    A Hotel that’s convenient for any occasion

    Conveniently located for both JR and car access. The fact that the front desk area is always within view is also a plus for security.\n\nI really like the Onsen Facility, which feels far more impressive than you’d expect from a Business Hotel, but this time I noticed a faint odor in the changing room and bathing area that made me think it might be about time for disinfection. It’s hard to judge, and it may have been due to the ongoing extreme heat.\n\nAlso, coming right after a major earthquake in Kyushu, I felt it would be safer without the small decorative framed piece near the pillow area, so I removed it during my stay.\n\nSome of the staff are very kind, and this Accommodation shows consideration throughout. Even if the building and facilities are somewhat old, it still makes me want to return.

    The hot spring water is excellent.

    I believe it truly is 100% free-flowing hot spring water. From the moment I got in, I could feel it soaking into my skin and leaving it smooth. There were separate tubs with hotter water and slightly cooler water, and although small, the open-air bath was also very nice. If I had one request, I’d like the open-air bath to be a bit larger.

    A conveniently located property. The large public bath features excellent-quality hot spring water.

    Just a few minutes’ walk to Kagoshima-Chuo Station. There are several restaurants nearby, plus a wholesale supermarket and a local bakery, which is very convenient. The Hotel’s dining options are open not only for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but also during café hours in some form, so there’s little worry about missing a meal. The staff are also quietly kind and helpful. If you use the coin-operated parking on the Hotel grounds or next door, it was 800 yen per night (at the time of stay). If you have lunch after checkout, you may receive an additional parking ticket as well, making it convenient even by car. 　The building and Facility seem somewhat old, but the elevators and guest room door locks are solid, and there’s a mini fridge, air conditioning, and a TV with BS channels—no complaints. On top of that, for a business-class Hotel in front of a Shinkansen station, it even has an impressively good-quality large public bath (with staff at the entrance for peace of mind). If I have the chance, I’d like to stay at this Accommodation again.

    The public bath was very relaxing.

    The large public Onsen was very satisfying.

    The public bath is not very large, but at certain times it can be reserved for private use, which was satisfying. According to my wife, the women's section also has an open-air bath, and she seemed pleased with it. Unfortunately, there was no sauna. Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options and was delicious. The location is close to Kagoshima-Chuo Station, and shopping is convenient with various stores just a 5-minute walk away. I would like to stay here again someday.

On the second floor, there is a modestly sized natural Onsen SPA (free for guests) as well as a paid gym corner with several machines. Without needing to go to the station area, there are nearby restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets for dining options. The hotel's restaurant also offers delicious lunch options including Amami-style chicken rice. Although I had to extend my stay due to heavy rain, the staff were kind and made my stay pleasant. Parking is available for 800 yen per night, which seems comparable to nearby flat parking rates.

    It was a great Onsen.

    The room was on the ladies' floor, quiet, and had excellent security. There was no complimentary mineral water in the room, but we were informed that tap water was drinkable—and it indeed was. The hairdryer wasn't the latest model, but it had sufficient airflow for drying. I appreciated the sheet mask provided as part of the amenities. However, the WiFi connection was quite unstable with inconsistent performance. The Onsen was excellent but very hot; I had to add cold water to make it comfortable. The outdoor bath could only accommodate one person at a time, but since no one else was there, I enjoyed it fully. The air conditioning in the room turned off when removing the key card from its slot, so after bathing, it felt very warm for a few minutes until cooling resumed. The pillow was too hard for me and not comfortable; however, I believe other pillow options were available—I just didn’t request one as it was already late at night. Dinner did not meet my expectations and wasn’t satisfying—at 3,500 yen, eating out would have been a better choice. Afterward, I bought pasta from a convenience store instead. The coffee served during breakfast tasted extremely weak with almost no flavor. The front desk staff were all kind and left a positive impression overall. With great Onsen facilities and good service quality overall, I'd consider staying again for one night—but next time I'll likely dine outside instead!

    No complaints if you can enjoy an Onsen at a Business Hotel.

    Being a Business Hotel, it's understandable that the furniture might be scratched, but as long as the Room is clean, that's fine. However, I was surprised to see the Room number attached to the card key—probably because many guests forget their numbers. The numerous notices around the Hotel also made me feel a bit uneasy. Additionally, sound travels easily due to thin walls. That said, despite these drawbacks, the Onsen is absolutely amazing! Soaking in the natural flowing Onsen washes away all your fatigue from the day. Moreover, on the floor with the large public bath, there's a front desk near the elevator with staff present, which adds a sense of security. The open-air bath was unique and fun (I won't spoil it by giving details). It was such a pleasant surprise to enjoy such an excellent Onsen at a Business Hotel!

    The staff were very kind, and the Hotel uniquely offers an Onsen, allowing for a relaxing stay. Above all, the meals were incredibly delicious, especially the Saigo-don set dinner, which was absolutely delightful. A stay with two meals included is highly recommended! I will definitely stay here again!

    The hot water is excellent!

    I stayed on the ladies' floor for one night. It felt safe, and the amenities like face packs were great. Above all, the Onsen water was amazing and made my skin smooth! I could choose my breakfast time and enjoy it at a relaxed pace, and the staff were very kind.

    The Onsen was as expected.

    I made a reservation because the onsen had high reviews. The access from the airport to the bus stop at the central station was also good. The building is old, but it was maintained. The onsen met my expectations. It is not very spacious, but the quality of the spring is as wonderful as mentioned in reviews. Breakfast is at a typical business hotel level. I think this property is recommended for those who prioritize onsen above all else.

    A very nice and smooth Onsen.

    I was attracted by the words "Onsen Kakenagashi" and made a reservation. It was a nice onsen with a smooth texture that made my skin feel moist. It was very good. It would be perfect if the changing room were a little more spacious. Also, it was a pity that there was no outlet in the room's washroom. However, it was relatively close to the station, and above all, the onsen was very good, so I would like to use it again.

    The free-flowing Onsen is pleasant.

    It was a quick two-day trip back to Kagoshima. If the weather had been good, we planned to take a ferry to Osumi, but unfortunately, it rained, so we enjoyed the Onsen in the hotel and the gourmet food near the central station. The Onsen had a viscous quality that warmed the body gently from the inside. For women, there are two large baths and an open-air bath, and if you go during a quiet time, you can enjoy the Onsen leisurely. Especially since the bathing hours are until midnight at 24:00 and from 6:00 to 11:00 in the morning until checkout, it's quite nice. Indeed, there is some aging, but the service and cleaning are thorough, so it was a good hotel for individuals. Personally, since it had individual air conditioning, I was able to spend time comfortably in the room. The downside is... as others have mentioned, the air conditioning might be quite noisy. Even when turned off, the vibration of the building's air conditioning was transmitted through the walls, so light sleepers might want to have earplugs. Other than that, there was no crampedness typical of recent Business Hotels, so I was able to spend time comfortably. Thank you. Sakurajima... I guess it used to be a place with a good view before the apartment building in front was built. (laughs)

    It was very good.

    I used it for the first time because it has an Onsen, is conveniently located, and has a women-only floor. The Onsen was clean and made my skin smooth, and the Room was also clean and very nice. The breakfast was small but had a wide variety of dishes, including desserts, and was delicious. The only thing that bothered me was that there seemed to be a gap in the Room door, so I could hear footsteps every time someone passed by, but other than that, it was very good. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
