    Nagoya Sightseeing

    I stayed here for sightseeing, but the service at check-in was a bit unsatisfactory. The Room and bath were very satisfying, so it was a shame.

    We hope for improvements in the management of rental equipment.

    I stayed on the ladies’ floor, but despite being told that steam irons are placed in the corridor on each floor, there was none on the ladies’ floor. I went to look on other floors, but the regular elevator could not access every floor, so I had to open a door covered with protective plastic sheeting due to construction and take a different elevator. I searched all floors from the 4th to the 8th just to borrow an iron, and finally managed to secure one on the last floor. It was not a garment steamer that can be used while clothes are hanging; it was a type that requires carrying an ironing board and a heavy iron back to the Room. You have to carry it through long corridors and heavy doors, and return it to the original floor after use. When I tried to return it on checkout morning, I couldn’t use the dedicated elevator and didn’t know what to do, but a housekeeping staff member kindly took care of returning it for me. The hair iron was unavailable both nights because it was already checked out. If you plan to use one, I recommend checking in early. The Room faced a wall of the neighboring building outside the window, so there was very little sunlight and it felt quite dark. I understand that not being able to use the public bath due to construction couldn’t be helped, but considering these conditions, JPY 16,000 per night felt somewhat overpriced. Breakfast was excellent. Officially it seems to start at 6:45, but they opened at 6:40 which really helped. The food was delicious as well. Even though they were busy, all staff members handled various requests for me kindly, which I truly appreciated.

    A Business Hotel in an Excellent Location

    The rooms are small. Although the building has been renovated and looks clean, the guest room, shower, and wash area are all too cramped. The most difficult parts were the sink and the shower: the shower is so narrow that you can’t turn around, and the sink area is so small that my toiletry pouch fell to the floor. The large public bath and sauna were under renovation and unavailable. Perhaps because the building is old, there was a slight sewage smell when entering the room. It’s very close to Meitetsu Kanayama Station, which was convenient for my trip, but it felt overpriced.

    The complimentary extras were a nice touch.

    It’s a typical Business Hotel, and the Room is small. Access to the ice machine on another floor isn’t convenient either (I almost got locked out via the emergency stairs). However, the complimentary in-room amenities and the free invitation to a partner spa that I happened to find through the Hotel information on the in-room TV (with Shuttle Service) were excellent. (The large public bath inside the Hotel isn’t particularly appealing.) What’s puzzling is that at check-in there was no explanation about how to get to the ice machine or how to use the partner spa. Especially for the latter—you miss out if you don’t notice it.

    This is my go-to Accommodation in Nagoya!

    I stayed here for a live show at Nagoya Comtec Port Base. Getting from Kanayama Station, the nearest station to the Hotel, to the venue was smooth and very convenient. In the underground area of Kanayama Station, there is Komparu, famous for its fried shrimp sandwich. Since I wanted to relax at the Hotel after the show, I got it as takeout for dinner. Because this is a ladies’ floor, it was easy to get to the large public bath, which was great. The changing area and bathing area were both clean, so I could unwind with peace of mind. Another thing I like about this Hotel is that you can take off your shoes and relax in the room. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options, and I enjoyed it from early in the morning. This is my go-to Hotel in Nagoya. Thank you as always—I look forward to staying again!

    This will be my go-to Accommodation in Nagoya!

    I’ve stayed here before, and the location right by the station is excellent. There’s a large public bath, it’s close to Nagoya Station, and Kanayama itself is lively with plenty of shops (restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, etc.)—it honestly feels livable! There are also souvenir shops at the station, so it’s perfect. When I was assigned to the ladies-only floor, the large public bath was on the same floor, which made getting around incredibly easy. I’d love to stay again!

    Conveniently located near the station.

    The location was excellent, right in front of Kanayama Station, and I felt safe with the women-only floor. Late at night I could sometimes hear voices in the hallway, but that probably depends on other guests. The large public bath was a nice bonus, and the Room also had a shower booth, so everything you need was compact and easy to use. Breakfast was good overall, except there was no cereal. The only disappointing part was that the loungewear/pajamas were smaller than at any Hotel I’ve stayed at before. I’m close to 170 cm tall and prefer relaxed sleepwear, but I’d never had trouble wearing Business Hotel pajamas until this stay, so it surprised me. Even considering it as in-house wear, it was far too short and uncomfortable. They did exchange the size for me, but it seems the size is automatically decided based on the gender entered at booking—I'd like to be able to request a preferred size when making a reservation. Since they are 3/4-length pants, being too small is much more likely to be an issue than being too large, and these days many places offer unisex sizing for in-house wear.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    It was close to the station, making it easy to get around. There were many shops nearby, which was very convenient. I was happy that the amenities included cooling leg sheets, MegRhythm steam eye masks, and a face mask! As I had seen in other Reviews, breakfast was very satisfying. The staff at the breakfast venue were also polite and left a good impression. Overall I’m satisfied, but what disappointed me was that someone entered the large public bath with a bath towel wrapped around them and then wrung it out in the tub when leaving. It felt unhygienic, but since there are no posted bath manners/rules in foreign languages, I suppose it can’t be helped. I would like to stay here again.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the station with easy access. The women's floor allows for safe and comfortable movement from the room to the bath. The meals were very delicious, and I would love to stay again during my next business trip.

    Stayed for a live event at the Village Hall. Although my last visit was before COVID, the accommodation remains clean and comfortable both inside the building and in the room. The room had wooden flooring, but I appreciated that disposable slippers were provided, making it easy to relax without shoes. My feet felt very comfortable. I booked a ladies' room, which made moving to the large bath convenient and safe—this was very helpful. Using the amenities provided in the room allowed me to rest well at night. Breakfast was served in a spacious venue with a wide variety of menu options, allowing me to enjoy it leisurely and deliciously. Thank you to all Hotel staff for providing such a pleasant experience! I have already made next year’s reservation—looking forward to staying again!

    I entered the Room and looked for the refrigerator, but I couldn’t find it for a while. It was right by the Room entrance... I gave up and was about to go outside, then found it when I got to the door.

    Clean and calm atmosphere, very pleasant.

    I had a comfortable stay. Since it is new, the overall impression is clean and calm. The room is not spacious, and the shower booth and washbasin are small, but it’s fine for one person. As I stayed in a women-only room, the large public bath was on the same floor, which was very convenient. The breakfast was also delicious.

    I had a very comfort...

    I had a very comfortable stay! Thank you so much! The Room was not large, but it was perfect for one person, clean, and relaxing. It’s amazing that the Business Hotel has a large public bath (spa)! The women’s area had excellent security, so I felt safe. The site mentioned that there are no women’s amenities outside the women-only floor, but I appreciated that they were handed to me at the reception. (It might be helpful to note this on the site for everyone’s peace of mind.)

    It is clean.

    The property is new and overall very clean. The modern design features a shower booth instead of a bathtub, making the bathroom area compact. The placement of the mirror and refrigerator is inconvenient. The large public bath has about six washing stations, making it user-friendly and unlikely to get overly crowded. Breakfast at the restaurant is organized with staggered entry times, ensuring smooth seating arrangements as there are plenty of seats available. While the variety of dishes isn't extensive, it's sufficient for most guests. However, in Nagoya, you might consider skipping breakfast here and exploring other options nearby. Conveniently located near the station. At night, you may hear motorcycle noise from outside.

    I was able to sleep ...

    I was able to sleep soundly in a calm environment. With Kanayama Station and the downtown area nearby, and it seeming like the surrounding Rooms were fully booked, this was an unexpected delight. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, with no unpleasant odors—very comfortable. Breakfast was during a quiet time, so I enjoyed it comfortably at a seat on the 10th floor with a view. All of the staff were kind. In particular, thank you for your quick and considerate help when I contacted you about something I left behind—it was a great help.

    A clean Business Hotel.

    I chose to stay here due to many reviews mentioning a clean business hotel with a large public bath. The accommodation is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Kanayama Station. Although the room was small, it was clean and well-maintained, which gave me peace of mind. However, the large public bath was lukewarm, and it was disappointing that young foreign guests were being noisy. The breakfast was typical for a business hotel and of the quality you'd expect from complimentary offerings. This is an ideal accommodation for those prioritizing accessibility.

    It was more comfortable than I imagined.

    This was my first stay. First of all, the access from the nearest station is excellent. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is high, and there is a great sense of security in the lobby, room, bathhouse, and breakfast restaurant. The single room is not particularly spacious, but it has a raised floor area where you can take off your shoes before entering the room, which adds to its cleanliness. The large bathhouse is also reasonably spacious and comfortable for a business hotel. I would like to stay at this property again.

    There are various issues.

    The response of the hotel front staff is subpar. When sitting on the bed in the room, the mattress springs creak, and footsteps of the guests above can be heard from the ceiling. Everything is unsatisfactory. What is going on?

    The other places were expensive, and this one was cheap, so I had no choice, but it's so, so, small. You could call it compact, but it's kind of laughable, isn't it?

    I stayed after reading the Reviews, but

    For the first time in a while, I encountered a terrible Hotel. The response at the front desk upon arrival was awful. When I gave my last name, they rudely asked, "What's your first name?" without using polite language, handed me the breakfast ticket and Room key, and that was it! Even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, there was no Room cleaning on the second night, and there was no guidance about the public bath or dining area. I thought an automated check-in machine would have been better than this. I believe the re-education of the Hotel staff is absolutely necessary. On the first day, the tissue in the Room was running low, and I used it up. The next day, I went to the front desk with my Room key to request a new one, and again, they responded with, "What's your name?" It seemed as though the staff at this Hotel were suspicious of everyone, as if they believed non-guests were wandering around the Property. I stay in Nagoya about five times a month for work, but I don't think I will ever stay at this Hotel again.

    A new and lovely Hotel right by the station!

    New and clean! The convenience is incredible as it's right in front of the station! There's a McDonald's and FamilyMart under the Hotel, and a Lawson, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, shopping mall, and AEON nearby... It's really convenient! There's also a restaurant called Yuzen that serves ankake pasta! Even though it's in a busy area, once you enter the Room and turn on the TV, you won't be bothered by outside noise! The Room has a raised floor, making it comfortable to stay in! It's a shame the Wi-Fi was hard to connect to. The hairdryer in the large public bath had a strong airflow, which was great! I want to visit again!

    The location is excellent.

    The location was excellent, making it very convenient for transportation and dining at night. The front desk staff were mainly foreigners, but they were all kind. The large public bath was spacious and comfortable, and the changing room was clean and easy to use. On the other hand, the breakfast was not particularly noteworthy and left an ordinary impression. Additionally, it was very disappointing that the accessory forgotten in the guest room was not found. Other than that, it was a generally satisfying stay.

    The proximity to the station and ease of use are outstanding.

    When you exit Kanayama Station, the Hotel is right in front of you. Nagoya Station is too large and crowded, but Kanayama is just one express stop away on Meitetsu or JR. It's conveniently located for Atsuta Shrine and Sakae. The security is high, with elevators requiring a card and a ladies' floor available. Most surprising was the Hotel with a large public bath near the station. Although I couldn't enter late at night, it was open from early morning, allowing me to relax alone in the big bath. As for breakfast, while some places don't have tasty rice recently, here the rice is delicious, and there are many side dishes to accompany it, making it impossible to try everything in one stay. I would like to stay again if I have another business trip. The checkout system allows you to leave quickly by placing the card key in a box. The staff is efficient and the Hotel has a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast is wonderful.

    I searched for a property with good transportation access and a large public bath in Nagoya city. The public bath is not spacious, but it is comfortable, and the breakfast offers a variety of options, which was nice. If I can complete the reservation, I would like to make it my regular stay in Nagoya.

    Almost perfect.

    I stayed for two nights on a solo trip. On the ladies' floor, I could move around in room wear and slippers, which was relaxing. The bath was unexpectedly large, and since I entered early in the evening, I was able to relax comfortably. The breakfast was well-prepared, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I thought the room (without a bathtub) was small, but considering the price, it was sufficient. The amenities were also well-stocked. The location and price are almost perfect, but the minus star is for the service at the front desk (male) upon arrival. I don't need forced friendliness, but I would have liked a level of service that allowed for a pleasant experience. During my stay, I was satisfied enough that the initial discomfort disappeared (laughs).

    Matter-of-fact.

    I stayed here on a sudden business trip while looking for a hotel around Kanayama Station. I stayed in a Queen's Double on the ladies' floor. At check-in, there was no particular explanation of the facilities or breakfast guidance, just a straightforward process where I signed if there were no mistakes in the tablet's terms. I was handed a key and told to hold it up to the elevator. Well, I could look things up in the room, so that was fine... However, there was no explanation about "Yutopia Takarazuka," which I had researched beforehand, so I thought the service might have been discontinued and decided not to use it. For some reason, I couldn't use my PC in the room... I was disappointed that I couldn't watch Netflix, WOWOW, or Amazon Prime on the TV. When I went out for dinner and came back, the "Yutopia Takarazuka" bus was parked in front of the hotel!! There was no one at the front desk, and while the free service might have been discontinued, it seemed the bus was still there. I felt disappointed thinking that if they had explained it at check-in, I would have gone... By the way, there are no brochures in the room. I reluctantly went to the hotel's large bath. Before that, when I opened the fridge to chill the drinks I bought, there was a hair. What bothers me in a hotel room is someone else's hair. It was really unpleasant. So, I didn't use the fridge. There was only one other person using the large bath besides me. In the morning, there was no one, so I could take my time, which was nice. Although there were some disappointing aspects, the bed was spacious, and I could sleep comfortably.

    The location is great, and the nearby parking is very convenient. The staff's service was excellent, and the restaurants within the hotel were very delicious and satisfying. However, the room felt a bit dim, and the bathroom also seemed a little dark. I was looking forward to breakfast because the hotel's restaurants are very tasty, but the breakfast was just average. Nonetheless, the staff's service was good, and I was able to check out pleasantly. I look forward to staying again when I visit Kanayama.
