    I was able to relax and rest well.

    I stayed here for the first time in about seven years, and it was still a clean Hotel where I could relax comfortably. The air conditioning can be adjusted individually, and the mattress and pillow firmness were just right, so I slept very well. It’s also close to the station, with plenty of shops and restaurants along the way, and the area feels safe. What I especially liked was the toothbrush—I was impressed that a Business Hotel toothbrush could clean so well. I’ll stay here again next time!

    It was great that the bathroom was separate.

    Last time in Nagoya, I stayed at a different Daiwa Roynet, but the bathroom was not separate, so I chose this one. The staff were all very kind, which was great. Breakfast seemed to focus mainly on Vietnamese food, and there weren’t many menu items, which was a bit disappointing. Also, it didn’t seem like there was a shower cap among the amenities, which was inconvenient. The Room was clean, and I was able to relax and recover from my fatigue in the bath.

    A Trip to Nagoya

    I stayed here because my early-morning tour meeting point was in the underground area of Nagoya Station, so I was looking for a Hotel close to Nagoya Station. The location on a corner made it easy to find, and having a convenience store on the first floor was very convenient. The Room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. All the staff were very kind and courteous, providing clear explanations with friendly service.

    Comfortable, but

    I stayed for one night while sightseeing. The amenity bar was well stocked, including drip coffee. It was convenient to have a convenience store on the first floor of the Hotel. The bathroom was separate, so the bath was comfortable. However, since it is along a main road, I occasionally heard noisy cars and ambulances. It was quiet at night, but that point bothered me a little. The front desk staff were very helpful and recommended a place for a Nagoya-style morning set meal, which I tried. It was delicious for just one coin (500 yen).

    It was convenient.

    There were so many Hotels with the same name that, even though I was careful, I ended up heading to the one I could see and arrived after taking a detour. There was a convenience store on the first floor, which was very convenient. Amenities were self-serve (you take what you need), and I felt the selection was plentiful. It may vary by Room type, but in the Room I stayed in, the bathroom was separated by a door; the washing area and bathtub were separate, and the tub had a comfortable curved backrest—really great. The Room also had a massage chair, which helped relieve travel fatigue. I was able to relax during my time in the Room. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

    Immaculately clean.

    The interior is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The service is excellent, and the roomwear comes as separate top and bottom pieces, making it very comfortable. There’s also a convenience store on the floor below, so you can quickly buy food and drinks—I’d like to stay here every time.

    Convenient Location

    The King Bed Room is not very spacious; you can open two 28-inch suitcases, but there will be almost no walking space. It is very close to the Taiko-dori Exit, making it convenient for taking JR trains. For Kintetsu and Meitetsu lines, you don't necessarily need to walk through the station; the underground passage outside is also very convenient (avoiding crowded areas inside the station). There is also a 24-hour large supermarket nearby.

    It was comfortable.

    There is a chain Hotel nearby, so I made sure not to confuse them. The bathroom was separate, allowing for a relaxing experience. I feel like there used to be bath salts before... The breakfast was Vietnamese cuisine and very delicious.

    At check-in, I was strongly encouraged to register online, but the system was not operational yet. Although I was told that registering would allow for a smoother process, it turned out to be meaningless. Despite having an urgent appointment, it seemed like the focus was only on increasing registration numbers. Was this handled by part-time staff? The Room's TV was also broken and did not work.

    Convenient.

    Nagoya Station has two main exits: "Shinkansen Exit" and "Taiko-dori Exit." I initially went to the wrong one without checking carefully, but the front desk staff kindly guided me. The location is very convenient. It's also great that there is a parking lot right next door with space for 300 cars, which is rare for business accommodations. However, it was disappointing that YouTube couldn't be accessed on the TV, as many business hotels now offer this feature.

    It was disappointing...

    It was disappointing that there was no lotion or emulsion among the amenities. Also, I was tired and wanted to get to my Room quickly, but the lengthy explanation about installing the app was exhausting. The breakfast was delicious.

    The kettle was a bit...

    The kettle was a bit old, and the view outside was slightly concerning, but everything else exceeded the standards of a typical Hotel!! It was a very comfortable environment, and I would love to stay again.

    It was a good Facility for a Business Hotel.

    The Room was small, but it is good for a Business Hotel. The independent bath made it convenient and easy to use. Breakfast was an ordinary buffet.

    A convenient Hotel with a convenience store (Seven-Eleven) on the first floor.

    This was my first time staying, and the location was convenient as it was close to Nagoya Station. The room was not very spacious, but the bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower, making it convenient to use just like at home. The front desk is on the second floor and requires using the elevator, but if you are going from the first floor to the second floor or above, it always stops on the second floor first. Conversely, when going down from the second floor or above to the first floor, it also always stops on the second floor first. There are many Chinese guests, which can sometimes be a bit of an obstacle when moving around.

    Business Hotel near JR Nagoya Station

    The Hotel is conveniently located near JR Nagoya Station, and the reception service was good. The Room had dust, and it seemed like it wasn't cleaned, which was disappointing. There is no place to hang bath towels in the bathroom or washroom, so it would be appreciated if a place to hang them could be installed in the bathroom or washroom to dry wet bath towels.

    Convenient, clean

    Close to the station, with a convenience store on the first floor and many restaurants nearby, making it convenient. The Facility is new, with separate toilet and bathtub, and the bed is of moderate firmness and quality, which is satisfactory. However, perhaps due to the schedule of the three-day weekend, it was very expensive, exceeding the realm of a Business Hotel.

    This is the first time I've been disappointed with Daiwa Roynet Hotel.

    I always stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel when I travel. I've stayed at this hotel in Nagoya many times, but this time I felt very disappointed as soon as I arrived. Since there was some time before check-in, I went to the front desk to leave my luggage first. There were a few guests waiting for the elevator to check out, but since it's an automatic check-out, there were no guests at the front desk. I told the female staff member who assisted me that I had a reservation for today and wanted to leave my luggage first. Although she spoke politely, her attitude was sulky, she never made eye contact, and her expression and demeanor were gloomy, making her response and attitude very poor. The male staff member standing next to her also responded to a guest waiting for the elevator who politely asked, "The elevator isn't coming at all, is there a staircase?" Without leaving the front desk, he simply replied, "The elevator is not available. Please wait," in a businesslike manner, which was far from a considerate service. (At the very least, if he had approached and explained, "I'm sorry, but for safety reasons, the stairs cannot be used," the impression might have been different.) I've stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotels in various prefectures, but this was the first time I felt so uncomfortable due to the service attitude, and I felt very unpleasant even before my stay. I understand there may be various reasons such as busyness, fatigue, or health, and I don't expect them to always respond with a smile, but I would like them to at least stop the sulky attitude and response. After going out, I checked in in the evening, and the different female staff member who assisted me then, as well as another male staff member replenishing amenities, greeted me very brightly and energetically. They responded pleasantly with smiles throughout, and I was honestly relieved because I was worried that the previous female staff member might still be at the front desk. (I wanted to avoid staying with a bad feeling.) I would like to continue using this hotel, so I sincerely hope for improvements.
