    The Onsen was amazing.

    Perhaps because it was the hot season, the Onsen was pleasantly uncrowded every time we went, which was wonderful! There were many types of baths, and we enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. The Room felt a bit dated and small, but we only needed it for sleeping. The staff were kind, and when we left we even received a handwritten thank-you letter—it truly warmed our hearts. Thank you very much.

    So it was a Route Inn Hotel!

    I used this Hotel for sightseeing at Himeji Castle. Since the Hotel name included “Castle,” I made a Reservation because it advertised a natural Onsen. The castle itself took over 30 minutes on foot, but I was glad I could still visit safely. The natural Onsen had no open-air bath and felt a bit dim. However, there were two types of saunas, so I was able to relax. The Room was in typical Route Inn Hotel style—spacious enough with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was also good, featuring ingredients from Banshu throughout.

    Great value for money

    Depending on the Room you choose, it may feel a bit small. Due to the L-shaped layout, the window faces another Room on the same floor, making it difficult to open the curtains. The front desk service was excellent, and the large public bath with a sauna was outstanding. Free parking is also a nice touch, with a one-hour grace period before and after check-in/check-out. This is a Hotel I would like to use again.

    Limited amenities provided.

    The large public bath was spacious with no complaints, and there were a variety of baths. I think the baths alone are worth it. Our room had an SW bed, but it was noticeable that the mattress was worn out.

    The Onsen was great.

    I stayed here for cherry blossom viewing at Himeji Castle. The Onsen was excellent. The free shuttle bus from Himeji Station was also very convenient. I drove to the Hotel, and there was plenty of parking; I received a free parking voucher. A Hotel with an Onsen in the city is rare, so I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Relax in the Onsen

    This time we stayed in a different building than usual. Thank you for accommodating our request for towels. We were able to relax with the Onsen and stone sauna, and the value for money is greatly appreciated. Breakfast is compactly arranged, but it’s more than enough with dessert included. There were also local specialties such as Himeji oden, almond toast, and Banshu ramen. The pudding was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    The breakfast buffet included Himeji specialties and was very satisfying. Despite being a Business Hotel, there was an Onsen, which was a great feature. The Room's amenities were standard but it was clean and well-maintained.

    The Hotel was wonderful, but

    We came to Himeji mainly for castle sightseeing, but unfortunately, we couldn't enter the castle due to facility construction, which was very disappointing. However, we were able to relax deeply by soaking in the Hotel's Onsen!

    It changes every time you visit!

    This time, I had breakfast since I had some extra time. I usually stay during less busy periods, but this time there was a sudden event, and I was surprised by the crowd. The breakfast venue was also packed, with seats close to each other, so I quickly finished my meal. I always request face towels for use in the room, but they weren't provided this time, which was inconvenient. Previously, there were stick coffee and instant miso soup available in the room, but now there's a small shop instead. It was disappointing that the carbonated hot spring bath in the large public bath was no longer available. However, with a nice bath and great cost performance, it's still one of my favorite hotels. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Located a bit away f...

    Located a bit away from Himeji Station and on the opposite side of Himeji Castle, the area was quiet with little foot traffic. Dinner was more filling than expected, and the breakfast buffet offered a great opportunity to try all the local specialties of Himeji. The bath facilities were absolutely amazing! There were various types to enjoy, and you could even choose your shampoo, which made it fun. I would love to come back just for the baths!

    I chose this Hotel a...

    I chose this Hotel as a birthday trip gift for my friend who loves Onsen! My friend was very happy about the Onsen availability! What surprised me was the variety of amenities. I was amazed that you could choose shampoos and conditioners by brand. The Room was also very spacious, which made us very satisfied! However, I chose a smoking Room, and while I understand that a slight tobacco smell is inevitable in most hotels, it was disappointing that towels, bath towels, pillows, etc., had absorbed the smell of tobacco. Even though sheets, covers, and towels should have been washed and replaced, it’s puzzling why they still carried such an odor. Also, although this is not a Business Hotel, I felt the breakfast options were somewhat limited. It would have been nice to see more variety in fruits as well. Additionally—if I may be greedy—it would have been great if we could watch YouTube or similar services in the Room. But other than these points, everything else was perfect! If I visit Himeji again in the future, I will definitely stay here again! It became a wonderful memory for us. Thank you so much!

    It has become my favorite Hotel!

    The building is old, but the Onsen, the tuna bowl, and the staff's excellent service made it my second stay. This time, I was able to buy ice cream and snacks at the unmanned convenience store, which was closed during my previous visit, possibly due to the holiday, and it was very convenient. All the staff were consistently pleasant, and the Shuttle Service driver, in particular, was very kind. The breakfast included many local specialties from Himeji, and the almond toast was especially delicious. Next time, I plan to try the steak set meal for dinner. Thank you very much!!

    I was satisfied with the Onsen.

    I made a reservation attracted by the natural onsen. The facility feels a bit old, but it was convenient to choose your favorite shampoo and have an unmanned convenience store on the first floor. The room had a sense of cleanliness, but the toilet and bathroom were quite high, so be careful not to trip. The onsen was simply great. The sauna would have been perfect if the temperature was a bit higher. The quality of the breakfast was at the level of a business hotel. I think it's better not to expect too much. If the onsen is your top priority, please try staying once.

    The bath was clean and nice. The dinner with tuna rice box came with many small dishes, all of which were elegant and delicious. The breakfast buffet had a variety of local gourmet foods such as Himeji oden, Banshu ramen, seafood bowls, and almond toast, all of which were delicious. It was my first time trying lemon seaweed, and it was delicious. I wonder if it was available at the shop? I should have looked for it and bought it. The desserts were also delicious, and it was nice to have coffee to take back to the room after leaving the buffet venue. I stay at various hotels, and many places have signs saying not to take items back to the room, so I appreciated it. I didn't use the rental bicycles, but I would like to use them if I stay again. There were many good things like the shampoo, but I can't list them all. I was very satisfied with this price.

    It was my first stay!

    Thank you for your hospitality. The cost performance was good, and I was able to spend my time leisurely. The Hotel has an Onsen Facility, making it comfortable. After bathing, I took a break at the dining izakaya. I had a comfortable stay.

    I will visit again!

    Although it is a bit of a distance from the station, it is within walking distance and there are regular buses, making it convenient. It is not new, but it is well-cleaned, and the service was pleasant. The changing room in the large public bath is spacious, and it was nice that the lockers were arranged to maintain a comfortable distance between guests. The breakfast, especially the tekka-don, was more delicious than I imagined. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

    The noise from the outdoor air conditioning unit was loud from early morning.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, but from past 4 a.m. on the first day, I was awakened by quite a loud noise coming from outside the window. When I opened the window to check, it seemed to be from the air conditioning unit on the rooftop of another building. I spoke to the front desk and requested confirmation/improvement, and they agreed to "check inside the room," but there was no response. The same noise occurred at the same time on the second night. I gave up and checked out without saying anything, but this attitude is highly questionable. The breakfast had a variety of items, but all were below average and disappointing. The only good thing was the shuttle service to Himeji Station. However, starting the service past 11 a.m. is late.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time using it, and although I felt the age in some places, the service at the front desk was very polite and wonderful. I was able to check in and out comfortably. The bath was also pleasant, making it a nice Hotel.

    The bath system is terrible.

    We used the facility as a family of three. On that day, there seemed to be an event, and the Onsen was extremely crowded. Since the system requires you to leave the room key for each room when bathing, if you are using it as a family, you need to check whether the opposite gender has returned to know if the room key has been returned. When I asked the reception, "Has the person from room ● returned?" the response was, "We can't keep track because it's crowded." I went back to the room to check, but they hadn't returned yet, and I waited with my child for more than 10 minutes. If that's the system, we need an explanation in advance, or we can't move freely. There is a possibility of catching a cold from waiting too long. We will never use it again.

    Natural hot spring

    Used a semi-double room with dinner and breakfast included. The room is quite small with no place to put luggage. The bed, as I imagined, is narrow and creaky, so it's not very comfortable to sleep on. There was a sign on the door indicating a capacity of one person. However, the large public bath with natural hot springs is spacious and clean, including the changing area. There are a sauna, mist sauna, natural hot spring, pot bath, and low-temperature bath, and it's just so spacious! This is very satisfying. The meals are delicious, and I would like to stay again by booking a larger room or two rooms!

    First stay in Himeji

    The room was spacious and comfortable. The building itself is old, but there are many types of baths, which we enjoyed. The fact that it's a hot spring is a big plus. For breakfast, we had mainly Himeji specialties. We particularly liked the French toast, ramen, and almond toast. The room in front was quite noisy, so we asked the front desk to handle it. Thank you for addressing the issue despite being busy. We look forward to staying with you again next time.

    I love baths.

    I love the bath and use it many times. The Room and Facility are old, but there is a large public bath, so it doesn't bother me. The shampoo bar is also fun, and it's nice to be able to use the bath from the morning until just before check-in. It would be nice to have a welcome drink, which is available almost everywhere these days.
