    Spacious free parking lot

    I looked for a Hotel near the event venue and made a Reservation. I like Vessel Hotel because the Rooms are spacious, and free parking is also a big plus. There are many Hotels around Hakata Station and Nakasu, but I was drawn by the great value for money. The front desk staff member was also kind and pleasant. (However, as I walked by, I wondered whether the towel storage boxes in the hallway could be a safety hazard in an emergency.)

    Breakfast was satisfying and included some local dishes. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

    It exceeded my expectations.

    I was in Fukuoka with my daughters, and each of us had our own plans. We searched for a place where the three of us could stay together, with free parking and reasonable rates, and decided on Vessel Fukuoka Kaizuka. We really appreciated their hospitality. My daughters were happy and said it was the best Business Hotel they’ve stayed at so far. The Room was clean. Plenty of power outlets. A separate washbasin area apart from the bath/toilet. You can see outside through the window. A good selection of amenities. Two trash bins. Shoes-off indoors. They were really excited about all of that.

    Business Hotel in a Regional U.S. City

    This Facility feels like a chain Business Hotel in a regional city in the United States. The Hotel corridors have low ceilings and feel bland, with no particular design touches in the lighting—just doors lined up one after another. However, the Room is relatively spacious. Compared with other chain Business Hotels in the same class, it doesn’t feel cramped, and you can spend your time comfortably. There was no unpleasant smell in the Room, and it seemed to be properly cleaned. The bathroom is a unit bath with the bathtub and toilet together. The sink is not inside the unit bath; it is separate on the Room side, which is convenient. The ceiling seems thin, and I could hear footsteps from the Room above quite clearly. You can also easily hear footsteps and conversations from the corridor, so if you are sensitive to noise, there’s a high chance you may have trouble sleeping. Breakfast is average. Since it’s a Business Hotel, you can’t expect great taste given the cost constraints. There isn’t a wide selection, and I wouldn’t particularly recommend it for flavor, but it’s not terrible either. The Hotel staff were very polite and left a good impression.

    We happened to visit over a three-day holiday weekend, and everywhere was fully booked—there was no way to get two Rooms for four adults. In the end, we took a chance and managed to book one Room for four adults. With two double beds plus one extra bed, it’s a great setup for families with children. For four adults, though, it honestly feels cramped. It’s the typical recent Business Hotel style where you pick up only the amenities you need from in front of the front desk. At check-in, there seemed to be too few staff for the size of the Hotel, so it felt like we had to wait quite a while. There were also some international guests. In addition to the Room rate, you pay an Accommodation Tax (tourist tax) separately. The welcome drinks had a very family-friendly selection—on par with a karaoke drink bar—for both kids and adults. It’s about 30–40 minutes by train from the airport. If you’re looking for dinner after arriving at the Hotel, there were a couple of places right next door, but it would be nice if there were a dining map of nearby options around the Hotel. There’s also coin laundry on site; if I’m being picky, having a large public bath would have been great for relaxing tired legs after sightseeing. For breakfast, we heard early morning is less crowded, so we got up at 6:00 and headed down. There were tons of delicious Kyushu specialties—tonkotsu ramen, udon, even baked curry. Excellent. We were more satisfied than eating out in town. That said, the layout isn’t very efficient: to make baked curry you have to get rice from one area first, then go back for curry and cheese. Maybe to secure seating space, but overall the buffet area feels tight and it’s hard to move around with a tray—everyone in our family felt that way. The food itself is outstanding; choosing No Meals Included would be such a waste, so I highly recommend adding breakfast. You can also get straight to Hakata Station by train easily—overall an Accommodation with very good access.

    Excellent value for money.

    It felt like excellent value for money. The Room was spacious, the necessary Facility amenities were in good condition, and the breakfast offered a wide variety, which was great. Also, this was my first stay, but the check-in staff were efficient and polite. The woman at reception had a friendly smile and made a great impression. Just one thing: the bathroom lighting was slightly dim, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was perfect.

    Good Accommodation Experience

    1. The hotel is located farther from Kaizuka Station and requires passing through a large children's park. 2. English communication is available. 3. There are two restaurants next to the hotel, including a famous tempura restaurant with long queues. 4. Twin rooms are spacious enough to open three suitcases, but the sink is located outside the bathroom. 5. Breakfast staff are very kind and assist families with children as well.
