    Convenient Hotel

    I made the Reservation on my mother’s behalf, and she said it was close to the station and the meals were delicious. It was a last-minute plan, but I was glad to book at a reasonable price.

    This was my first time staying at APA Hotel.

    The address and other details were correctly reflected on the travel site, and check-in was smooth even without a membership. The east side of Takasaki Station was under construction, but the app led me there—my mistake, unfortunately.

    The staff were helpful and the location was great, but…

    The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent. However, although it was a non-smoking Room, I noticed a lingering cigarette smell—possibly from the walls or the air conditioning.

    It was convenient.

    I stayed here while traveling from Kansai for the Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage. It was my first time in Takasaki, but the Accommodation is directly connected to the station, easy to find, and very convenient. Having an Onsen was greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    It was convenient.

    It was easy to find, with direct access from the station. I was also using the bus terminal during my stay, so that was very convenient as well. I stayed in a single room, but since I had a large suitcase (a bigger-than-usual one), there wasn’t enough space to organize my luggage. It’s great that you can check how busy the public bath is, but this time it didn’t seem to be updated very much in real time. I thought it would be helpful to have a simple map showing nearby parking lots (available on the website in advance). Still, thanks to the staff’s courteous service, I had a pleasant stay.

    2 stars compared to the price

    It felt like a standard Business Hotel. The price was over 15,000 yen for 2 people with No Meals Included, which seemed a bit high.

    Voices in the hallway...

    This time, I chose the APA Hotel near Takasaki Station. Since the APA in Niigata was excellent last time, I decided on APA again, but unfortunately, conversations in the hallway were quite audible... a bit disappointing.

    The bath is too hot (44°C).

    The service was excellent, but the bath was too hot. The thermometer installed showed "44°C." I usually enjoy soaking in the large public bath, but this time I had to get out after just 5 minutes of soaking up to my waist. Most other guests using the bath at the same time also left shortly after entering. Typically, baths are around 38–40°C or slightly higher at 41–42°C. However, 44°C is simply too hot. I hope that next time I stay at APA Hotel, the temperature will be adjusted to a more comfortable level for general guests.

    Satisfied.

    The room I stayed in before was small, but this time the room was quite spacious, allowing me to relax comfortably.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time using this place, but I couldn't sleep well all night due to the sound of water from the drainpipe in the wall. The front desk also had a strange smell as soon as I entered, which made me feel uncomfortable. The meals seemed poor for the price. I don't think I'll use it again.

    Anyway, it was helpf...

    Anyway, it was helpful being close to the station. I was planning to take the Hachiko Line, but upon closer inspection, there were only 20 minutes until departure! The next train was an hour and a half later! I was still in my yukata!!! I changed clothes, did my base makeup, hung the towels for the Multiple Night Stay on the doorknob... and made it in time with ease. I only saw the "crowded" sign at the large public bath. It was really crowded.
