    We had a very comfortable stay.

    The Room was clean, the large public bath was relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious, making for a very comfortable stay.

    A very convenient Ho...

    A very convenient Hotel. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby, making it very handy. It would have been nice to have French fries for breakfast.

    It was great.

    We always use this place when returning home during the Obon season as a couple. We have stayed in both Sabae and Takefu locations, and both were very satisfying. The bath is clean, and the Room is spotless with no complaints. Some Rooms might feel a bit small for two people, but it was just right for us. Although we stayed in a smoking Room, there was no smell, and we had no inconvenience at all. However, on some floors, the hallways may have a tobacco smell which could be tough for those sensitive to it. There are convenience stores and drugstores nearby, so it's very convenient. We plan to continue using this place in the future!

    Towel Set Information

    I always use Route Inn for domestic travel. This time, my spouse and I each stayed in a twin room to relax, but each room only had one set of towels, which was disappointing. I have stayed alone at various Route Inns in western Japan, but Sabae was the only location where there was just one set of towels. My wife especially wanted two bath towels for washing her hair. I also felt the need for an extra towel for the large public bath. As I plan to stay in Sabae again next time, please provide two sets of towels even if I reserve a twin room for one person.

    Breakfast included.

    I stayed here to attend a live event at Sundome. I traveled by car, so I am unsure about the convenience for those using trains, but it was close when driving. The parking lot is spacious; however, on the day of my stay, it seemed fully booked. When I returned after dinner, there were no available parking spaces, so please be cautious about this. The room was clean and had amenities provided in the room rather than the recent front desk buffet-style system. Was there an option for multiple night stays? I didn’t use the bathroom in my room but opted for the large public bath instead. There were razors and cotton swabs available, but I don’t recall seeing toothbrushes or similar items. The locker system wasn’t present; instead, like traditional baths, you place your clothes in baskets on shelves. There are lockers for valuables near the bath entrance where you can store items like your key card securely. Since it’s only up to 5 floors high, there wasn’t much waiting time for elevators even during breakfast hours. Perhaps due to many guests staying here, we were asked to specify our breakfast time during check-in; however, it didn’t seem evenly distributed as intended since we still waited about 10 minutes during breakfast hours. Some tables meant for four people had only one person seated at them—perhaps improving table allocation could help with this issue a bit more efficiently? Recently I stayed at another Route Inn location where their menu felt more varied and better overall compared to here—but since breakfast is automatically included anyway—it’s still satisfactory enough! There’s also a convenience store and drugstore right across from this accommodation which makes sudden shopping needs very convenient!

    The timing was unfortunate.

    A group of students was staying, and it was unfortunate that their chatter and loud laughter could be heard at night. It was also regrettable that breakfast was crowded as we ended up at the same time as the group. Other than that, we were able to spend our time with the usual Route Inn quality, neither good nor bad.
