    Room odor

    I always stay here. I book my Room early, but it was the same Room as last time—I've even memorized the room number. Perhaps due to the layout, the humidity was extremely high. Even though it was sunny that day, there was a damp smell in the Room and the bedding felt very humid, so I kept running the air conditioner and using deodorizer. Since I previously had to ask to change Rooms because of an odor in that Room, I hesitated to request another change this time. Disappointing.

    Unfortunately.

    This time I stayed at Hotel Route-Inn for 3 nights and 4 days. I use this Hotel regularly and usually feel reassured, but this time I was left with concerns about the way the situation was handled. During my Multiple Night Stay, I requested sheet changes and cleaning. However, a little after 10:00 a.m., while I was on a phone call, there was a knock from the Room staff and an incoming call from the front desk. Because I was handling a work-related call, I could not respond and did not return the call. Later, when I left my Room to go out, a self-service linen set (a white package) had been hung on my door. When I asked the front desk, they explained that “because we couldn’t reach you, we handled it that way.” However, it was still in the 10 o’clock hour in the morning, and since I had requested cleaning, I find it questionable that they made that decision. When I asked whether I needed to contact them myself, they replied “no,” which made their explanation inconsistent. Although they ultimately apologized, I could not accept their standards or judgment for how this was handled. Since this is a Hotel I always use, it was especially disappointing this time.

    You can enjoy a comfortable stay.

    The Room felt smaller compared to other Route Inn twin rooms. With two adults and suitcases, there was no space to open them comfortably. Other Facilities and services were as usual, comfortable and satisfactory. I would like to stay again.
