    An excellent, reasonably priced Hotel with a private bathroom and toilet.

    As the title says. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, it’s great that the bathroom and toilet are separate. Breakfast is inexpensive, so there aren’t many side dishes—fair for the price and fine for a business trip. For leisure travel, you can also skip it and go out to eat whatever you like.

    The bathroom, toilet, and washbasin are arranged in a highly functional layout.

    We had a very comfortable stay. The Room we stayed in was the Comfort Extra Twin. Within its compact size, it features a bathroom with a washing area, a separate toilet, and a washbasin. Shoes are not allowed on the floor inside the Room. It was perfect for those who don’t need a large, luxurious Room and want to keep costs down, but still want to relax in the bath and use the toilet without feeling self-conscious. One small note: since there is only a curtain separating the beds from the washbasin area (i.e., the changing space), some guests may find it bothersome. For us, as a family traveling with small children, it didn’t bother us at all. Other nice perks included borrowing manga to read, an on-site coin laundry, welcome drinks, and good value benefits.

    Clean and conveniently located near the Shimanami Kaido.

    I chose this place because it’s close to the Shimanami Kaido. The room was clean, and there are places to eat nearby. The front desk staff were polite and helpful.

    Thank you very much.

    I checked in late and panicked because every parking lot was full, but considering the price and the Room, it felt only natural. The gentleman at the front desk carried himself with poise—on par with a luxury Hotel. Thank you. The Room was spacious and very clean, and the carefully selected bed gave me a great night’s sleep. Due to my schedule I didn’t have breakfast, but next time I’ll visit with an Onsen Plan. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Elevator noise.

    The Hotel was very clean overall, and the staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast did have a line, but it moved smoothly, refills were quick, and the food was delicious. However, when I tried to sleep, I could hear a deep low-frequency noise from somewhere—and it was fairly loud. It seemed to be the sound of the elevator operating, and it continued throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. Everything else was great, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    I chose this Hotel because I heard it had been renovated, and it was very clean. The amenities were also in great condition, which was nice. I didn’t use the bath because I went to the super sento across the street, but it looked very clean. It was my first time having a sink inside the Room, and it was convenient to be able to use it even when someone was using the toilet. As for meals, the dining area felt small and cramped overall. I would appreciate it if the food and seating could be arranged more spread out. There were many guests from the Middle East and Western countries (some with loud voices), so I couldn’t eat in a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, the grilled dish included with dinner was lukewarm and not very tasty. I felt a bit disappointed—if there were one or two microwaves available, it might have been much better. There are several parking areas; mine ended up being farther away, but I had no trouble parking. Considering how affordable it is, I would stay here again when traveling around Fukuyama.

    Separate bath and toilet, family-friendly, and the breakfast buffet could be brought to the Room, allowing children to eat comfortably. I would love to stay again.

    Thank you for your late same-day Reservation.

    I had to stay in Fukuyama unexpectedly, and since the check-in time was available until 26:00, I made a reservation without hesitation. I made the reservation on IKYU.com after 23:30, so the options were quite limited, but this hotel was the only one available, which was a great help. I checked in around 24:00 and appreciated the staffed reception at that hour. The room was spacious enough for three adults to relax comfortably. The unit bath inside the room was also sufficiently large, making it a convenient facility for families with small children. The separate bath and toilet were another highlight that added to its appeal. The breakfast buffet in the morning was lively with many international guests staying at the accommodation. There were plenty of dishes offered with a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, though it leaned more towards Japanese-style options. There were also desserts available, making it a satisfying meal overall. Despite being an unexpected stay, I felt it offered great value for money. This is definitely a hotel I would like to visit again!

    I don't understand...

    Children under 18, Child Sharing Existing Bedding, Free Breakfast I decided to stay because it seemed like a good deal. However, at check-in, even though the accommodation fee was already paid, I was charged only for my child's breakfast. The explanation paper provided also stated that children's breakfast was free. When I inquired about it, I was told that the policy had changed since August... Shouldn't such changes be announced in advance? That is the only thing I find unsatisfactory.

    I stayed in a Twin Room. The separate bath and toilet were very convenient, the room was spacious, and it had two double beds. It was clean and very comfortable to stay in.

    Comfort Extra Triple...

    Comfort Extra Triple Non-Smoking - Stayed with a family of four using the free Child Sharing Existing Bedding option for children under 18. The beds were large and very comfortable. There was also plenty of space besides the beds. The bathroom and toilet were separate, allowing us to enjoy a proper soak in the bathtub, which was excellent. There were supermarkets and dining options within walking distance, making it very convenient. After returning to the room, we enjoyed playing with borrowed UNO cards and Jenga, spending quality time as a family. Highly recommended!

    I usually don't write reviews, but this experience was truly exceptional. It was my first time staying at a Vessel Hotel, and I believe it's rare to find a hotel in this price range that offers everything you could want. I've stayed at hotels 20-30 nights per year for about 20 years, but this is the first time I've encountered such a high cost-performance ratio and satisfaction level. I assume the hotel genuinely considers what would make guests happy and what they are looking for. They probably also pay close attention to reviews for hints on improvement—otherwise, it would be impossible to create such a flawless hotel. Here are the highlights (things I wanted): ■ Spacious room ■ Large bed ■ Separate bath and toilet ■ Overall cleanliness ■ Free breakfast & option to take it back to your room ■ POLA shampoo, conditioner, body soap ■ Strong shower water pressure ■ Panasonic hair dryer ■ Air purifier ■ Large LCD TV with HDMI input (no need to connect behind the TV) ■ Skincare amenities like lotion and moisturizer available at the amenity bar (even men appreciate these!) ■ Welcome drinks available until 11 PM ■ Two-piece loungewear provided ■ Plenty of power outlets ■ Shoes-off style entryway in rooms ■ Thick towels ■ Additional towels available during multiple night stays (self-service) ■ Manga rental service This is already an incredible level of service, but if I may suggest improvements: - The salad at breakfast was mostly cabbage; it felt a bit plain. - It would be great if there were one standout dish or specialty item during breakfast. - The manga shelves were double-stacked; it was hard to see what books were in the back rows.

    Somehow it's nice.

    I visited with my spouse and a friend. The room was cleverly designed and felt very comfortable, just like my own room. We had a plan that included the public bath in front of the hotel, and that bath was very pleasant. The bath in the hotel, which felt like being at home, was also nice. You can go to the public bath empty-handed, but don't forget the 100 yen for the shoe locker that you'll get back later. I went empty-handed and had to return to get it, haha. The breakfast was also very delicious. It's not something flashy that makes you go "Wow!" but there's a subtle comfort to it. In other reviews, people mentioned that it meets all your needs... and that's exactly how it felt. I will definitely return without hesitation when I visit Fukuyama. Thank you for taking care of us.
