    We had a comfortable stay.

    This was my first stay at Vessel Hotel Inn Fukuyama Station North Exit, but Vessel Hotel is one of my favorite Hotels. I had another comfortable stay this time as well. The Room was clean, spacious, and very pleasant, and I was completely satisfied with the breakfast! The staff were kind and welcoming too. Fukuyama Castle as seen from the Room was wonderful both during the day and at night. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    A pleasant surprise: complimentary alcoholic drinks!

    I stayed at each Hotel near Fukuyama Station on business, and I was impressed by the complimentary soft drinks and complimentary alcohol service available to guests until 7:00 p.m. The front desk staff were also pleasant and helpful.

    I’m glad I could fully enjoy Fukuyama Castle’s cherry blossoms.

    I stayed during the cherry blossom festival and truly enjoyed the beautiful blossoms. From my room, I had a great view of the castle and cherry trees, and I had a very pleasant stay.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    Close to the station, and since the Room is a double, it was reasonably spacious. The staff and Facility were also good. Fukuyama Castle is nearby, and the illuminated view was beautiful, so I was almost completely satisfied.

    It was clean, and the view from the window—including Fukuyama Castle—was great. Breakfast was ¥1,400 and all-you-can-eat buffet style, which I was very satisfied with.

    Great location

    I had business near Fukuyama Station, so I chose this place for its location. It was very convenient as it is right in front of the station. The Room was spacious, and the view of the castle from the window was delightful. The bed was large, ensuring a comfortable sleep.

    Close to the station and the castle

    I made a last-minute reservation the day before with a room assigned by the hotel and breakfast included. The room, even as a single, was more spacious than expected, including the unit bath, and the bed was large and comfortable for relaxation. The location is excellent, right outside the north exit of the station with Fukuyama Castle next door. The services like welcome drinks were also great. I will definitely use this place again when visiting Fukuyama.

    Located right next to Fukuyama Castle and directly in front of the station, offering an excellent location. The Room was spacious and comfortable; however, interactions at the reception on the first floor during check-in, check-out, and other occasions were disappointing. Requests were not handled as asked, some were forgotten entirely, and even after the designated check-in time, we were told to wait. Shockingly, during check-out there was no one at reception despite repeated calls for assistance. The staff's service level was extremely poor with a noticeably young team lacking experienced personnel. The walls and ceilings seem thin as voices and sounds from adjacent Rooms or conversations in hallways or near elevators could be clearly heard inside the Room. Elevator operation noises were also audible within the Room, which might make it difficult for light sleepers to rest well at night.

    Convenient Hotel in Front of Fukuyama Station

    I often stay here during my business trips to Fukuyama. Located right in front of Fukuyama Station on the castle side, it offers a calm atmosphere and is in a very convenient location. The welcome bar, which was not available during my previous visit, allowed me to enjoy some drinks (including alcohol) before dinner when I had some free time. The amenities are well-stocked with everything you might need, including tea, which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet even includes sashimi, along with delicious curry and salads. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Fukuyama!

    Excellent value for money

    The room offers a beautiful view of Fukuyama Castle, giving you a full sense of being in Fukuyama. It is reasonably spacious, clean, and you can see the Shinkansen without any noise disturbance, ensuring a quiet stay. The breakfast is affordable yet satisfying with a variety of options. Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and soft drinks. The staff are very kind and seem exceptionally friendly. Thank you!

    Checked in much later than planned. After receiving an explanation and choosing amenities, the staff at the reception informed us that there was a vacant room available, so they upgraded us to a slightly larger room. We thanked them and headed to the room—it was indeed spacious! And to our surprise, we could see the castle from our room! Since we had given up on having a view due to budget constraints, this made our child very happy. Thanks to the hotel's kind gesture, it turned into a wonderful one-night stay. The bathtub was smaller than expected but clean with hardly any mold or dust—one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at so far. As for breakfast, as others have mentioned, it wasn’t too much or too little; the tuna was especially delicious. The breakfast area is slightly small, but if it gets full, staff will take reservations so you can wait in your room. On a side note, I noticed that one of the receptionists had a small flower (perhaps a rose?) badge on their suit collar—it looked very elegant. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuyama!

    Stayed for 2 nights....

    Stayed for 2 nights. Good value for money. It would have been nice to have pajamas for the second night as well. Other than that, I was mostly out of the Room, so can't comment much.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I had a Multiple Night Stay and enjoyed a clean and relaxing environment. However, it was slightly disappointing that when I received the welcome drink at night, there was almost no ice in the ice pail, and the ice tongs were lying in the melted ice water. This thoughtful service ended up giving an impression of carelessness instead.

    The front desk staff provided excellent service.

    For my first stay in Fukuyama, I chose this accommodation based on reviews from IKYU.com. After a day of sightseeing, I arrived at the hotel exhausted but was comforted by the smile of the male staff member during check-in. The hotel is conveniently located near Fukuyama Station, and I was delighted with the view of the illuminated Fukuyama Castle from my room. Breakfast featured locally sourced ingredients and was truly delicious. Staff announced when items like milk or dishes were replenished, which was very thoughtful. The cleaning staff also greeted me politely, leaving a positive impression. The atmosphere wasn’t overly formal, which made it even more relaxing. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Fukuyama!

    Rose Park

    I previously stayed at a hotel in the same chain and had a great experience, so I decided to book this accommodation. The accommodation is located right in front of JR Fukuyama Station's Fukuyama Castle Exit, making it completely stress-free to find. In May this year, there was reportedly a world-famous rose event. Roses were planted throughout the city. I stayed in early June, and the roses were still beautifully blooming. The accommodation has an excellent location with restaurants and department stores nearby, making it very convenient. Additionally, the room size was just right, and I enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink as well.

    Convenient Hotel near Fukuyama Station

    A hotel located right in front of Fukuyama Castle, at the north exit of Fukuyama Station. While the south exit is more bustling, this location offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere. That said, the station is just steps away. Amenities are well-prepared, including bath salts available on the opposite side of the front desk. The drink bar on the lobby floor for guests was also much appreciated. Breakfast offered a good variety from Japanese to Western options and was delicious. The guest rooms were not too small and included a desk suitable for work as well as mirrors in the room, making my stay very comfortable. This was my second visit during a business trip, and I will definitely use this accommodation again for future trips. Thank you very much!

    Hotel near the station with a view of Fukuyama Castle

    The Hotel is located right in front of Fukuyama Station and Fukuyama Castle, and this time, the Room offered a view of the castle. The Room was spacious, and the amenity bar in the lobby provided everything needed, which was very helpful. It would be appreciated if disposable slippers were also available... The breakfast had various choices and was delicious. I will visit again during my next business trip to Fukuyama.
