    The location is excellent.

    Located right in the heart of Akasaka, I was able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience for dining or daily needs. The building is old, but it has been nicely renovated so it didn’t bother me. The lack of an auto-lock entrance may require some caution. The washing machine is very useful for guests on a Multiple Night Stay.

    The location is excellent, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. Here are some negative points: - The water pressure in the shower is too weak. - There is a sink but no counter to place items. - Noise from outside and the hallway can be heard clearly. - Especially, drunken voices from outside were loud until late at night, making it difficult to sleep.

    Comfortable for families with children

    I made a last-minute Reservation to attend the Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival. Traveling with a 2-year-old can be challenging without a spacious bed, but it was excellent! The Room was just the right size, with plenty of space to open our luggage. The shaved ice corner next to the reception made my child very happy and was a great help! I would love to stay here again.

    Special services?

    We stayed in a Family Twin Room (Annex) for 5 people. The room included two double beds, one bunk bed, and a sofa bed. Apologies for the lengthy review, but this might be helpful for those booking with a large group. Based on the description stating "For 1-4 guests: Two double beds provided" and "For 5-7 guests: Extra beds will be arranged," I assumed there would be five separate sleeping spaces including the bunk bed and sofa bed. However, upon arrival, one of the double beds was set up for two people to share. When I inquired about this, I was told that an additional fee of 3,400 yen (at the time of writing) would apply to use all five sleeping spaces. What confused me further was being told that "normally only one side of the bunk bed is prepared per person; however, as a special service this time both upper and lower bunks were made available." The idea that it’s considered a “special service” to prepare one double bed for single use while another is shared by two people—and then charge extra for using the sofa bed—was honestly baffling. Since we were tired from traveling, we reluctantly paid the additional fee; however, I felt dissatisfied with how unclear this information was on the reservation page and decided to leave this review. (It would have been helpful if additional fees were clearly stated.) On a positive note, during check-in we were kindly escorted to our annex room by staff members who showed great attention to detail. Additionally—whether part of their “special service” or not—there were bottled waters provided for each guest in our room. For these reasons alone, I’ve given two stars. As an aside: Offering vague explanations like “special service” during complaints could potentially aggravate some customers further—it certainly did in my case when reflecting back on it later! While they did remake our bedding without issue after my complaint at check-in, clearer communication at checkout or elsewhere might have prevented me from feeling compelled to write such feedback altogether.

    Terrace with Kitchen

    A compact Room, not spacious or luxurious, but well-organized and very convenient. It was excellent. The large terrace allowed for a relaxing time. I would love to stay again.

    The shower water is.

    It was a Room with only a shower. The shower felt like it was from a Hotel in a developing country's provincial city, with just a trickle even at maximum. Furthermore, the temperature didn't rise at all, making it a condition where you might catch a cold after taking a shower.

    Nothing noteworthy.

    I was guided to the adjacent annex at the reception. The Room was relatively new, but the view from the window was just the wall of a building, which felt oppressive. When I used it a long time ago, it was less than half the price this time, and I feel the recent surge in Hotel prices. I don't have any particular complaints, but there wasn't anything particularly good either.
