    The bathtub was a comfortable size, and I was able to relax very well.

    In Takaoka, I usually stay at one of the two Hotels near the station. This time I came by car, and since there was a sale I chose APA. It was inexpensive, so I did not judge it based on size or spaciousness. When I entered the Room, there was an overwhelming smell of deodorizer. I opened the window to air it out. These days even fabric softener scents can be an issue, so a strong deodorizer smell is headache-inducing. After going out and coming back, it still smelled. Is it soaked into the carpet, or did someone smoke and then spray it around? Please use fragrance-free deodorizer. The center of the bed is soft and sinks in, so it is not suitable for someone with back pain. As things are now, I will not return. However, the Room, bed linens, and bathroom were cleaned well and felt pleasant. The microwave is in the lobby; it was clean and I could use it with confidence. The shower is also recommended—it seems to be well maintained. The newspaper service is good as well.

    Parking is free, which is rare for APA Hotel, but if it's your first time staying, it might be a little hard to find, so please contact the front desk and they will kindly guide you.

    Good location

    From Takaoka Station, the Manyo Line, Emergency Medical Center Front, and to Takaoka Station, the Manyo Line and Hirokoji are convenient. In the surrounding area, there are tourist spots, government offices, supermarkets, convenience stores, and dining options, so there's no need to wander. I used a Chinese family restaurant, and even if I drank too much during happy hour, it's close and reassuring. There is a bottle of mineral water in the Room, which is reassuring. I also enjoyed unlimited free video access.
