    It’s a good Hotel. However, the Route Inn I stayed at afterward felt slightly better in some subtle ways.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    Even though it was a weekend, I was satisfied to stay in a reasonably priced, spacious Room. There is a Lawson convenience store very close by, so meals were not an issue. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, so it may feel slightly far if you have a lot of luggage. No problem if you’re driving. There was no hand soap at the sink, and while the large public bath was very relaxing, there was no facial cleanser or makeup remover either. That was a little disappointing, so I deducted one star for amenities only.

    Artificial Onsen

    Green Rich Hotel was my first stay, and I was pleased to find a large public bath at this price range. It’s very helpful that you can check the congestion status on the Room TV (since there are only five washing areas, it’s wise to avoid peak times). The staff at the front desk were very accommodating, and I had a pleasant stay. Thank you!

    Good.

    The coin laundry was convenient, but having a 100-yen change machine would save guests from waiting in line at the front desk during busy times. The staff left a positive impression with their professionalism. The location near the station was also excellent.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    About a 10-minute walk from the station, with the restaurant district near the station also close by, making it a great location. There is a large public bath, and the Room has a calm atmosphere where you can relax. I would love to stay here again when I visit Izumo.

    Compact and comfortable

    Compact yet fully equipped with everything you need, it was very comfortable. The massage chair, in particular, was the best I have ever used.

    Is the management of the Onsen adequate?

    In the morning, when I used the Onsen, there was no water coming out from the spout that pours water into the bathtub, giving me the impression that the circulation system was not working. The sauna was also unavailable. If the sauna is not available, it should be communicated accordingly. Regarding meal content, there was a leaflet posted in the elevator where it wasn't clear what items were for breakfast or dinner; I was disappointed to find that Izumo soba wasn't included with breakfast as I had expected. The leaflet should be clearer. All pillows were soft; it would be better to have firm pillows available as well. As for breakfast, while other Hotels often give an impression of using store-bought items, this time some parts of breakfast felt homemade and were delicious. It was also nice to enjoy Nitta rice.

    The fear of heating not working well in the room during midwinter

    I stayed in the Premium [with Massage Chair] (Double). The massage chair was placed in a spacious corner room area next to the elevator. My first impression was that this hotel really only provides the bare minimum in terms of amenities. I am the type to carry my own amenity kit, so it didn't bother me, but there really isn't much provided. However, even with a Multiple Night Stay, towels and such are replaced. Also, the room's power starts by inserting the stick-shaped key handle into the holder, so removing the key stops the heating. When returning to the room from outside, I turned the heating to powerful and used the air purifier at maximum airflow as a circulator. Since it was the aforementioned corner room, it didn't warm up easily. Even if I went to the large public bath because it was cold, returning meant going back to an extremely cold room. When I informed the front desk about the cold, they promptly delivered a blanket. This was handled well. Running a hotel must be tough, and there are probably SDGs measures nowadays, but I experienced it again after a long time. The fear of a hotel room in midwinter where the heating doesn't work well...
