  It might be pretty good.

  It might be the perfect base for getting around. It’s not the best value for money, but even taking that into account, I think it deserves a high rating. Breakfast only offered Matsuyama-style sea bream rice; it would have been nice to have more options.

As for the guest rooms, due to the building structure and location, it may be difficult to improve room size or views.   What’s the difference between managers?

  Even though it was the same Dormy Inn brand, it felt surprisingly different from the Dormy Inn I stayed at previously in Shizuoka Prefecture.

  How about this?

  I rarely stay at a Business Hotel, but this time I stayed here for a competition in Matsuyama. It was a complete disappointment. This was my own oversight, but the Room did not have a bathtub—only a small shower. Some guests may stay here for the Onsen, but could something be done about the slippery chairs? I paid 38,000 yen and was assigned to the 2nd floor. I knew it would be small, but it was still very disappointing. The only saving grace was being able to park in the Hotel parking lot. Not having to walk with luggage really helped. However, there was someone at the parking area who offered no friendliness or even a greeting. My partner tried speaking to them and was ignored, which left us feeling unpleasant, so they asked me to write it in this Review. If that is the first person you meet when staying here, doesn’t it leave far too bad an impression? On the other hand, the man working efficiently in front of the front desk guided us politely with a smile.

  A reliably great choice: Dormy Inn

  As always, Dormy Inn is reliably excellent, with great baths and a great breakfast. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. Since it is adjacent to the Okaido shopping arcade, I think it’s a convenient location for sightseeing. There are many restaurants nearby, but my personal recommendation is the food court on the first floor of Mitsukoshi.

  First Stay

  The room was clean and not very spacious, but the bed was comfortable. Since there is an Onsen facility, the room only had a shower, which I found reasonable without a private bath. It would be nice if the bath area were a bit larger; it felt slightly cramped when crowded.

  Thanks to just one person...

  Dormy Inn is my favorite hotel, and I always choose it whenever available at my travel destination. I love the natural Onsen, post-bath services, and the complimentary late-night ramen. However, during my stay in Matsuyama this time, I had a disappointing experience. Due to travel fatigue, I fell asleep early and missed the late-night ramen service time. When I requested "Gomen-nasai" ramen around 11:30 PM at the front desk, the staff responded with an unpleasant attitude as if it was a hassle. Moreover, they asked for my room number and name in a way that made me feel like a suspect of something—it was very uncomfortable. I've stayed at Dormy Inn locations in Kochi, Takamatsu, and Kobe before where they always provided this service with a smile and kindness; so honestly, this experience was shocking. If I visit Matsuyama again for another trip, I might hesitate to stay here again.

  The food is delicious, and the open-air bath is exceptional.

  Relax your body in the sauna and cold bath, then enjoy the open-air bath. Since it was late at night, I had it all to myself and could take my time to fully unwind. The portion of the nighttime ramen was just right. Breakfast is also something to look forward to. Local specialties are well-prepared, ensuring satisfaction wherever you go. I look forward to staying here again!

  The bath and facility were great, but the service could be improved.

  The hotel had a great location and well-equipped facilities, providing a high level of satisfaction. Having natural Onsen in a city hotel was also a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was crowded even early in the morning. Unfortunately, one less experienced staff member seemed unaware of obstructing guests' movements and bumped into my tray without saying anything, which was disappointing. However, the breakfast menu was abundant and delicious, so that was the only downside.

  The bath is excellent.

  Stayed as a couple in late July 2025, both in our 60s. The bath facilities were exceptional. The sauna, open-air bath, and cold bath were all spacious and very enjoyable.

  The Room is clean and conveniently located.

  I stayed with my daughter and had a wonderful experience. Apart from the parking being a bit far, it was an excellent Hotel. The Room was clean and spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The Onsen included an open-air bath and was larger than expected, allowing for a comfortable soak. For breakfast, there was a Uwajima sea bream rice set, and the side dishes served in small bowls were thoughtfully arranged for easy access. The taste was delicious, making our stay very satisfying.   Reliable Dormy Inn

  Stable Dormy Inn quality. The Room's TV did not support YouTube, so I deducted one star. The breakfast buffet had slightly fewer options, but the taste was excellent and satisfying. The Onsen made my skin smooth and felt very relaxing. Definitely planning to return!

  Convenient for sightseeing

  I had a pleasant stay at the clean Hotel. The flexible response at check-in was very helpful. I was warmed by the smiles of the front desk staff and the restaurant staff. I fell in love with Kagawa Prefecture on my first trip to Shikoku.

  Good bath, good room, good food.

  I stayed for one night. First, the Hotel is very clean. The Room is the same, and it was very comfortable. The large public bath is also very pleasant. I had breakfast, and the menu was abundant with ingredients from Matsuyama, such as tai-meshi, and it was very delicious. The services, such as night soba and free ice cream, are excellent, and I would definitely like to use this Hotel again.

  Overall, it was very good.

  Overall, it was really great. The bath and facilities were excellent. The only disappointment was that there was a time when the bath was too crowded to enter. To alleviate the congestion, we would appreciate it if you could ask group guests to disperse.
