Both the breakfast and the large public bath were quite good.
There is a large Onsen bath in Toyama City. I stayed here because I was looking for a Room with an Onsen bath. Since I had a lot of luggage such as suitcases, I chose a spacious twin Room with an in-room Onsen bath. By moving the furniture, I could easily open my suitcases, so choosing this Room was the right decision. In this Room, the sleeping area is separated from the toilet and washbasin area by doors and the entryway space, which was nice because everyday noise didn’t bother me much. However, the washbasin area is surprisingly small, and there was hardly any space to place my toiletries. Also, the window frame was broken and the sun-shade sliding door wouldn’t close, so it was very bright in the morning and that was inconvenient. Since the large public bath can also be used by non-guests, it may get crowded at times, but it was convenient and easy to use overall. In the end, I barely used the bath in my Room. There are washing machines and dryers. Breakfast isn’t luxurious, but there is a good selection. There were items like sashimi as well as healthy small side dishes that you can combine for a balanced breakfast. There were also kid-friendly options like fried shrimp and hamburg steak, which would be helpful for families. The Facility feels a bit cluttered overall; it felt like an Accommodation that’s essentially an extension of a super sento. Nothing was particularly inconvenient, but the main advantage of staying in this area might simply be that it’s close to the library.

The Room was too small.
My spouse and I stayed here as a couple. We wanted a twin Room, but only a double was available, so we had no choice but to book the double. The Room was extremely small, and the toilet was not separated from the sink area, which made it inconvenient because we couldn’t use the toilet and washbasin at the same time. The bath in the Room was filled with Onsen water, which was nice. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind. Thank you very much.

There were many disappointing aspects.
We stayed as two adults. The entrance and shared areas were clean. However, we were very disappointed with the Room. As soon as we entered, there was a strong odor in the Room, and damage on the walls had been roughly covered with tape. The in-room bath was also not what I would call clean. It seems the hinoki bath is one of their selling points, but some areas had severe dark staining and what looked like mold. If it cannot be properly maintained, I felt a standard bathtub would be better. Worst of all was the smell in the in-room toilet. It was unbearably bad, and even using the provided deodorizing spray did not help. Because it was so strong it made us feel sick, we asked the front desk to change our Room. We are grateful for that support. Thank you very much. After moving Rooms, the odor in the Room was much better. The toilet still had some smell, but compared to how terrible the first Room was, it didn’t bother us as much. It feels less like insufficient cleaning and more like an internal issue such as plumbing or sewage. When we stayed at Dormy Inn in another prefecture before, the Rooms were very clean and felt well maintained, so this time was especially disappointing because our expectations were high. The price was around JPY 30,000 for two people— not extremely expensive but not particularly cheap either—so it felt even more disappointing. Breakfast quality is about the same as a typical Business Hotel. Being able to make your own seafood bowl seems to be a highlight, but this is not the only place that offers seafood at breakfast. I think you should think carefully before choosing based on breakfast alone. Honestly, a standard Dormy Inn or nearby Business Hotels around Toyama Station (such as Daiwa Roynet) offer far better value for money and cleanliness. We enjoyed our trip to Toyama, but time spent at this Hotel was very unpleasant. I used to have a good impression of Dormy Inn, but after this stay I don’t think I will even consider it again.

It was comfortable.
I drove to Toyama to enjoy sushi, Himi beef, and white shrimp. The parking system was a bit confusing at first, but the Hotel staff were kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. The Hotel has tatami flooring throughout, so you can walk barefoot (if you prefer slippers, please ask at the front desk). There were about four kinds of after-bath ice cream to choose from, which was fun, and the free massage chairs were fantastic.

This was my repeat s...
This was my repeat stay at Nono. As always, it was consistently excellent. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and the Onsen was great as well. I look forward to staying at Nono again in another location.

The bath is great.
Our Room was on the same floor as the large public bath. It was very convenient both for going to the bath and for my husband to use the smoking area. It was also the closest Room to the elevator, so when you open the door you may run into people waiting for the elevator or heading to the bath. Some guests might not like that, but we found it extremely convenient and were very happy with it. I’d even like to request this Room again next time—honestly, I felt like I could live there (lol). The staff member (male) at check-in was quietly kind and pleasant. The Room was clean and spacious enough. The location is great: there’s a department store directly across the street, with an excellent food hall where we could also buy souvenirs. It’s a little far from Toyama Station, but it’s walkable as a stroll (about 15 minutes?). Taking the streetcar is also fun. If you ask at the front desk, they give you a half-fare streetcar ticket, which was a nice deal. Parking cost 1,400 yen. You receive a pass that allows unlimited in-and-out access until 23:59 on the day after your stay. In spring especially, it seems nice to leave your car parked and explore nearby on foot or go out by streetcar. The bath was also excellent—spacious, clean, and very relaxing.

We had a relaxing stay!
No matter where I go in the whole country, I always stay at Dormy Inn! It’s close to the downtown area, and the large public bath and sauna are great. The other services are excellent as well. The hinoki bath in the Room was also wonderful.

A comfortable accommodation where you can enjoy a variety of natural onsen.
It was an exciting stay with the heavy snow forecast. The natural Onsen was very relaxing and comfortable. The tatami-style interior of the accommodation might be a matter of preference, but I think it’s a great place to unwind. Regarding sightseeing, I asked for directions to an art museum at the front desk—thank you for your assistance in confirming it. However, it turned out to be closed during my visit on such a cold day... It was truly disappointing (tears).

The Onsen is wonderful.
We stayed as a group of four: my spouse, my mother, my sister, and myself. The accommodation included an indoor Onsen, which was fantastic. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

It was excellent!
The Onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast lived up to its reputation. There was pork miso soup, the local specialty cod soup, and pumpkin puree soup for the winter solstice—all of which were delicious and surprising. The seafood bowl was topped generously with salmon roe. I plan to visit twice next year. Toyama is a fantastic city with both stunning mountains and sea, as well as plenty of great dining options in town—definitely worth taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo. Plus, the Onsen and breakfast at the Hotel were absolutely top-notch!

The building was calm and very pleasant.
I stayed in Toyama and chose Accommodation Nono as it was available. The front desk was luxurious, the room had a Japanese-style bed, and it was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast, featuring plenty of local ingredients, was excellent. However, the system of placing a sign on the dining table during meals left some signs unattended even after guests had left, which limited seat selection and was slightly disappointing. Improving this aspect would make it perfect.

It was a very pleasant stay.
I had been curious about the breakfast for a while and finally stayed here. I was highly satisfied with many aspects, including the breakfast, room, large public bath, and location. I believe this is an accommodation I can recommend to those planning to try it. Thank you very much.

Returning guest
Convenient for shopping, surrounded by restaurants, with an Onsen bath in the room and a large public bath with a sauna—this place keeps me coming back. The room may feel a bit small due to the Onsen bath, but it’s such a favorite that it more than makes up for it. The staff's response during difficult situations is excellent, and they helped me again this time. Thank you very much!

Overall, a great Hotel!
I was surprised by the system of removing shoes at the entrance. It might feel a bit inconvenient if you're wearing boots or business shoes. The room was small, but it wasn't much of an issue. The services like late-night ramen, morning probiotic drinks, sauna, Onsen, and massage chairs were excellent. The staff seemed friendly, though I didn't interact with them much to judge their service quality. A few points I noticed: - It would be helpful to have paper or cloth for polishing shoes. - There was a red stain left on the bath mat in the room. - The seal on the bathroom door in the room was covered with mold. I hope these issues can be improved next time. Overall, it was a great stay and I would love to come back!

Relax and rejuvenate from your journey at the Onsen.
We were upgraded to a more spacious room than the one we reserved, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. The facility has a no-shoes policy indoors, and the room's onsen bath was large enough to stretch out and relax. The two beds were joined together, providing plenty of space. The public bath featured convenient amenities such as ReFa showerheads and high-end Panasonic hair dryers, which added to the comfort. It was not crowded, so we could enjoy it at our own pace. The meals were average as we might have had higher expectations. The front desk staff left a good impression with their service, but we were especially pleased with the attentiveness of the staff member with a beginner’s badge who delivered an exchanged size for our room wear and kindly accommodated our request to freeze ice packs. We would love to stay here again when visiting Toyama!

The Room...
The room was disappointing. The chair or sofa in front of the TV was wobbly, and the toilet had a slight odor. I tried to think of it as just a place to sleep, but considering the price, it wasn’t particularly cheap. Unfortunately, this accommodation didn’t meet expectations this time.

The Onsen was so relaxing that I enjoyed it multiple times.
As expected from an Onsen accommodation, the Onsen was truly comfortable. The room had a hinoki bath, so I could enjoy bathing in the room without worrying about time. Even though it was partly a work trip, I was able to relax and increase my focus. Thank you very much.

In recent years, it ...
In recent years, it has become a favorite, and I have been using it several times a year. The breakfast unique to Toyama, the full range of services typical of the Dormy chain, the location, and of course the Onsen are all excellent. I was also very pleased with an unexpected upgrade this time. Every time, the front desk staff are all wonderfully kind and pleasant people.

It was truly impressive.
As a Business Hotel, I had high expectations for Dormy's slightly upgraded version, and it met those expectations. The entire building is tatami-matted, and the Room bath is made of cypress, which seems like a rather troublesome specification considering maintenance, but I think it makes sense. Being surrounded by tatami everywhere is truly calming. Is it because I'm Japanese? The cypress scent in the bath is very pleasant, and the showerhead has three different water flows, making it extremely comfortable. The large public bath is the same. The services are so extensive, with features like a waterfall bath, dimly lit bath, dry & mist sauna, and open-air bath, that you might wonder if it's necessary. Of course, there's also free night soba and ice cream. Breakfast is a heap of seafood and Toyama specialties, delicious. The side dishes were also tasty. I remember feeling sad after eating fried chicken at Dormy in Wakkanai a long time ago (well, it was cheap, so I gave up), but the fried chicken here was delicious. I brought socks thinking it was tatami, but they were available in the amenities! Impressive. The towels are as thick as those in a first-class Hotel. There's a stylish basket for going to the large public bath. The Room is small but has a layout and specifications that allow for both relaxation and work (the table is a bit high, for example). There are doors for the toilet and entrance, providing excellent soundproofing. Wonderful. The downside is that when the traffic light outside turns green, you can hear a beeping sound, which is quite annoying. If you're working in the Room, it might drive you crazy. I recommend a Room not facing the road (if available). Also, the sofa cushions are too worn out, sinking too much when you sit, which is bad for your back. That's about it. The mattress is firm, the pillow is low, and the indoor wear that allows you to wander around the building is comfortable, making it impossible to stay at foreign business hotels once you know Dormy.

Room bath
From the moment I entered the Stays, there was a sense of calm. The cypress bath attached to each Room and the onsen made for a pleasantly relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious no matter what I ate, and I finished with a cup of coffee.

Great value for money.
Stay at a budget-friendly rate comparable to a Business Hotel with a plan that includes no breakfast and a 9 AM checkout. The sense of openness reminiscent of a Japanese house, where you can be without shoes throughout the entire property, is wonderful. Since shoes are not brought in, the cleanliness is maintained by not bringing in dirt from shoes. The thoughtful provision of emergency exit shoes in the guest rooms is also commendable. The onsen facilities are well-equipped and excellent. The alkaline spring quality is smooth and moist, which is favorable. There are also free offerings of ice cream, ramen, and luxurious massage chairs, and the location is close to downtown, making it perfect for a night out. If I had to say, the front desk service during early morning checkout was unfriendly, which was disappointing. Since there is no meal service, the front desk is the only point of contact, making it the sole negative point. Is a smile priceless?

Experience the feeling of an Onsen Stays at a tatami Hotel.
The hotel had tatami flooring throughout the corridors and rooms. The large public bath was a spacious Onsen that relieved my fatigue. It was nice not having to wear shoes to go to the bath. The room wasn't very large in terms of area, but because of the tatami, it felt like there was plenty of space to relax. Since shoes are not worn, it felt hygienic overall. I took advantage of the late-night soba service. The staff were also kind. Although categorized as a business hotel, it had a bright atmosphere with many families, couples, and foreign tourists.
