    I’d like to stay here again.

    Close to the station and quiet, with many restaurants nearby. Large Onsen public bath. A convenience store next door, and the Hotel’s multi-story parking garage is adjacent. Perfect as a Business Hotel.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    Conveniently located very close to Nagano Station. The mixed rice at breakfast was delicious—I had seconds. There is also an open-air bath, which was very relaxing. Automated check-in and check-out made everything quick and smooth. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the trip very pleasant. I would like to stay again.

    Having an Onsen and being close to the station are great.

    I stay here every year on business trips. The front desk staff are courteous, and it’s great to have an Onsen so close to the station, but prices in Nagano have risen considerably and are now outside my company’s travel expense policy, so I feel I may need to switch to a more reasonably priced option. There are still many Chinese guests, and loud voices in the dining area and baths are not very welcome. That said, I get the impression that dynamic pricing for room rates is probably unavoidable for the Hotel to manage this.

    The complimentary la...

    The complimentary late-night noodles, Yakult, and ice cream, as well as the complimentary jelly in the Room refrigerator, were excellent. However, the front desk staff member’s phone manner sounded bothersome, which was the only disappointing part.

    I’d love to stay at Dormy Inn again.

    This was my first stay at a Dormy Inn Hotel. I’d heard the rumors, but I was truly impressed by the value-for-money services—late-night soba, the Onsen, and free ice cream and lactic acid drinks after using the sauna. The breakfast buffet also had a wide enough variety that I could try lots of different dishes, which made it very enjoyable. They also offered small side dishes, so guests could quickly pick up what they wanted instead of serving themselves with tongs, helping to avoid long lines—this was a great idea. I would definitely like to choose Dormy Inn again in the future.

    A cozy Hotel near the station

    I stay here every year when I visit Nagano to pay my respects at the grave, and this time I stayed for my mother’s third memorial service. It’s close to the station and has a natural Onsen in the Hotel, plus great services such as free drinks, ice cream and a lactic acid drink after bathing, and even late-night soba. There are also several types of shampoo to choose from depending on your mood. It’s a popular Hotel and seems harder to book lately, so if you’re traveling as a group, it’s best to reserve early. Thank you for taking care of us.

    A relaxing place to unwind.

    The Onsen water is gentle, making it easy to truly relax. I stayed here for work, and it helped me unwind and feel refreshed. Also, since the Room doesn’t have a bathtub (there is a shower booth), it felt more spacious than expected and gave a great sense of openness. Even small details—like the placement of the towel bar and the lighting—were thoughtfully considered, and I could tell the Room was very well designed. I was extremely satisfied.

    Perfect for a casual city getaway

    I took an evening Shinkansen to Nagano. After having dinner at a restaurant in town, I enjoyed the pleasant Onsen at the Hotel, and the complimentary ice cream after a bath was a nice touch. The late-night “Yonaki Soba” ramen was perfect for a light snack. The room wasn’t as small as I expected, so it didn’t feel cramped. The fridge had mineral water and jelly. There was also a coffee machine in the front lobby, which I appreciated.

    Good

    I visited Nagano regularly and used this place for the first time. It was consistently excellent. The open-air bath offered a clear view of the starry sky, which felt very different from Tokyo. At 1 a.m., I had the bath all to myself and enjoyed it leisurely. For breakfast, I indulged in local specialties like nozawana pickles, soba noodles, oyaki dumplings, and apple juice.

    Reliable Dormy Inn

    A regular accommodation for business trips. Conveniently located with good access from Nagano Station, surrounded by izakayas and convenience stores. Features include a large public bath, sauna, and breakfast—reliable Dormy Inn brand quality.

    Very good.

    This is my second stay at this accommodation. I was delighted with the welcome treat of peach jelly in the refrigerator. The bottled water is about 350ml. The large public bath feels clean and pleasant with overflowing water. When the water level is kept low to save, hair and debris float, making it unpleasant to enter. Cleansing products, face wash, toner, and lotion are provided. The room is also clean, with a toilet, shower room, and sink conveniently located inside the room. There are plenty of hangers available as well as an air purifier, fabric deodorizing spray, and a stand mirror. The bedside outlets and switches in the room are convenient to use, and I appreciate that the clock is large and easy to read. It’s close to the station with a 7-Eleven next door for added convenience—this makes it comfortable enough for me to decide that I’ll always stay here when visiting Nagano!

    Has the management company changed?

    The front desk service was excellent, and although we have been staying here annually for about four years, this was the first time we felt this way. The meals were delicious as always, and the soba noodles were especially tasty. The menu offers a variety of options that fulfill our wishes, making it hard not to overeat. One concern was the noticeable mold stains on the wall above the bed in our room. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we had a very pleasant stay. I particularly enjoyed the Yakult offered in the morning bath more than the ice cream at night. We will likely continue staying here for another three years or so. Looking forward to visiting again!

    For an additional night after your business trip

    I used this accommodation to relax after my annual business trip to Nagano. This time, my room was on the second floor, so unfortunately, I couldn't open the window or curtains. There are three washing machines inside the women's bath area, which is very convenient. I would love to stay here again!

    Free services and excellent location.

    Close to the station! The services, such as free late-night soba noodles and post-bath ice cream, were excellent, and the staff serving them were very polite and attentive. The large public bath with an open-air bath, partitioned washing areas, and a sauna was satisfying. However, there was no shower cap at the amenity bar near the front desk; you had to go to the public bath to get one. This was inconvenient if you wanted to use it in your room for face washing. Additionally, the thin towel placed with the bath towel was unclear whether it was a face towel or a washcloth. The sturdy face towels in the bathroom didn’t seem suitable for taking to the public bath, which might be troublesome for women who want a towel for drying their hair. I stayed in an Airweave room for the first time and looked forward to it. While I didn’t notice much difference compared to regular hotel beds (like Simmons), I still slept comfortably. I had read reviews mentioning insufficient cleaning around shower door edges in rooms but found no issues during my stay. However, as mentioned in other reviews, there seemed to be some structural issue causing sewage odors from the toilet area; having deodorizer or air freshener would have been helpful. Also, I noticed loud noises from outside only to find that one of my windows was slightly open. Since double curtains covered it completely and made this hard to notice initially, leaving curtains open if windows are ajar would make things clearer. Despite these minor inconveniences, I’d love to stay at this hotel again when visiting Nagano!

    I stay here every year.

    Since my first visit to Zenkoji Temple, I have made it a tradition to stay at this accommodation every year. This time, I chose a room with an Airweave bed. It was great to try out the mattress I was considering purchasing. I usually visit during the busy season and often miss breakfast, but I hope to enjoy it someday! P.S.: I made a mistake during my stay, but the staff handled it kindly and professionally. I'm truly grateful!

    A conveniently located Hotel near the station with an Onsen large bath, perfect for both business and sightseeing.

    I have stayed here several times, and I think the convenience is great with its close proximity to the station and the Onsen large public bath. The breakfast menu is abundant and satisfying, making it a Hotel I really like.

    I was looking forward to it, but

    I used it for the first time in several years, but it was a disappointing result compared to my expectations. The good points were that the bath had an open-air option, and the breakfast included local specialties like crab rice and soba, which were very delicious. The disappointing point was that the hospitality of the staff was a bit lacking. - When I tried to put water in the air purifier, it was full of dust (the hazard lamp was on, so I called the staff, but they didn't seem to notice). - The most concerning point was the attitude of the person serving meals at the breakfast venue (they were silent and without a smile, creating an atmosphere where I felt I had to be considerate). I didn't point it out because I was afraid of being accused of harassment, but the service was disappointing and not worth the cost.

    Happy with the free services.

    I always use Kyoritsu Resort. I'm happy with the little free services like ramen at night and ice cream after a bath. The Onsen was also very good, but when it's crowded, the narrowness of the washing area (spacing) was a concern. The breakfast was a buffet, but it was really delicious.

    A very relaxing Hotel

    Close to the station, with convenience stores and other amenities nearby, making it very convenient. The Room was well-cleaned, reasonably spacious, and very comfortable. The large public bath was also spacious and very satisfying. I had breakfast, and everything was delicious. I would like to use this Hotel again when staying in Nagano.

    Open-air bath near the station!

    Conveniently located just across the road from the station. There's a Starbucks on the right and a 7-Eleven on the left before reaching the Hotel. Coffee & juice are available at the front desk during check-in. The women's restroom on the first floor is shared with a multipurpose toilet and is the only one. The in-room wear, which doubles as nightwear (including slippers), can be worn to the large public bath & breakfast. A small water bottle and a financier are in the refrigerator. It was a clean and user-friendly twin room. What seemed like an air conditioner remote was actually a switch for the room lights. The air conditioner controls are located at the head of one bed, which is convenient or maybe not? w It would have been nice to have a shoe polishing sheet, but overall, it was a very satisfying Hotel. The large public bath was more spacious than expected, and there was an open-air bath, so I was able to relax in the moonlit Onsen. The staff were all kind, and the breakfast was delicious, making for a comfortable stay. If I stay in Nagano again, I would like to stay here!

    Comfortable Hotel

    I used the Airweave bed. Thanks to it, I was able to sleep soundly. There was also a large public bath and even an open-air bath, and ice cream after the bath. It was my first time staying at Dormy Inn, but the front desk staff was very helpful and even made a phone reservation for a taxi when I went to the Zenkoji (Zenkoji) morning service. It was early in the morning and still dark, so it was very helpful. I have no complaints. I am very satisfied, thank you very much.

    Wonderful

    I always use Dormy Inn, but this was my first time visiting Nagano. I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi in the Room no matter how many times I tried, but when I contacted the front desk, they promptly lent me a router and resolved the issue. The Room was spacious and clean. I would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    I will use it again.

    I used it for a solo trip and was satisfied with the adequate service. The high level of security was reassuring. The bath has a limited number of washing areas, so it might be better to check the congestion status before going (you can see it on the Room's TV).
