    I was very concerned...

    I was very concerned about the cleanliness of the bathroom. The dirt around the handrail was in a highly visible area, so it was disappointing to see. I also noticed that the toilet flush was a bit weak. Other than that, including the front desk staff’s service, my stay was comfortable.

    At check-in, my Reservation details could not be found in the system.

    At check-in, my Reservation could not be found in the system. The receptionist repeatedly said that my Reservation details were missing. I asked him to check my IKYU Hotel Reservation, but he said he still could not locate it. I also forwarded the Hotel’s Reservation confirmation email. After searching for a long time, the front desk staff explained that the name on the Reservation document was a phonetic transcription rather than the name on my passport, so they could not find it without an order number. Being overseas and being told there is no Reservation information at all is truly unsettling. There was a minor issue with the in-room facilities at check-in, but it was resolved promptly after I reported it. I also greatly appreciate the housekeeping team for their careful cleaning—thank you very much! Despite the small issue at check-in, overall it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

    Clean and pleasant surroundings

    The Room was clean and well maintained. Security felt strong and reassuring, as access to the floor is restricted without a Room key for that floor. The location was convenient, with easy access from the station and plenty of nearby convenience stores. At the end of my stay, the toilet became clogged and wouldn’t flush when I was leaving; when I informed them at checkout, they both thanked me for letting them know and apologized for the inconvenience, which reflected very polite service.

    Great value for money.

    Considering the price, I was satisfied with the Room, Facility, and breakfast. Although I arrived earlier than the check-in time, I was told that the Room was ready, so being able to enter early and rest was very helpful. However, I felt there was a lot of conversation among staff at the breakfast venue.

    Hotel directly in front of Ikuta Shrine

    I’m writing a brief memo in bullet points. Used a twin Room as a solo guest. ■ What I liked ・The Room was spacious and comfortable to use with plenty of space. ・It was a Room with a view of Ikuta Shrine, which somehow felt calming. ・I didn’t use them because I went to a nearby spa, but there were amenities such as cleansing oil and lotion. I was also happy that a sturdy body towel was provided. ・Breakfast had a wide variety of options, including menus inspired by different countries, which felt fresh and interesting. ■ What I noticed ・The Room lighting was on the dim side. ・I could occasionally hear voices from the hallway. Ikuta Shrine is close by, and since it’s a little away from Sannomiya Station, I think you can relax at the Hotel without much concern about noise. The Hotel was clean and well maintained with thorough housekeeping.

    I stayed for two nights. It was fairly quiet, a little away from the downtown area. The Room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I plan to stay here again next time.

    It takes too long to enter the parking lot.

    It took about an hour, which is understandable given the location. The road in front of the parking lot is a southbound one-way street, and since it was 5 PM in the evening, traffic was heavy and challenging. It was especially tiring as it was before check-in. The staff were kind and courteous, which I appreciated. Other than this, everything was perfect.

    Check-in requiring patience for Japanese guests

    During check-in, the staff member in training was a foreigner whose Japanese was difficult to understand, requiring me to ask for clarification several times. The explanations were overly simplified, and some necessary details were not provided. While I understand hiring foreigners to accommodate international travelers, I hope staff with better Japanese proficiency can be employed. It left me disappointed, wondering if domestic travel will no longer be as comfortable as before.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    I stayed here while supporting the Hanshin Tigers. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but considering the price, it's not an issue. Located right in front of Ikuta Shrine, it's convenient for dining options. The building, facilities, and meals were all satisfactory. I would love to stay here again.

    One of the accommodations in Kobe where you can stay with peace of mind. Although I arrived late at night this time, the check-in process was handled smoothly. There was a forgotten item from a previous guest left on the table in the room, but it was not anything problematic.

    Located very close to Ikuta Shrine, with plenty of restaurants for dinner and lunch the next day, making it a convenient and excellent choice both in terms of location and Facility. The price was also very reasonable.

    知事が悪いとホテルも駄目

    The parking facilities are inadequate.

    On the final day of our 4-night trip by car, we arrived at the accommodation around 6 PM with high expectations, as we had been very satisfied with our previous accommodations. However, upon arrival, a security guard in the parking lot informed us that not only was the hotel's parking full but also their affiliated parking lots were unavailable. We were told to find parking on our own and warned that being a Saturday, parking fees would be expensive and spaces might not be available. This left us both surprised and quite anxious. We eventually managed to find a spot and paid an expensive fee for it, but considering the number of rooms in the hotel, it should be possible to estimate how many parking spaces are needed. Even on weekends, sufficient parking should be secured so guests are not inconvenienced. This has become a hotel I will never use again nor recommend to friends.

    The staff at the rec...

    The staff at the reception were all polite and kind, which is the most important thing, and their service alone was satisfying. The Facility is not very new, but the room was clean and simple, so there were no particular issues. In other words, it’s sufficient if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. I would definitely consider staying at this Hotel again if I visit this area.

    Cute Hotel

    A charming Hotel reminiscent of a petite hotel in Paris. The front staff were courteous and warm. The view from the Room was wonderful and truly relaxing, making it a memorable part of our Kobe sightseeing experience. In the morning, we were able to visit Ikuta Shrine right next door. The coffee service on the first floor was excellent.

    There are only 2 elevators, no stairs, and no evacuation route guidance.

    There may not usually be an issue, but when I entered the Hotel, there was a group of over ten people in the elevator hall. Since the elevator's capacity is about six people, I had to wait. My Room was on the 3rd floor, so I thought it would be faster to walk and asked about emergency stairs, but it seemed there were none available. There was no guidance on evacuation routes during check-in or in the Room. This is definitely something that needs improvement. The Hotel is located near Sannomiya Station, west of Ikuta Shrine. From the Room window, you can see Ikuta Police Station's parking lot and patrol cars; this might be slightly concerning in case of a fire.

    There is a self-service coffee available at the front desk for a long time. The Hotel is calm, and the location and consideration for examinees were very comfortable and good. I would like to stay again when sightseeing.

    Pleasant Hotel

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. I was surprised that the room on the second day was just as nice as on the first day. The amenities and bed-making were beautifully done, which impressed me. The front desk staff were pleasant, and the location is perfect. I felt that the parking fee could be a bit cheaper, but given the great location, it might be understandable.

    Convenient hotel for staying in Kobe

    Convenient hotel for staying in Kobe. Close to Sannomiya Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway, downtown, and Ikuta Shrine. Despite this, the surroundings are quiet. The rooms are average. Clean.
