I stay here regularly for work, but had to use it this time due to the busy season. The rooms are average for a Business Hotel, but the service generally does not match the price. The affiliated parking costs extra and has no daily maximum, which leads to unnecessary expense. At checkout, I moved my car out before the meter started and parked briefly at the drop-off area, then checked out, but was unpleasantly reprimanded—overall leaving a bad impression until the end.

It was convenient.
I stayed here for one night before going to Taketomi Island. It was very convenient, close to the bus terminal, the remote island terminal, and the downtown area. The welcome drink in the lobby was a nice way to take a break from the heat outside. The Room bathroom is small, but I was able to stretch out in the large public bath and soothe my travel fatigue. I think this Hotel is recommended for those who want an active stay.

Ideal for island hopping
I stay here because it’s close to the Remote Islands Terminal. Even with an early-morning departure, it’s right in front of the terminal, so I can take my time. This time I made a Reservation for a West Wing Twin Room, but for some reason I was shown to an East Wing Twin Room. Since there were no vacancies for an East Wing Twin Room when I booked, I’m grateful they were able to switch me. However, even in the East Wing there is a distinctive drainage smell. It bothers me every time I enter the bathroom, but it doesn’t reach the Room, so considering the location and price, it’s an acceptable compromise.

The location is excellent.
The location is excellent, right in front of the remote island terminal. The view was great, there was a large public bath, and the staff at the counter were kind and helpful. The elevator that requires a card key was in an unusual location, so I got confused—and it seemed many other guests did too. It would be better if this system were the same as at other Hotels. If I visit Ishigaki Island again, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

We stayed at Misakikan for four nights.
I stayed at Misakikan for four nights. Thank you very much. ○Hotel Staff The staff made a great impression with their consistent greetings, polite language, and attentive service. There are tables and chairs in the lobby, and I often saw them promptly tidying the area each time after guests used it. It felt like a Hotel where strong management principles are truly shared by the staff. ○Room The Room was extremely clean, with thorough housekeeping down to every corner. I was not bothered by noise from upstairs or neighboring Rooms, nor by voices in the hallway. Since this was a Multiple Night Stay, I brought my own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, but the KOSE amenities provided by the Hotel were excellent, so I ended up using those instead. ○Location I went island-hopping every day, and the easy access to the ferry terminal is outstanding. Even after getting exhausted from cycling on other islands and returning to port, it was wonderful to be able to reach the Hotel right in front of me immediately—Maria Shake in hand. After taking a shower and resting for a bit, there is an entertainment district just behind the Hotel—complete with delicious Orion beer waiting for you. When I visit Ishigaki again, this is definitely a Hotel I would like to stay at next time as well.

Very convenient! It was great!
We stayed at Misakikan for five nights in mid-April. Before our stay, we called the sightseeing information counter and asked the staff to arrange tickets for island-hopping, which made it easy to plan a smooth schedule. They were incredibly helpful and gave us thoughtful advice on how to travel between the islands comfortably. Thanks to them, we were able to visit all the places we wanted efficiently, and we truly appreciate it. It’s great that this Hotel has such dedicated sightseeing information counter staff. Misakikan is a newer building, so the Room was very clean and well maintained. It felt a bit small compared with the Hotels we usually use when traveling, but we had a Room with a great view and stayed comfortably. It is also conveniently located next to both the remote island terminal and the bus terminal. We once went to a tour meeting point an hour early by mistake, but because it was so close, we could return to our Room to rest before heading out again, which helped us avoid getting too tired. The amenities were somewhat limited, but since we brought our own cleansing oil and toner, it wasn’t an issue. We highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone planning sightseeing on Ishigaki Island or island-hopping trips.

Your Regular Accommodation on Ishigaki Island
The location is convenient, and the service is generally good, so this is my go-to Accommodation when staying on Ishigaki Island. Perhaps because it’s a relatively large Facility, it seems to be used by many group tour guests. Because of that, the breakfast venue may get crowded during the earlier time slots used by tour groups. That said, there are plenty of seats, so shifting your time a bit should help. Although it’s described as having two breakfast venues (Japanese set meals and buffet), it seems that breakfast is usually served only at the buffet venue. The breakfast dishes include many local specialties, and the overall selection feels moderate to fairly extensive. The complimentary water is limited to one plastic bottle per person per stay, so please note this if you are on a Multiple Night Stay. If you request “no Room cleaning” at the front desk during a Multiple Night Stay, you can receive an in-house dining voucher (not valid for purchasing goods) worth either JPY 1,000 or JPY 500 per person per stay (I can’t recall which). This likely does not apply if you are staying under an eco Plan. Inside the property there are: A large public bath (herbal bath? not an Onsen) Restaurants (three in total including the annex) A shop (including Minsah weaving items; a wide variety and good selection) A tour desk (Please note staff often seem to be absent; discount tickets are sold for the planetarium, limestone cave, and Kabira Bay glass-bottom boat). This Facility operates across three buildings: West Wing, East Wing, and Misaki Wing. By the way, for this Reservation I left a request message asking for “a higher floor with a relatively good view,” but I was assigned a Room on the 6th floor—the lowest level among the high floors—so I was a bit disappointed. Still, it was a corner Room with an open feel, which I appreciated.

A convenient Hotel near the remote island terminal.
After staying one night on Taketomi Island, I chose this Hotel to go to the BEGIN live show. It said it was close, and it really was right in front of the venue. It also had a tropical vibe, and rolling my luggage there wasn’t a hassle. They kindly stored my luggage for me, so I went shopping at Euglena Mall. Since both Euglena Mall and the Civic Hall (the concert venue) are within walking distance, it was very convenient. The Room was a bit small, but I decided it was fine since I only needed it for sleeping. The bath and toilet were combined, which was slightly inconvenient, but there is also a large public bath, and I appreciated that it was available from 6:00 a.m. in the morning. The breakfast buffet was very delicious with a good selection, and I was satisfied.

Your go-to Accommodation on Ishigaki Island
This Accommodation is convenient in many ways. I think you’ll be given the information you need with care. I’ve only ever met staff who were genuinely pleasant. However, this time I had an issue. It was my first time experiencing this here, but the bathtub drained poorly and it was quite inconvenient.

Thank you for your support.
I stayed a bit longer than usual and was very satisfied. Breakfast offered a rotating daily menu, so I never got tired of it. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. This time I mainly used local buses, and the bus terminal was conveniently close, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you very much—I’ll be back again.

Great location. Plenty of dining options nearby. Large public bath available.

Overall, I’m satisfied!
I stayed here after another Resort Hotel and took advantage of the convenient access, including visiting a nearby island before my evening flight.\nI had made a Reservation for a Room in the East Wing, but they upgraded me to the newest building!\nThe Room was small, which is understandable, but it was new and clean. Breakfast was also delicious. I used the large public bath at night and in the morning, and it really helped me recover from fatigue.\nTwo things concerned me: cigarette smoke drifting in from the connecting corridor, and a lot of hair on the floor in the changing area of the public bath. Since everything else was so satisfying, that was disappointing.

A convenient base for traveling to the remote islands (Hateruma Island, Iriomote Island, and Kohama Island).
I originally made a Reservation as a base for visiting the remote islands, but I was extremely satisfied—the Hotel’s Facility, service, breakfast, and more exceeded my expectations. With easy access from the airport and multiple transportation options to get around the island and reach sightseeing spots, the location is also excellent. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

A Hotel in a Prime Location with a Satisfying Breakfast
The location was excellent, with the remote island terminal and bus terminal nearby, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, so even first-time visitors to Ishigaki won’t have any trouble. This time we were upgraded to the Misaki Building, and while the Room was simple, it was easy to use and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered Okinawan dishes as well and was very satisfying, and the large public bath helped us relax after our trip. I think this is a Hotel with a great balance of convenience and comfort.

With excellent access to the remote island terminal, it’s the perfect base if you plan to visit multiple islands from Ishigaki Island! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so you’ll never have trouble finding somewhere delicious to eat!

Stayed for one night...
Stayed for one night, stayed on another island, and then returned to this hotel. I forgot my watch on the futon but thought it might be in the luggage I left behind. After checking upon my return, it wasn't there, so I asked the front desk later. They had it. If they knew which room and guest were returning to stay again, a notification would have been appreciated. If I hadn't asked, it probably would have stayed that way.

Thank you.
My flight was delayed that day, and I arrived at the Hotel around 8 PM. They secretly upgraded my Room (I realized later...), which allowed me to enjoy a partial view of the harbor and relax while watching the sunset over the sea. The building is a bit old, but the bathroom in the Room was clean, and above all, the location is excellent. The staff were also very kind. Thank you very much!

This hotel is very c...
This hotel is very convenient and leaves a good impression. I have not used the large bath. Currently, I am staying in a slightly more expensive room type. However, since I wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful summer sea, I chose this room type with an Eco Multiple Night Stay Breakfast Plan for the first time in a while. The view of the summer sea from the upper floors on a clear day was exceptionally beautiful and soothing. (Note: The sea extends beyond the port scenery, so it is not a private beach nor does it have sandy shores. Please be aware of this.) With the Eco Plan, cleaning inside the room is generally (if I recall correctly) not provided for up to 3 nights. Instead, towel and pajama exchanges as well as trash disposal are handled outside your door. This makes it convenient as there’s no need to pack belongings daily. I believe all staff members provide excellent service. There are also some foreign staff members visible here and there; they leave no bad impression and seem to be doing their best. Next to reception is a helpful tour desk that sells discounted tickets for various tourist facilities. For example, I once purchased discounted tickets for Ishigaki Island's limestone cave and planetarium (located within the passenger terminal; depending on programs, live narration by staff may be provided—this facility is one of my favorites). The hotel’s proximity to Ishigaki Island's main shopping streets makes shopping or choosing restaurants outside relatively easy without much trouble during your stay. You can also easily find your way to FamilyMart located on Ishigaki Island's main street without getting lost. Near FamilyMart are fast-food chains or shops featuring Ishigaki Island or Okinawa brands where you can enjoy food tours or souvenir shopping too! Additionally, right next to this hotel's main entrance or at nearby parks during summer nights only once do flowers bloom before scattering by morning—this fleeting beauty of "Sakasabana" became one delightful memory from my trip this time around! Thank you very much for allowing me such wonderful moments during my stay here! P.S.: Just in case anyone reading prefers Resort Hotels—it might depend on personal preferences—but overall personally speaking—I think highly positively about this hotel experience overall! However...there were minor dissatisfactions too: Placing pajamas directly atop laundry bags placed over bedspread protectors feels unhygienic which made me uncomfortable unfortunately!

Regular Accommodation in Ishigaki Island
Conveniently located and great for shopping, with excellent service from the staff, this has become my regular accommodation in Ishigaki Island. However, to be honest, there are occasional moments when calling where I feel a lack of knowledge might lead to some confusion. The front desk staff generally provide good service. The tour desk next to the front desk also offers excellent assistance and provides discounted tickets for attractions such as limestone caves, Kabira Bay glass-bottom boats, and the planetarium inside the ferry terminal. There is a shop that sells souvenirs, crafts, clothing, Blue Seal ice cream products, drinks, etc., as well as a large bath facility. Although there is a time limit on it, the lobby features a welcome drink corner where you can refresh yourself immediately upon arrival—very thoughtful. Depending on your room type, amenities may not be pre-installed in your room; however, an amenity bar is available near the front desk (complete with paper bags for easy carrying back to your room). This time was my first experience encountering an issue—the bathtub drainage was very poor and caused some inconvenience. I forgot to mention this during checkout but would like to request better maintenance here. Due to this issue alone (and not reflective of usual experiences), I have rated the bathroom slightly lower despite receiving an upgraded room—my apologies for mentioning it here. Please note that such issues are rare and should not cause misunderstanding among other guests!

Stayed for one night...
Stayed for one night from February 12th. A younger male staff member who assisted with the travel memory book left a very good impression. However, all other accommodation staff on duty were unfriendly. Even modern business hotels provide skincare products in the room or public bath, but there was nothing here. The reason for not having them in the public bath seems to be due to infection control measures. The room was upgraded—thank you for that. However, there was a strong moldy smell... The ceiling was covered in mold, and there were bloodstains on the bed blanket... It was shocking and unsettling. I didn’t request a room change because it was just one night and I felt that if I received poor service during such a request, it would make me feel even worse. Please refer to the attached photos as evidence. The meals were comparable to those of an average business hotel, and the public bath wasn’t impressive—just an ordinary business hotel-level facility. In conclusion: no redeeming qualities at all.

Convenient in many ways
Basically, it is recommended to visit this Property as a place similar to a Business Hotel rather than a Resort Hotel. The location is convenient, so I think the Accommodation Fee is slightly higher. The Room is not particularly spacious either. However, I believe the hospitality mindset of the staff compensates for these shortcomings, making it my regular Property on Ishigaki Island. In the lobby, there is a self-service station offering Awamori, Sanpin tea, and Shikuwasa drinks from daytime until slightly later in the evening. Additionally, there is a very helpful tour desk available. However, depending on the type of Room or Plan, and if you skip cleaning (regardless of the number of guests, you receive a 1,000-yen coupon per Room for use within the Property), you won’t receive bottled water after the first day of your stay, which I find a bit disappointing—am I the only one? Moreover, at check-in, I have never been informed in advance about the difference in water provision based on the type of Room or Plan. As a result, unless you inquire, you won’t know the difference between receiving water daily or only on the first day. Also, while soundproof windows seem to be used, in some Rooms, you can still faintly hear loud voices from nearby izakayas past 1 a.m. However, this is an issue of the manners of outsiders at nearby establishments, so there’s nothing the Hotel can do about it, and it’s something you just have to endure, which is frustrating. Furthermore, there are three types of buildings. In the East Wing, I believe, there is about a 20cm step between the bathroom and the living area entrance. For breakfast, a variety of dishes that give you a sense of Okinawa are offered. I’m also happy that three types of ice cream are provided. However, at a Hotel a bit farther away, there was an ice candy service in the lobby. I feel the breakfast here is slightly less impressive compared to that, so I hope they can improve just a little more. That said, it’s still a sufficiently good breakfast buffet. All in all, I think the hospitality mindset and the content of the Facility here are superior.

Please improve the Wi-Fi environment.
During my stay in October, I found that the Wi-Fi in the west wing Room was completely unusable. When I mentioned this at check-in, I was moved to the Misaki wing. However, the Wi-Fi there was also completely non-functional, and I couldn't even make phone calls. For a Hotel, the strength and speed of Wi-Fi are extremely important. Miyahira has excellent accessibility, which makes this issue all the more disappointing. If the Wi-Fi environment is not improved, I may not choose Miyahira in the future. I kindly request urgent improvements.

The Wi-Fi is weak.
I stayed in September and repeated my stay in October. The access was convenient as it is right in front of the bus stop, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. Last time, I stayed in a Room close to the elevator hall and could use Wi-Fi without any issues, but this time, the Wi-Fi in my Room did not work at all, which was very inconvenient. I had to move my tablet to the door to barely get a connection. The strength of the Wi-Fi is very important when choosing a Hotel, so I strongly hope for improvements. Also, I stayed in the West Wing, but I was told that the microwave is only available in the East Wing, which was inconvenient. I would appreciate it if you could place one in the West Wing as well. Thank you for your hospitality. If the Wi-Fi situation improves, I will visit again.

I stayed for 3 Multiple Night Stay. The breakfast was delicious. The convenience was great, and I was able to efficiently enjoy cycling, snorkeling, and a day trip to Hateruma Island. It was a very satisfying stay in Ishigaki Island. During my stay, being able to do laundry was helpful. (I forgot and left a shirt hanging in the Room.)

Ishigaki Island Hotel is too expensive.
It is a very old Hotel, and it seems there is a new building, but I stayed in the old building. The passage from the front desk, which clearly shows the extension, was hard to navigate. The Room had a strong Showa-era vibe, with a tiled bathroom, inconveniently placed outlets, and futons that made me itch as if something was living in them. There was nothing good about it except for the location. This price is outrageous for what it offers.

Near the remote island terminal
Stayed for 2 nights with my elementary school daughter due to its proximity to the remote island terminal. The convenience is excellent. The Room being old is understandable, but the bathroom had a lot of mold and poor ventilation, so washed laundry didn’t dry. The laundry machines were also limited in number, leading to long waits and significant time loss. Additionally, the toilet sometimes didn’t flush unless pressed multiple times... The changing room in the public bath had a lot of hair on the floor and was wet, lacking a sense of cleanliness. I used it reluctantly, thinking it was slightly better than the bathroom in the Room. Overall, the lack of cleanliness makes me unlikely to use this place again. Would the new building be better?

Hajimiyahira
I had always wanted to try staying here but had the impression that it was expensive. However, this time I found an affordable Plan for the west wing and booked it, heading to the Property. At the check-in counter, I was informed, "There is availability in the new building, so please stay there," which deeply moved me. The Property was spacious, clean, and provided excellent detailed services. I would love to stay here again.
