    The breakfast had a ...

    The breakfast had a great reputation, and it exceeded my expectations. It was a bit disappointing that the Room was an older type and couldn’t stream YouTube, but considering the price, I guess it can’t be helped. I later found out that the tea lounge is in the North Building. I was told I could view the facility guide via QR code, but since there was no issue using the Room without it, I didn’t check it. For things like that, I think having a paper guide would be better.\nI’ll come back again to give it another try.

    A Hotel in the Heart of the Downtown Entertainment District

    Even though I’ve walked along Teramachi Street many times, I never noticed this Hotel. It’s also very close to Sanjo Keihan, and it was easy to get there even in the extreme heat because I could walk through the covered shopping arcade. There’s a 7-Eleven downstairs, so there was no trouble at all with shopping or meals. The Room is compact but very functional, and I love that the bath and toilet are separate. The bathroom has a washing area and even a chair—everything you could ask for. There’s also drink service, and many international guests stay here; it seems everyone really appreciates the coin laundry. It’s also convenient for accessing the Tozai Subway Line, which helped me a lot on this trip. Despite all these services, the price is very reasonable. This may become my regular place to stay. Breakfast included eel, so I got a great nutritional boost first thing in the morning. And amazingly, there was an automatic rice dispenser where you press a button and it serves exactly the amount you choose—so impressive. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    The lounge was nice, but

    It was disappointing that the Premium Floor is in the South Wing while the lounge is in the North Wing, making it inconvenient as you have to go outside to get there. If you don’t plan to use the lounge, I think it’s a convenient location that stays quiet at night.

    I was a little surprised that the property is split into two buildings across the street, but I liked that the Room was spacious enough and quiet.

    Summer Vacation Multiple Night Stay (3 Nights)

    I stay here every year. This time, thanks to the early check-in service, I was able to access my Room at 11:00. The location is convenient for getting anywhere in Kyoto City, and I also appreciate that the bath and toilet are completely separate. However, this time both face masks provided in the Room had already been opened, and the liquid inside had leaked out, leaving the tray sticky. In addition, the safe was broken and it took time to repair and replace it (the safe was replaced three times). I felt that housekeeping checks were insufficient. Disappointing.

    This is a wonderful Hotel that has it all!

    I stayed for four days starting July 13. -Front Desk Staff- First of all, my sincere thanks to everyone. Due to personal circumstances, I consulted in advance about arriving earlier than planned. You kindly offered thoughtful suggestions, and at check-in the information had been accurately shared and handled perfectly. You also saw me off pleasantly at check-out. -Location / Surroundings- An excellent location in the heart of the city—Teramachi-dori, Shinkyogoku Shopping Street, Rokkaku-dori, and Sanjo-dori. Very convenient for dining and all kinds of shopping. -Hotel- Although it is a very busy area with many visitors (including international travelers), once you step into the Hotel everything changes—there is a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The toilet and bath are completely separate. The bath is spacious and comfortable. The room is fully equipped with everything needed, including amenities. *Some amenities are available at the front desk In the North Building, the convenience store on the 1st floor is directly connected to the elevator. You can access it using your room key. -Sightseeing / Shopping- Shijo-Kawaramachi is about a 15-minute walk away. Thanks to the great location, various public transportation options are also close by for sightseeing and shopping. On the last day I checked out around 8:00 a.m. I headed to Kyoto Station from the Kawaramachi-dori bus stop about a 5-minute walk away; there were fewer passengers than expected, and I arrived in about 15 minutes. -Finally- I was disappointed that I couldn’t try your well-reviewed breakfast because I don’t eat much. It was during the Gion Festival (Yoiyama) period before the main parade—hot every day… no, very hot! (lol) But staying at such a wonderful Hotel made my time in Kyoto truly excellent. I look forward to visiting again next time. Thank you very much.

    Quiet and peaceful despite being located in a lively downtown area.

    I’d been wanting to stay here at least once. This Hotel is located along Teramachi Kyogoku Shopping Street in Kyoto. This time I chose a Plan that includes lounge access, and it was amazing! The menu changes depending on the time of day, so I used it twice—right after check-in and again in the evening. It was almost like having the place to myself—quiet and relaxing. I really enjoyed a leisurely time there. The Room was also comfortable with a separate bath and toilet. Even though it’s in a lively area, it was very quiet, so I could unwind peacefully. Breakfast was also very satisfying, with options like grilled eel rice bowls and rolled omelets with eel. With such a convenient location for sightseeing, I’d love to stay again.

    Excellent location

    It was raining when we checked in, but the Hotel is located in a shopping arcade, so we could get around through the covered arcade street, which was very helpful. The entrance has a Kyoto-style design, and the way it blends in with the surrounding area is wonderful. The Room was clean and functional, and we had a very comfortable stay.

    A Hotel Where You Can Experience Kyoto

    This time I was on a business trip, but Hotel Gracery is in a very convenient location and lets you experience the Kyoto atmosphere both during your stay and in the surrounding area. The breakfast is exceptionally delicious. With Kyoto-style obanzai dishes, eel specialties, and sweets, it truly is a “breakfast that makes you want to wake up early,” and one of my highlights on business trips.

    I stay here every time I visit Kyoto. This time, my sister and I stayed in two smoking Rooms. My sister was very satisfied; the Room was clean and she slept well. She was also happy with the breakfast. We look forward to staying with you again when we visit as sisters. I also look forward to staying with you again when I travel alone.

    I’m glad I chose this place.

    After debating between this Hotel and another, we decided to stay here. The Room was clean and we were very satisfied. The amenities you can choose from in the first-floor lobby were great, and we were especially happy with the Sekkisei set and sheet masks in the Room. The bathroom shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and bath salts were also excellent. We had been looking forward to breakfast, and everything was delicious. We were also very happy with the seafood rice bowl that we could customize to our liking. We were particularly pleased to have eel. It was great on top of the seafood bowl, and the freshly made rolled omelet with eel and vinegared eel salad were both delicious. One thing we noticed was that even when our table—since we eat a lot—had a pile of empty dishes, they remained stacked up until the end. With a table for two it felt cramped, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it’s a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

    Wonderful

    Having a separate bath and toilet was a real plus, and I was happy to be able to relax in the tub. The amenities were high quality, making the stay very comfortable. I booked the complimentary Premium Lounge trial Plan, and the wine, cheese, nuts, and simmered mizuna were absolutely delicious. Breakfast also offered a great variety of dishes, and I was delighted to enjoy freshly made eel omelet rolls. I would love to stay again.

    Our family stayed in...

    Our family stayed in two Premium Twin Rooms. On the day of arrival, the person who left our luggage and the person who checked in first were different, but the staff were very courteous, which made a great first impression. The Premium Lounge was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely like to stay again.

    I was worried about ...

    I was worried about what the Room would be like because the price was low, but it was extremely clean. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the washroom was spacious. There was also a Japanese-style Room where I could relax, so I had a very comfortable stay.

    Conveniently located in the city center

    I visited Kyoto to see a favorite temple for a limited-time viewing. This time I was traveling solo, so I chose an Accommodation that was compact and highly convenient. I was surprised to find such a convenient Accommodation right in the heart of the city near Sanjo Kawaramachi—Kyoto has really evolved. The separate bath and toilet made it very comfortable. The bath salts and face packs were perfect travel items. Although it was lively with many inbound visitors, the Hotel staff were attentive and considerate, handling everything efficiently so movement around the property felt smooth. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I’d like to stay here again next time.

    The location is great, and I stay here every time I visit Kyoto. The Room is relaxing, and being able to enjoy a delicious breakfast is a big help. With fewer smoking rooms available these days, this place is truly valuable. I would be happy if you could continue to offer smoking-allowed rooms in the future.

    There were self check-in machines installed, but the response was rather slow, and the screen was dim—perhaps to prevent shoulder surfing—making it hard to read. Since one staff member was assisting at each machine, I felt that a face-to-face reception desk might have been smoother. In the hallway leading to the Room, there was leftover debris from cleaning scattered around. I wonder if the check-in time is set too early? Is this due to staff shortages these days? Other than that, overall it was quite good.

    Welcome back.

    I stayed here last year and loved the great location, spacious bath, and clean Facility, so this time I stayed with my son on the first night and then stayed alone in a different type of Room on the second night. Both Rooms were spotless and well maintained—everything was excellent, and I was completely satisfied. I would like to stay again next time. The only disappointment was breakfast. I chose a plan with breakfast for the first night only, but it was more crowded than last year, some dishes were not replenished in time, and the rolled omelet (dashimaki tamago?) was dry. I won’t be using breakfast again. That said, we waited about 10 minutes in the Hotel lobby for a table to open up, and the male front desk staff member guided us smoothly—it was pleasant to watch.

    Kabuki Room

    I stayed in the Kabuki Room “Matsu,” and it was truly unique, thoughtfully designed, and a lot of fun. The hair dryer was a Dyson, and the shower head was a Mirable, which made it very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was far beyond what you’d expect from a Business Hotel—unlimited salmon roe and eel. Everything else, including the obanzai-style dishes, was also delicious, and I was completely satisfied.

    On the upper floors, the Wi‑Fi and water pressure are very weak.

    The Room on the 9th floor where I stayed had extremely weak WiFi compared with the lounge on the 2nd floor, to the point that it was unusable. Specifically, download speed was 3 Mbps on the 9th floor versus 150 Mbps on the 2nd floor. In addition, the shower water pressure was very low, so I couldn’t make good use of the Mirable showerhead. Also, the bathroom cleaning was not thorough—there was visible debris left behind—so I had to clean it myself. On a positive note, the premium lounge and breakfast were very well stocked and enjoyable.

    A flawless urban Hotel

    I became a fan of the Sri Lankan woman at the front desk during check-in. She was so friendly and attentive (I ended up signing up for membership without thinking!). The Room, breakfast, and location were all flawless.

    Very convenient.

    This was my second stay since last December. I really like it—the location is great and the price is reasonable. It’s a bit of a hassle to go outside in the snow to reach the building with the lounge, but it was nice that it wasn’t crowded. Since it was a snowy day, it was also great to warm up in the large bathtub. The only thing I’d like improved is the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work in some areas. I’ll be back!

    Supreme Tranquility

    This is a wonderful Hotel that has it all: great facilities, outstanding staff hospitality, and an excellent setting. The bathroom was spacious enough to stretch out and very comfortable. We also enjoyed Kyoto specialties and obanzai cuisine. In the guest-only lounge, we were able to relax with complimentary drinks and spend an exceptionally quiet time. It’s a fantastic Hotel where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience in a peaceful atmosphere. Next time, I plan to stay in a Premium Room.

    I stayed in a Room with access to the Premium Lounge. The Room had a coffee maker, and the toilet and bath were separate, which made it very convenient. The bed was also very comfortable. The Premium Lounge had a calm atmosphere, and perhaps because there were no other guests at the time, I was able to relax and spend time there comfortably. Breakfast was laid out in a compact way, but it was easy to choose from, and I enjoyed salmon roe and eel in the morning—it was delicious. Next time as well, I will stay again with Premium Lounge access.

    The Ultimate Urban Hotel

    Excellent front desk service, clean and comfortable rooms, and an exceptional breakfast—everything is top-notch. Definitely worth a repeat stay!

    Breakfast was so-so.

    The influx of international guests initially raised concerns about noise, but it was not an issue at all. The Room was spacious, with high ceilings, making it very comfortable. However, the bathtub had a slimy or rough texture that felt unpleasant. The breakfast, which was advertised as highly rated in Reviews, turned out to be surprisingly compact compared to the promotional photos. The tamagoyaki wasn’t prepared by a chef but by part-time staff, and perhaps due to unfamiliarity with the grill, its shape was less than ideal. Overall, the flavors were quite bland. The automatic rice machine felt unnecessary. If there’s anything worth praising, it would be the unagi (eel), which tasted great on its own. However, considering that breakfast costs 2,700 yen per person—it seems like the price is inflated because of the unagi—I wouldn’t opt for breakfast again. That said, I truly enjoyed relaxing in the Room and would consider staying here again if I visit Kyoto in the future!

    This was my first stay. The hotel's location was convenient for getting anywhere. The amenities were relatively well-equipped, and anything missing could be requested at the front desk and promptly provided, which was very helpful. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    Good.

    Check-in took some time as there were many foreign guests. It would be helpful if check-in could also be done at the counter when it's crowded. The Hotel was clean. What about the ukiyo-e-like decorations? Breakfast was delicious, and I ended up eating too much.
