    Your regular Accommodation in Hikarigaoka

    One of my regular places to stay in Tokyo. A Hotel located close to Hikarigaoka. While the Facilities and overall condition are somewhat dated, there are few other Hotels in Tokyo where you can relax in a reasonably spacious room. Also, checkout is always set until 12:00 noon, which is very convenient when meeting friends.

    Reasonably priced in the suburbs of Tokyo

    Stayed using the train, but walking to the Accommodation is quite a trek. The Shuttle Service runs once an hour, which is convenient, though you still need to walk a little over 20 minutes along well-maintained sidewalks in a suburban Tokyo bedroom community. The Facility has a Showa-era feel, and the front desk and other staff were attentive. On-site shops had limited hours and selection, and an item I planned to buy was sold out. The Room was a twin, so it was spacious enough. What surprised me was that the beds were very low and felt lower quality than even today’s budget business hotels. Everything was well maintained and clean, but this was a significant downside. The area is quiet, and since my stay was from Sunday to Monday, it wasn’t crowded, which was nice. Breakfast matched the price—nothing elaborate—and both the variety and portions were reasonable. The dining area was spacious, so I could eat at a relaxed pace. Hotels with an attached restaurant often highlight signature dishes, but I didn’t see anything like that here. The coffee machine wasn’t very intuitive to use and the taste was average. On the other hand, there was a wide selection of tea bags and they were good quality. I think this Hotel is well suited for families visiting an amusement park nearby. The staff’s communication felt very warm overall, which left a strong impression and helped create a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay.

    Satisfied with my stay in Tokyo after a long time.

    The front desk staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient, making check-in very pleasant. Both the room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned, and I was very satisfied with how spotless everything felt.

    The bathroom was disappointing.

    The Room was spacious, which was nice, but the bathroom was truly disappointing. The design looks good, but because the hot and cold water are controlled by separate handles, adjusting the temperature was extremely difficult. Adding even a little cold water makes it lukewarm, and if you don’t add any, it gets far too hot. To get from the shower area to the bathtub you have to open the shower door, but since it opens outward (and the glass door is heavy), even with a bath mat on the floor, opening the door pushes and drags the mat. As a result, the marble floor stays wet and becomes very slippery. My daughter actually fell hard and hit the back of her head, so I would say this layout is very dangerous. It was not only inconvenient to use but also slippery and unsafe—the worst possible bathroom setup. Also, while the Room itself was spacious, the extra bed was far too narrow to sleep on comfortably. There was no child toilet seat adapter and no pajamas provided either, so it’s not suitable for families with children. The amenities were fairly standard, but despite feeling like an upscale Hotel overall, it was disappointing that they provided an all-in-one soap commonly found in a Business Hotel (used as both face wash and hand soap). It dries out your hands badly and isn’t really usable as either hand soap or face wash; I strongly think they should not provide it because it lowers the perceived quality of the Hotel.

    It was a very nice Hotel. The staff, including those at the front desk, provided excellent and courteous service. This is a Hotel where you can stay with peace of mind. I would love to use it again. Thank you very much.

    Perfect for those who want to reminisce about the Showa era.

    The overall impression is reminiscent of the Showa era, for better or worse. It is convenient for group use, events such as weddings and funerals, or those prioritizing proximity to nearby facilities. However, it may feel slightly lacking for those looking to enjoy the hotel stay itself. This is a six-story low-rise hotel with relatively spacious rooms. While all furniture is old, it remains sturdy. Instead of pajamas, yukata are provided. I stayed in a twin room where each bed had one pillow with different firmness levels—one firm and one soft—rather than two pillows per bed like in typical business hotels. This might cause discomfort for some guests. There are power outlets near the bedside that require switching on to use. Wi-Fi is available and set up individually for each room; connection details are displayed on a tablet inside the room. Complimentary mineral water is not provided, so guests should purchase it beforehand if needed. Slippers are reused; bring disposable ones if preferred. Breakfast was included but gave an impression similar to supermarket deli sections—neither particularly good nor bad. On New Year’s morning, a pot labeled "meat tofu" contained pumpkin stew mixed with soy meat—the same dish served in the same spot during breakfast the previous day—which suggests it may have been left unchanged overnight. There wasn’t much of a festive touch for New Year’s Day aside from zenzai being added to the menu—a bit disappointing compared to other business hotels that often offer special breakfasts on this occasion. Note that cappuccino drinks come pre-sweetened; those who prefer unsweetened options should be cautious. Although I had prepaid through IKYU.com, I was surprised when asked to pay again at check-in due to possible miscommunication between systems—something worth keeping an eye on! Additionally, accommodation tax must be paid separately at checkout. While not modern or new by any means, this hotel offers reliability and comfort suitable for stays with elderly family members—it could also work well for milestone celebrations like 60th birthday photo shoots. In terms of transportation: taking a taxi from Ogikubo Station North Exit takes about 20 minutes and proves surprisingly convenient since Ogikubo serves as both Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line's terminus station and JR Chuo Line's major stop—a straightforward location overall! Alternatively take bus route <Neri42> bound via Nerima Station (Tanihara Ni) towards Narimasu-cho; alight directly outside "Hotel Cadenza Tokyo."

    This hotel is located away from the city center and falls between a business hotel and a casual hotel. The rooms are spacious, the facilities such as the restaurant are well-equipped, and it offers great cost performance for its price. Rather than staying at an expensive business hotel in the city center just for its location, I would choose this place again even if it's slightly farther away.

    I made a Reservation for my husband as he attended a friend's wake and funeral in Itabashi. This was our first time using your service, and my husband was very pleased, saying the place was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff provided polite and attentive service, making his stay pleasant. As the one who made the Reservation on his behalf, I also felt relieved.

    The cleanliness is excellent.

    This is my second stay. The parking lot is easy to use, the facility is clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The room's amenities are excellent, and I enjoyed a relaxing bath. The bed linens were clean, allowing for a restful sleep. I will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tokyo.

    Comfortable Hotel in Hikarigaoka

    A conveniently located Hotel near Hikarigaoka Station on the Oedo Line. Offers a very comfortable stay. The restaurant attached to the Hotel (a Chinese restaurant on that day) was closed, possibly due to weekday usage. This seemed like a thoughtful and modern management decision, leaving a positive impression. The amenity pick-up style at the front desk is also quite convenient. Comfortable, restful, and pleasant stay!

    Very comfortable

    Stayed at the accommodation due to a family move. I was surprised by the very affordable accommodation cost. The meals were delicious, and next time I stay, I’d like to take my time and relax. It was unfortunate that the shower water pressure was low, but everything else was really great.

    Convenient for studio tours

    I used this accommodation to visit Studio Tour Tokyo. It is within walking distance from Hikarigaoka Station, even while pulling a caster bag, and there are convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient. The direct bus to the studio was very helpful. The Shuttle Service to the station was also great, as they kindly explained the routes in an easy-to-understand manner. Thank you for your assistance. Having a microwave on each floor would be helpful for late dinners after sightseeing. Although the twin room with an extra bed felt a bit cramped, the friendly service from the front desk staff and during breakfast made the stay pleasant. I would like to use this accommodation again.

    It is a bit far from the city center, but convenient if you have a private car.

    The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The parking lot is spacious, and even large vehicles can park easily, but the slopes for moving at the entrance, exit, and intermediate floors are tight. If you drive carefully, there is no problem even with a wagon type. If there are no oncoming cars, there is absolutely no problem. There was no problem with the stay itself, but the amenities were a little disappointing... However, they are worth the price. For those not familiar with Tokyo, using the parking plan and taking the subway to areas like Aoyama, Omotesando, and the National Stadium is an option. Overall, there were no problems, and I was able to stay comfortably. It is a hotel where you can stay without hesitation. (It is a hotel that is safe for a woman traveling alone.) I plan to use it again when heading to the Tokyo area.
