    Friendly and professional reception service.

    Check-in was completed quickly, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. Overall, I felt it offered great value for money.

    The light switch is too bright.

    There are light switches by the bed, and when the lights are turned off the switches glow slightly. Since there are five or six switches, it felt quite bright. I covered them with a pillow to sleep—did the Hotel staff not notice? Also, I appreciated having an air purifier, but it turns off when the lights are turned off. I wanted to keep it running while sleeping.

    Summer Trip to Kagoshima

    All staff were very kind and welcoming, always with a smile. Since it was extremely hot, I really appreciated that the air conditioning was running well when I entered the front desk area at check-in in the evening. There was a welcome drink, and while the Hotel grounds seemed small, it was perfect for us as we were only staying overnight after sightseeing—compact and comfortable. Recently I often choose places with a large public bath, but this time there was a semi-open-air bath, so I could relax without worrying about anything and recover from my fatigue. They had a full lineup of ReFa products; outlets, cables, and towels were provided in two separate areas; it was eco-friendly with no plastic bottles; the alternative cups were easy to use; and there were water dispensers on each floor. I didn’t use them, but it also seemed possible to do laundry and drying. There is a small rooftop area where you can see Sakurajima—I was truly impressed. Great value for money, clean and well maintained, with an excellent location—this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Why is it so affordable?

    I often stay in Kagoshima, and I always check availability here first. The location is excellent—right by both the streetcar stop and the bus stop, and Tenmonkan is just a few minutes’ walk away. On the day of my stay, I was told the parking lot was out of service due to a malfunction, but there was a large multi-story parking garage across the intersection that could be used as an affiliated lot, and the guidance was smooth. The front desk staff were also extremely courteous. The front desk area is small, but the drink service is more than sufficient. The Room is always impeccably cleaned whenever I visit, and the amenities are surprisingly well stocked for the price. It’s rare to find a Hotel that provides that many towels. I don’t want to praise it too much and make it harder to book, but unless you absolutely need a large Room, there’s really nothing to complain about.

    Hotel in Tenmonkan

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The best thing about this Hotel is its unbeatable location right in the heart of Tenmonkan, Kagoshima City’s downtown area—convenient for dining and sightseeing in the city center. I enjoy early-morning walks and exploring the neighborhood, and even the famous Shirokuma in Tenmonkan was just a few minutes away on foot. On the first day, when I stopped by to leave my luggage in advance, they kindly stored it for me. Also, at check-in, my luggage had already been placed in my Room, which was very helpful.

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay. The amenities are plentiful, the location is great, and I really like it. I also appreciate the coffee service. I would like to stay again when I visit Kagoshima.

    To kick off your Kagoshima trip on the first day...

    I stayed here for the first night of my first trip to Kagoshima. The location was great, and I was truly impressed by the pleasant service and thoughtful hospitality from the front desk staff. Since it was the day I went to Izumi to see the cranes, I thought I would only be sleeping there, so I chose my Room based solely on price. Later, I found out there were great options like a Room with a bath on the balcony and a more spacious twin, and I slightly regretted not choosing one of those (haha). Thank you for keeping the Room so clean.

    Good.

    The accommodation is conveniently located near Tenmonkan. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and easy to use. However, I stayed in a compact twin room this time and felt it was a bit small for two people.

    Equipped with services for a comfortable stay.

    Located in a prime area of Tenmonkan, with many delicious restaurants within walking distance. Close to the main store of Shirokuma Kakigori, where we enjoyed dessert after having tonkatsu. The Sakurajima Ferry is also within walking distance, and along the way, you can encounter dolphins in the aquarium waterway. There are plenty of manga available for relaxation before bed. A truly excellent Hotel!

    Spacious!!!

    I reserved a corner room on a high floor. The room was designed to allow the use of slippers, making it very comfortable. The front desk also offered coffee and other services, which made my stay highly satisfying.

    Overall, completely satisfied.

    Although there is no large public bath and the parking lot is a bit difficult to access, everything else was very satisfying. While there is no large public bath, they kindly introduced us to a nearby Onsen, and the staff guided us courteously in the parking area. The location is convenient, being close to Tenmonkan and the city tram station. The guest room was comparable to other Hotels of similar standards, and our child enjoyed the manga corner. The complimentary candies and drink service at the front desk were also delightful. We would love to stay here again when visiting Kagoshima!

    I was very satisfied.

    The ReFa shower head, hairdryer, and various amenities were abundant. Above all, the attentiveness of the front desk staff was exceptional. The semi-open-air bath was also very relaxing. I will definitely use this place again if I have the chance.

    I felt it was clean.

    The clean Room provided a comfortable stay. However, the amenities on the first floor were a bit inconvenient as it was hard to identify them without pulling them out to check.

    ReFa Room Bath Terrace

    I stayed for a multiple night stay during my first trip to Kagoshima. There were three types of ReFa dryers, and since the room can accommodate up to two people, there were plenty of towels for one person. Cleansing products to lotion were available in bottles, so I could minimize my luggage. There were several types of pillows to choose from, and I received a bottle of water as I didn't need cleaning or amenity replenishment during the multiple night stay. The memo provided was thick and convenient to use. The location was close to Tenmonkan and easy to find, with public transportation such as buses being easy to use as well. The only downside was that there was no security box, but I would definitely like to use this property again when traveling in Kagoshima.
