    The breakfast was delicious.

    The eel rice is made to order, and it was even more delicious than expected—I was very satisfied. Even though I was full, I tried the pho as well, and it was also authentic and very tasty. When I visit Nagoya, I’d like to make this my regular Accommodation!

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Both the Room and the entire building were very clean, and the first-floor restaurant area could be used like a living room until 9:00 p.m. There was also something like a summer-style target-shooting corner for children (maybe). Amenities were self-serve from the lobby, and I was happy they also had drip coffee. There was a water dispenser in front of the elevator on the guestroom floor, and it was nice that you could fill the container in the fridge and take it back to your Room. I didn’t use breakfast, but it looked delicious, with Nagoya’s traditional foods included on the menu. Since there was construction around Nagoya Station’s Shinkansen exit and I initially came out on the opposite side from the Hotel, it felt far at first because I wasn’t sure of the location. However, for a casual city Hotel, I think it’s actually on the closer side to Nagoya Station. It was also quiet because it’s away from nightlife areas. For check-in, I received a QR code in advance so I thought it might be unmanned, but staff were usually there. Even though there wasn’t any one specific thing, thoughtful touches in the Room amenities (a larger mirror, a tray for used tea bags/leaves, an adjustable shower hook) made me feel well cared for overall, and I had a very pleasant stay.     Although it was a bit far from the station and I was worried at first, overall it was a good Hotel. In particular, the breakfast menu was energizing and very delicious, and I was very satisfied.

    The breakfast is excellent.

    There are no bottled mineral water bottles in the Room, but there are water dispensers in front of the elevators on each floor, so you can take as much as you want—no problem. Above all, the breakfast is GREAT. Eel rice, miso katsu, tenmusu, pho—everything was delicious! The curry with scallops was also very tasty. I wanted to try all the Nagoya specialties, but it wasn’t possible in just one visit. All the women on the breakfast venue staff were smiling, and I really enjoyed my meal. Amenities like toner and facial cleanser are available for you to pick up what you need, which is very convenient. However, it said a shower cap was available, but there wasn’t one, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, highly rated. I’d like to stay again.

    I want to live here.

    This was my second stay, and even understated, it was outstanding. Last time I took a roundabout route and felt it was far from the station, but this time I came up from the underground level of the building that houses KITTE and reached the Hotel via an air-conditioned route—once outside, it was just a few minutes away. The staff are always very pleasant and kindly explain everything in detail. The Room size is more than sufficient—just right. It had a unit bath, but both the bathtub area and the toilet space were spacious enough. There are cups, glasses, and an electric kettle, and you can pick up as many coffee packs or tea bags as you like at the front desk. It seems there’s also a drink service at the breakfast venue, but I didn’t have time to use it, which was a shame. There’s also a convenience store nearby. One thing I personally love is how many places there are to put things. I like to keep my cosmetics and clothes laid out where I can easily see them during my stay, so having plenty of surfaces makes it truly comfortable. The desk, chair, and mirror are all exactly where you want them—very convenient for skincare and makeup. The Room layout—the design and placement of everything—is really thoughtful. I also appreciate having sturdy slippers instead of those flimsy disposable ones that annoy me. These might be pretty specific preferences, but this Hotel fits me perfectly in every way. I usually don’t bother writing a Review, but this is one Hotel that absolutely makes me want to leave one! I liked it so much that I ended up signing up for membership (lol).

    Your always-satisfying regular Accommodation

    Polite service, delicious food, clean and quiet. It’s becoming my regular Accommodation in Nagoya. I’ll be staying again the month after next. However, the restaurant changes were puzzling—I’m not sure why they were made. Shouldn’t guests be free to choose any seat? Why were the salads and fruit moved to a separate area? Why were the eel rice bowl and pho moved to a live kitchen? They don’t seem any better than when they were on the buffet. That said, the quality is well beyond what you’d expect from a Business Hotel. I was sad that the an-butter sandwich was gone, though…

    A comfortable, great-value Hotel near the station

    This Hotel is conveniently located near the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya Station and is very easy to use. In my Review from my previous stay, I wrote that the air conditioning could not be adjusted, but it seems it actually can. I learned this from the Hotel’s reply, and I’m sorry I gave only three stars. If the air conditioning can be adjusted, I think this is a very comfortable Hotel. It would be perfect if instructions on how to adjust it were written in the Room. The guest Rooms are clean, and I think the amenities you pick up from in front of the front desk are a practical system. The pajamas were also easy to use—many places provide long nightgown-style ones, but these came with pants. All of the staff are very polite and provide pleasant service. There are also convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is helpful. I would like to stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

    A Comfortable Business Hotel

    A convenient Business Hotel where both check-in and check-out can be done automatically. The amenities are available on a shelf in front of the front desk for guests to take what they like, which felt efficient. I stayed in a twin Room on the first night and a single Room on the second; the twin Room was spacious and comfortable, with the bath separate from the toilet. The staff were pleasant, and the Room cleaning was done well. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was fixed by the Hotel and set to fan mode, so it didn’t cool and it felt hot. It was cooler with airflow from the slightly openable window, but not being able to choose the temperature as a guest was inconvenient, so I rated it 3 stars.

    I used this place for fan activities.

    I used the Early Plan. After arriving, I was able to check in and relax before heading to the live show. It’s a little under a 10-minute walk from the station, but there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so the location was great. They kindly explained how to get to the venue, which was very helpful. The amenities included with the Plan were also nice. The Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast included hitsumabushi and kishimen, and the freshly toasted red bean paste & butter toast was especially delicious. After checkout, they kept my Piyorin in their refrigerator for me, and my challenge was a success. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Nagoya next time.

    Satisfied again.

    Thank you again for your hospitality. It’s a 7–8 minute walk from the Shinkansen exit, and I really like that the Room is new and spacious. It’s also helpful to be able to choose only the amenities I need (toothbrush, hairbrush, drip coffee). It may be standard these days, but using the Room key card to access the elevator is another reassuring feature. I’d like to stay here again next time.

    It’s always a great Hotel.

    This is always a clean and wonderful Hotel. I haven’t had lunch here, but it always looks delicious. I avoid it because I tend to overeat. For business travelers, it’s a Hotel you can stay at with confidence.

    A little more.

    The room was clean, well-maintained, and spacious with a private bath, making it comfortable. However, it was dark even during the day, which was disappointing. I plan to request a brighter room next time. The heating did not work even after inserting the card or using the remote control, so it was cold until I called the front desk and they finally turned it on. Later, the heating seemed too strong as 21°C felt quite warm. It might be good to check the heating control system. I looked forward to enjoying Nagoya specialties for breakfast but arrived after 8 AM only to find that the eel rice had run out, which was disappointing. As a member now, I hope for improvements next time!

    This was my second stay. It’s a bit of a walk from Nagoya Station, but it’s quiet and comfortable. Check-in is smooth, and the amenity bar is convenient to use. I’ve stayed at your Hotel in other cities as well, and they are all comfortable. With this year’s historical drama likely boosting Aichi Prefecture's popularity, I hope to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I chose this hotel because the reviews were excellent, I like the Royal Group's restaurant, and the price was very reasonable. The room, bathroom, and table were spacious and well-equipped. However, the smoked glass windows gave me a sense of confinement that I found uncomfortable. It might have been mentioned on the hotel's homepage, but I don't think it was noted on this site. It would have been helpful if it had been more clearly stated. The room we stayed in matched its price point; it was on a low floor (3rd floor) with facilities that seemed appropriate for its category. The restaurant on the first floor had large glass windows offering an open atmosphere with views of bullet trains passing by, making for an enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious with a variety of Nagoya specialties available to enjoy even if you don’t have time to visit other restaurants. Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, it's easy to find as it's almost a straight path along the railway tracks. It was also convenient since we needed to take a bus nearby the next day. Having stayed at several hotels around Nagoya before, I felt that perhaps I relied too much on reviews this time when considering everything overall including staff service. Since there are many hotels in Nagoya to choose from, I'll explore others next time but would consider returning here if given another opportunity!

    The Room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and I appreciated being able to borrow a charger. It was excellent overall. Being able to watch TVer and YouTube on the TV was personally the best part! It was my first time trying Richmond's breakfast, and I was very satisfied as I could enjoy a variety of Nagoya specialties. The only thing that bothered me was that there wasn’t any water in the Room. Every other Richmond I've stayed at had it, so I expected it here as well. I will stay again!

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff were very pleasant, and the Room was clean and spacious. The meals were delicious; however, considering it is flu season, it would be appreciated if the serving and kitchen staff wore masks. Everything else was excellent, so I would love to stay again.

    Delicious meals

    I was able to try all of Nagoya's famous dishes! At first, I thought it would be disappointing not to get a chance to try some due to the crowds, but the next day's meal included hitsumabushi, tenmusu, kishimen, miso katsu, ebi fry, and more—all of which I got to enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely stay here again. The staff even said "Have a nice day" when we left our seats—it was so heartwarming!

    Nothing to complain about.

    As mentioned in many reviews, the breakfast buffet is incredibly delicious. You can enjoy a variety of Nagoya specialties. The open kitchen setup is unique, and you can feel the dedication of the staff, making for a pleasant morning experience. The guest rooms are simple yet very clean, with well-stocked amenities—absolutely nothing to complain about. I will definitely stay here again!

    Upon opening the door, a strong musty smell was noticeable.

    When I opened the door, the entire room was filled with a damp smell. Although there was an air freshener provided, it had no effect. Upon investigating the source of the odor, it turned out to be the shower curtain rather than towels or other items, making it impossible to remove. During use of the sink, toilet, and bathroom, I was constantly bothered by the smell. I hope that shower curtains can be replaced with materials that have deodorizing effects in the future. Having stayed at many accommodations before, this was my first experience like this. It’s unfortunate because I could feel the staff's sincerity through their hospitality, service, cleaning efforts, and breakfast buffet which made for an otherwise pleasant stay.

    Check-in is handled by automated machines, ensuring no issues with human services. Cleanliness is excellent, providing a comfortable stay. The distance from the station felt farther than expected based on the name "Nagoya Shinkansen Exit," but this might be a personal perception.

    This was my first stay at Richmond Hotel, and it was so great that I want to stay again. Apart from feeling a bit far from the station, everything was perfect! There is a convenience store nearby, and the area is relatively quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax. The staff were friendly as well. The automated check-in and check-out process was smooth and convenient. Adjusting the bath temperature and air conditioning caused no stress, and the sheets were clean with excellent housekeeping. There were more places to put belongings than expected, and outlets as well as the hairdryer were easy to locate. The front desk offered a variety of amenities along with coffee and tea available for guests. The price was also reasonable, which I appreciated! Thank you for your hospitality!
