    I was concerned about the front desk staff’s attitude.

    I was bothered by the front desk staff member’s overly polite yet rude attitude. I don’t think I will stay again.

    Family trip

    I was looking for a Hotel near Kotohira Shrine with a large public bath, so I chose this Hotel. The bath was even cleaner than I expected, and there were manga in the post-bath lounge. I also enjoyed breakfast, including a udon and rice-bowl buffet—everything was great! I stayed in a triple room, and it was very comfortable; the only thing I noticed was that the table felt a little small. It’s just a shame it rained. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    Whenever I visit Kag...

    Whenever I visit Kagawa, I always stay here. They accommodate early-morning check-ins, and when I stay with my elderly mother, they accept our courier delivery (clothing) and place it in the Room. Since there is no freezer in the Room, the front desk also helps with that. If you ask, they are happy to assist, so we can stay comfortably. As for the large public bath, there are only a few shower stations, so it is often crowded and we sometimes use the bathroom in the Room instead. I would be glad if the available hours were a bit longer. The Room we had this time had a newer air conditioner, which made it very comfortable.

    Great value for money, perfect for visiting Kotohira Shrine.

    We stayed here to visit Kotohira-gu Shrine. The Facility was clean, and the front desk staff were very helpful. There is a supermarket, convenience store, and drugstore nearby, which was very convenient. However, it is far from the station and there are few restaurants around, so it’s difficult to go out for dinner and drinks at night, but considering the great value for money, we were satisfied.

    Ideal for family trips

    Points of concern ・I made a Reservation via IKYU.com, but on other booking sites, higher-grade Rooms were being sold at significantly lower rates, which left me feeling like I overpaid. ・I contacted the property at the time of Reservation, but never received a reply. There was also no explanation or follow-up on the day of check-in. ・The panoramic bath offers a great view, but the changing area is extremely small and lacks enough space to change clothes or dry off. In fact, I saw some guests return to the bathing area because they couldn’t dry themselves properly. Positive points ・There is a supermarket and convenience store right in front of the property, making the location very convenient. ・During busy hours at the bath, they provided complimentary bath additives, and I was also able to use the free coffee service. ・Despite what you might expect from the exterior, the interior has been beautifully renovated and feels very clean. The fresh, well-maintained design left a good impression.

    The bath was disappointing.

    The large public bath was advertised as "with a view," so I had high expectations, but it was just a bath on the top floor, which was disappointing. Breakfast was delicious, but I wished there were more menu options.

    Good.

    The room is small and best suited for sleeping only, but aside from the size, there are no other issues. The parking lot can be inconvenient as it gets a bit farther if you arrive late. Other than that, the service and breakfast were excellent.

    The Room itself was ...

    The Room itself was good and clean. However, I left a brand-new mobile battery in the Room and called the Hotel a few hours later to ask for it to be sent back, but it was not returned to me.

    Thank you for staying with us!

    I had a very comfortable stay! Thank you very much. The firmness of the bed was excellent. I couldn't use the large public bath due to time constraints, but I used the bath in my Room with the provided bath salts. It was clean and easy to use. I would love to stay again.

    I visited Konpira Mountain.

    I chose this place to visit Konpira Mountain during my trip. The summer heat was intense, and the main gate is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Even near 6:00 PM, it was very hot, so I visited early in the morning to arrive at the gate by 6:00 AM. It was nice to go during the cooler hours, and being able to use the Hotel's large public bath afterward was a blessing. Additionally, there is a supermarket "Marunaka" across the street, a convenience store next door, and even a coin laundry available, making it very convenient. I had a pleasant stay!

    Overall satisfied!

    The hotel has been around for a long time, but it was very clean, possibly due to the recent renovation! ・Room and Amenities Amenities were available near the front desk in a self-pick system. There was a good variety, which was nice! The room was clean and comfortable for relaxation. However, I had to go to the front desk to get disposable slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. I understand it's probably for eco-friendliness, but it would be better if they were placed together with other amenities. ・Service and Hospitality From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. I also had breakfast; whenever food ran out, it was quickly replenished—very efficient! There were quite a few foreign guests staying at the hotel, and I noticed how politely they were treated by staff—it left a great impression on me. Some of the staff members themselves were foreigners; despite Japanese being difficult for them, they worked hard to explain about the hotel in Japanese—it was impressive! ・Onsen/Bath Facilities Unfortunately, I couldn't use the observation bath as it was crowded during my preferred time slot. However, being able to check congestion status from my room was convenient! Since I didn’t use this facility myself this time around—I’ll rate it 3 stars. ・Facility/Equipment Other than my accommodation room & breakfast area usage-wise nothing else stood out much personally speaking here . Parking space availability though seemed decent enough thankfully . ・Meals/Food Options: While understanding challenges involved , expanding menu choices slightly further could enhance experience overall perhaps ? That said Udon tasted deliciously satisfying ! Not directly faulting Hotel itself yet certain fellow-breakfast diners behavior (e.g noisy disruptions or kids mishandling shared utensils) somewhat detracted overall dining atmosphere hence rating reflects accordingly . Overall though highly satisfied ! Great value-for-money proposition ensures likelihood returning future stays assuredly !!

    The staff is friendly.

    The front staff were professional and welcoming with smiles. They provided clear explanations about the bath, which was very pleasant. The Room was also clean.

    Convenient Location

    Located conveniently with Marunaka (supermarket) in front and Lawson next door. One of the two hairdryers in the bathroom was broken, and since there were a few other guests, I returned to my Room with partially dried hair. The Room was clean, and amenities could be picked up at the lobby, which was excellent. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    The Room is compact but clean, and I was able to rest well. The staff also responded well.

    It was beautiful.

    I used it during my pilgrimage. For amenities, you can get disposable body towels and slippers if you ask at the front desk. Also, the shampoo and conditioner had a nice citrus scent.

    I had no particular issues during my stay.

    I used it for work. The room was clean and had a decent amount of space, giving it a feel that was a notch above a business hotel.
