    What’s disappointing

The lounge was great, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately, the chairs on the courtyard patio were badly torn and worn out. The TV didn’t receive BS channels, and the remote batteries were weak, making it hard to change channels. I also looked for the first-floor restaurant because I wanted to eat seared bonito, but it was already gone. It was still listed on the signboard—if it’s no longer available, please update the signage accordingly.

The property was not thoroughly cleaned.

It was a unit bath, but when I sat on the toilet, I saw about 10 thin, long hairs stuck to the wall right in front of me. I’m not sure whether they were left because the cleaner wiped the wall with a towel after cleaning the bathroom, or because a guest used a hair dryer at the sink after using the bathroom and they ended up on the wall behind... In any case, everything looked unhygienic, and it made me feel like the entire Room was dirty. The air conditioner also had its cleaning indicator light still on. The location is convenient, so I would really like you to strengthen your cleaning standards.

    A standard Hotel.

    - The guest room and other areas inside the building seemed to be well cleaned. Amenities were limited to the basics. - The hospitality and service were very average. - As for the bathroom, it was a standard unit bath (bath and toilet together). However, a Hotel in Hiroshima in the same price range had a separate bath and toilet. - Regarding Facilities and equipment, I did not use them, but there was a lounge available free of charge for Hotel guests. - I only had breakfast; it was neither particularly good nor bad. - Overall, my satisfaction was average. That said, I didn’t feel disappointed, uncomfortable, or anything negative. This time I stayed here to go to Yoshimoto Shinkigeki and the manzai theater. The Hotel is only a very short distance from these theaters, so if I visit again for the same purpose, I would stay here again.

The location is excellent! A Business Hotel thriving with inbound guests.

I recently stayed at an accommodation I used to frequent during business trips. Back then, it was reasonably priced, and I loved the location and the building with its courtyard. Although the pricing has changed significantly, I decided to stay again after a long time. Located in the heart of Namba, it offers a very convenient location. The room size hasn’t changed much and is still on the smaller side, but the interior has been upgraded to feel slightly more luxurious. The lounge available for guests is designed like a shared lounge where you can also enjoy drinks; it’s comfortable but crowded with international guests. However, there were surprisingly no foreign language instructions available. When using the automatic pancake machine, all my pancakes were taken by another guest before I could eat them. Even when explaining in English, they said they only understood Korean. Unfortunately, no staff members were present at that time. While the location and memories are fantastic, I felt as though this hotel might not cater much to Japanese guests anymore—perhaps my expectations were too high. Still, if you want to fully enjoy Namba, this is an excellent location!

    Satisfied for the second time

All staff members, regardless of their position, provide exceptional and pleasant service. In particular, the housekeeping team did an incredibly thorough job, allowing for a very comfortable stay. Every staff member greeted us with a smile whenever we passed by. I will definitely stay here again next time.

    The room was clean. ...

The room was clean. Although it was a smoking room, there was no noticeable smell. Welcome drinks and light snacks near the front desk were a pleasant surprise.

One of the best in Namba.

The room and bathroom were clean. The room I stayed in had a washing machine, so there was no need to worry about overlapping with other guests at the laundry. It was conveniently located right near the guestroom entrance, with the lounge almost directly in front. The layout was perfect. The provided hairdryer and hair iron were from YA-MAN, which alone could justify the room price—are you sure this is okay? Having welcome snacks and ice cream available was a delightful touch for a summer stay. Now, just a few suggestions for improvement: The luggage storage area was slightly hard to locate. While there are icons displayed on pillars and walls, their stylish design makes it difficult to understand what they represent at first glance. Additionally, since the color scheme is uniform, it’s hard to spot where these markers are located in the first place... When I asked at reception around 9 AM before check-in time, I was told "go straight ahead and turn left at the end," but having someone step out of reception and guide me closer to the entrance would have been better service-wise—especially since it wasn’t during peak check-in/check-out hours—it felt slightly cold as an interaction. The lounge had a great atmosphere with all-you-can-eat-and-drink access throughout your stay—a fantastic service! However, when I visited around 4 PM and again around 8:30 PM for pancakes, there wasn’t any maple syrup available both times. If placed in bottles like chocolate sauce or something similar, it would be easier for guests (and staff) to notice when it's empty so that refills can be managed promptly—and guests can quickly move on without disappointment. I saw several guests struggling with this issue; one child looked particularly disappointed when they couldn’t find any syrup left... While running out close to closing time (around 8 PM) might be understandable, having none by 4 PM suggests inventory management needs improvement. Although staff frequently entered the lounge during my visits—perhaps only focused on clearing used dishes—it seemed unclear whether anyone noticed or addressed stock shortages like this. Overall though—the hotel experience as a whole was excellent! With many international visitors staying here too (some cultural differences like elevator etiquette may require patience), any minor frustrations were easily overshadowed by how wonderful both my room and lounge experiences were. This will definitely become my go-to accommodation in Namba!

    Mysterious Carpet Cutout

Upon entering the Room, I noticed a large black dust-like debris on the carpet under the TV. It was something that couldn't be easily overlooked, which was a bit disappointing. However, since it was cheaper than other sites, I thought it might be acceptable... But then, I noticed that the carpet next to the bed had been cut into a perfect square. It made me wonder if there was a hole underneath. If there really were holes in the Room, I would have chosen another Room even if it cost more. I've stayed at many Hotels before but never experienced anything like this. I think it's better not to use that particular Room. It's unfortunate because everything else about the Hotel was good!

A stylish, affordable Hotel in an unbeatable location

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Namba’s downtown area. The Facility and Rooms also feature a refined design and a great atmosphere. There are no single Rooms, so it may feel pricey for solo use, but for two guests it offers a very reasonable stay in a prime, sophisticated location.

    Just a 5-minute walk...

Just a 5-minute walk from Namba Station, offering excellent convenience. Located in a shopping arcade, making dining and shopping effortless. While the unrenovated guest rooms feel quite dated, the front lobby and breakfast area have been recently refurbished with an elegant design featuring classic tones with oriental elements rather than modern aesthetics. A new lounge has also been added, though unfortunately, I couldn't find time to visit. The breakfast is exceptionally luxurious, featuring a wide variety of options such as six types of donuts, Swedish-style meatballs, Kobe high curry, okonomiyaki (savory pancakes), quail skewers, nikujaga (meat and potato stew), pho noodles, Osaka-style beef udon noodles, and more—ranging from local specialties to Western dishes. Counter seating is available as well for business travelers who prefer a more casual dining experience.

    The location is excellent.

The bath and breakfast were great. The curry was delicious. It would have been perfect if the Room was a bit more spacious.

    Prime Location

We stayed here during the Grand Sumo Spring Tournament. Located within the Minami shopping street, it was very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The Oriental Premier Residence was perfect for our family of four. However, it was disappointing that the restaurant was noisy due to many overseas guests, and the restroom cleanliness could have been better.
