unpleasant.

    Smell of tobacco

    I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room had a strong smell of cigarettes. The hallway on the same floor also smelled very bad and was unpleasant.

    Adjacent to the shopping street, enjoy both late-night snacks and breakfast to your heart's content.

    Conveniently located next to a shopping street with a convenience store on the first floor. The large public bath is comfortable if you avoid peak hours. It's delightful to have complimentary ice cream and "Yonaki Soba" after bathing. The "Yonaki Soba" was delicious, and the restaurant staff who prepared it were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was 2,000 yen and included local specialties like seared bonito, which was highly satisfying. Being in the city center, there were days when the nearest affiliated (discounted) parking lot was full, but we managed to park at a large underground parking lot near Toyo Denka Chuo Park for 800 yen per night, which was convenient due to its proximity to the accommodation.

    Perfect.

    The large public bath is available with almost no time restrictions, and the sauna even has a TV. Having only a shower booth in the guest rooms makes sense since there is a large public bath. The location, convenience store on-site, dining options, and automated check-in/out process were all perfect.

    Convenience store ad...

    Convenience store adjacent, close to Hirome Market, excellent location. The public bath is not large but you can check the congestion status from your Room and go during less crowded times. The public bath helped relieve my fatigue. Breakfast was delicious. When borrowing an air purifier and umbrella, the staff provided excellent service. The café across the street was also great, and I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Start your day with a refreshing morning bath and feel your daily stress melt away. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff provided kind and attentive service.

    It was comfortable.

    The parking lot is nearby, and not only is there a convenience store, but also a shopping street right next to it, making it very convenient to go anywhere. Hirome Market, Kochi Castle, and Harimaya Bridge are all within walking distance for sightseeing. And when you're tired from walking, the Onsen is perfect. The night ramen was also delicious.

    Stay here when visiting Kochi!

    First trip to Kochi. Conveniently located near Hirome Market, adjacent to a convenience store, and accessible without an umbrella. Dormy Inn is known for its relaxing baths and amazing sauna—both are fantastic! The reception staff is polite and flawless! This will definitely be my go-to accommodation for Kochi trips.

    A Slightly Disappointing Dormy Inn

    Dormy Inn is my favorite accommodation, and I use it in various locations across the whole country. However, Dormy Inn Kochi was a disappointing experience. First, the public bath is small—less than half the size of other Dormy Inns (?). The outdoor bath also leaves doubts about whether it can truly be called an outdoor bath. Next, compared to other Dormy Inns, the breakfast selection is limited, and there are only minimal amounts of local specialty ingredients that Dormy Inn usually excels at offering. Since I believe the main selling points of Dormy Inn are its excellent public baths and breakfasts, this was quite disappointing. Other aspects were not significantly different from other Dormy Inns; compared to other business hotels, it’s still relatively good...

    I used it for a business trip. It was my first time in Kochi, but the location was relatively easy to find, and I received information about nearby dining options (with Discount Coupon). After checking out and arriving at my next destination in Kansai, I realized I had forgotten something (left clothes in the laundry room dryer). When I called in a panic, even though it was late at night, they kindly responded and sent it to my home cash on delivery. It was very helpful, and I'm grateful for their warm response!     Dormy Inn is simply the best.

    Dormy Inn located in the middle of Obiyamachi shopping street. For lunch or dinner, you can take a short walk to Hirome Market, or there are plenty of other dining options in the shopping street. With convenience stores and supermarkets available, you'll have everything you need. The Onsen and sauna, along with post-bath services, are as excellent as always. The only slight downside might be the limited selection of manga.

    Dormy Inn offers affordable yet reliable accommodations. The hot spring and the complimentary night ramen were excellent. It was a very pleasant stay. However, there was a squeaking noise coming from the air conditioner's fan, and despite trying various things, it persisted throughout the night. It was room 1014. Please have it fixed.
