The breakfast offers an excellent balance and great value for money.

I made a Reservation looking forward to the bath, but it was unfortunately out of order. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, my Room was upgraded. I was very satisfied and enjoyed the spacious indoor bath. For breakfast, I had freshly baked bread, corn soup, and plenty of fresh vegetables—it was filling and became a wonderful travel memory. I would like this to be my first choice for my next stay in Sapporo.

    Best value for money

Even as Hotel prices in Sapporo are extremely high, I think it’s wonderful how much effort you put into keeping your rates reasonable. At the same time, the large public bath and lounge show outstanding hospitality. Considering the price, I have no complaints. I felt the service and facilities exceeded expectations for the cost.

Although it was a non-smoking Room, it had a slight odor. It was disappointing that the large public bath was out of order and unavailable that day. We were informed by phone in advance, and the bath in the Room had no issues at all. It is very close to Nakajima Park, and there is a convenience store nearby, which was convenient.

For the best stay, we recommend a Multiple Night Stay.

Thank you for your hospitality. The nearest station is Nakajima-Koen Station, about a 5-minute walk to the Hotel. You can also walk from Susukino Station, and there is a convenience store nearby, which is very convenient. On the first floor, there is a guest-only lounge. It serves as the breakfast venue, and from 12:00 it is available for guests with soft-serve ice cream and soft drinks. For limited hours, freshly baked bread is offered in limited quantities, and I enjoyed it very much. The Room has a hair dryer, electric kettle, mini refrigerator, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, towels, mugs, and plastic cups. Amenities and loungewear are located near the front desk so you can choose what you need. Please note that the large public bath alternates between men and women by time slot. There is a manga corner at the entrance to the large public bath, and you can also take them to your Room to read. Since the curtains do not block out light well, I would be happy if they could be changed to blackout curtains. I understand there may be budget considerations on the Hotel’s side as well—please consider it. I visited during a season without snow; I hope this helps those planning to stay in the future.

Overall, it was good, but I have some complaints.

The Hotel itself was clean, and the lounge offerings were excellent, so I was satisfied. However, at check-in I was given the wrong Room number, and my room key wouldn’t open the door, so I had to go back to the front desk. In the end it was a staff mistake, which caused unnecessary hassle right after arrival and left me with a bad impression. Since the Facility was otherwise great, this was disappointing.

The subway is nearby, making it easy to get around.

Both the Hotel and the Room were clean and comfortable. It was also nice to be able to take a walk in nearby Nakajima Park.

Room type will be assigned upon arrival...

Upon arrival, I was informed it was a smoking Room. When I expressed dissatisfaction, they kindly changed it to a non-smoking Room that was available. I had assumed that booking a cheaper last-minute option with "Room type assigned upon check-in" would still allow for separation between smoking and non-smoking Rooms. While this misunderstanding may partly be my fault, the distinction between smoking and non-smoking is important for health reasons and should be clearly separated. The Room: It was a corner Room with bunk beds. Perhaps because it was in the corner, the Wi-Fi frequently disconnected. Also, I kept hitting my head on the bunk bed; adding some cushioning material would help. There are no amenities provided in the Room unless you take items like toothbrushes or yukata from the amenity bar yourself. It’s nice that tea is provided in the amenity bar as well. Having drip coffee available for times when free drinks are not offered would also be appreciated. The free drink service is great! However, bread runs out quickly—having more available would be better. Drinks can be taken back to your Room, but carrying more than two cups makes it difficult to hold your room key or press elevator buttons. Providing trays or something similar for carrying drinks back to Rooms would be helpful. I hope the public bath reopens soon—it used to be great when I visited before!

    I have been travelin...

I have been traveling to Sapporo once a year for the past 6 years, staying at a different accommodation each time, but Relief was the best so far. The room had a separate bath and toilet and was smoking-friendly, everything was clean, and I was very satisfied. The location was convenient, and the freshly baked bread was delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

    The breakfast was delicious.

The Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bread had a wide variety and was very delicious. However, perhaps due to the timing, I had to wait in line to enter, and after placing food and drinks on my tray, I couldn't find an available seat when I looked around. This led to wandering around with the tray in hand (feeling lost). It might enhance satisfaction if measures are taken such as stopping the line when seats are full or encouraging guests to avoid peak hours.

    Great value for money

Susukino is within walking distance, and the station and airport bus stop are also just a short walk away. There is a convenience store nearby, making the location very convenient. The price was reasonable considering it was during the on-season. Breakfast includes bread with additional options, and there is a wide variety of freshly baked bread available. The lounge also offers snacks and light meals during the afternoon and evening, which should be sufficient for those who don't need heavy rice-based meals with lots of side dishes. Unfortunately, the large public bath was not in operation, which was slightly disappointing; however, this was mentioned in advance, and I found no inconvenience using the Room's private bathroom instead.

    Cost-effective

I didn't expect much because it was quite cheap, but it was really good. The wide selection of manga on the first floor was also a plus. It was unfortunate that the large public bath on the first floor was under construction, but I was satisfied as the Room's bathroom was clean. I couldn't have breakfast due to my flight schedule, but I would like to try it next time.

Sapporo in July is expensive, so I made a reservation more than three months in advance and stayed at a lower cost. It was disappointing that the large public bath was unavailable, but I was satisfied with the breakfast where I could enjoy various types of bread for 500 yen.

    It's tobacco, you know, tobacco.

There is an ashtray in front of the Hotel entrance. It's unbelievable these days. If there is an ashtray, smokers will definitely smoke enthusiastically, so you have to hold your breath and pass quickly when leaving or returning to the Hotel. It makes me wonder why I bother specifying a non-smoking Room as a search condition when choosing a Hotel. Other than that, it's neither good nor bad.

Is this a Hotel with no intention of providing customer service?

I used it again after a long time. Was there any issue with the change in check-in time? I had forgotten that payment is done by oneself rather than at the front desk, but they also didn’t inform me that the payment location was behind the front desk. There was no acknowledgment or greeting to customers coming in and out, making it seem like they weren’t paying attention to guests at all. I can’t believe there’s a Hotel with such poor customer service. The service used to be better when I stayed here before. During my visits, I felt like the staff lacked motivation. Is this how the entire company operates? I think improvements are necessary.

    First time use

Stayed with the No Meals Included Plan. It's a bit away from the center of Susukino, but within an acceptable range. There seems to be a large public bath, but I didn't use it as there were many foreigners. There also seems to be manga on the first floor. There was a free service of bread and soft drinks. The walls are thin, so you can hear the sound from the next room, but since I only drank and slept in Susukino, it didn't bother me. It's a bit away from Susukino, but at this price, I would consider revisiting.

Great value for money and excellent service.

The response to requests was excellent. The lounge's bread, donuts, soft serve ice cream, and drink service were consistently good in quality and taste. The breakfast was also cost-effective, with delicious clam chowder and carefully cut fruits, showing attention to detail. I had a comfortable stay. Thank you.

    It's quite good.

There was an opportunity for a one-night stay in Otaru as part of a ferry plan, so I made a reservation to stay one night in Sapporo as well. The room was a bit small, but there was a manga library, and drinks and bread were all-you-can-eat in the lounge! How wonderful! It's a pity that the large public bath was under renovation and couldn't be used this time, but Nakajima Park, a famous spot for autumn leaves, is also nearby, which is nice. I would like to use this as a base to find accommodations in the future.
