    Amenities only.

    I stayed in a smoking Room, but it was clean, had no odor, and didn’t feel particularly small, so I had a comfortable stay. However, I would have liked coffee and facial toner among the amenities; they were available for an additional fee. I would like to stay again. Thank you.

    A small detail, but…

    The Facility, breakfast, and everything else were just what we needed—no more, no less. The location was also very convenient from the station. I was happy to find chicken wings at the breakfast buffet, and it was great that Noritake Garden was within walking distance. Just one thing: when I tried to enter from the main street, I was surprised by the large step at the entrance—it felt like quite a climb. Later I realized that if you first pull into the drop-off area and enter from there, you can walk in normally. It’s probably not something you’d trip over, but it might be helpful to mark it with a traffic cone or similar sign.

    Thank you for taking care of us during ARASHI’s final concert. The lobby was full of fellow fans. Check-in was done at two self-service machines, so there was a line, but the location was conveniently close. The kettle was a type I had never seen before and took quite a while to use, which was a drawback. When checking out, I greeted the housekeeping staff in the hallway, but there was no response at all—was speaking not allowed? Sorry about that.

    Please change the light bulb.

    During my Multiple Night Stay, the main light bulb in the Room was out from the first day. Since I only needed a place to sleep it was manageable, but it still seems unacceptable. The air conditioning is centrally controlled for the entire building, and the heating didn’t work, so it was far too cold. Cleaning was inadequate, and the toilet smelled throughout my stay. I stay here at this time of year only for the convenient location, so I don’t have high expectations, but since it’s an old building I think more effort should be made.

    I stayed here overnight after a live concert. I really appreciated that they were able to store my luggage, as it was quite large. Amenities were self-serve, so you can take only what you need. There is a convenience store right next door, so you can easily pick up anything you may be missing.

    Only the bathroom odor was an issue...

    I made a Reservation at the last minute because I decided to stay the night before. It was conveniently located close to the station, with a convenience store next door. The Facility showed some signs of age, but the Room was spacious and well cleaned. However, when I entered the washroom, I noticed an unpleasant odor. The washroom was the only disappointing point.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The room was clean and comfortable for a pleasant stay. With the check-out time at 11:00 AM, it was nice to have a relaxed morning.

    Clear signage with front boarding available.

    I stayed here the night before joining an early morning bus tour. The building itself is old, but the large illuminated sign on the ground level made it easy to find, which was very helpful.

    Wi-Fi is not connecting.

    Each room is assigned a unique Wi-Fi password, but it never connected, making it impossible to work. When I informed the front desk, they brought me printed Wi-Fi passwords for five other rooms besides the one I was staying in. Even then, it didn’t connect. Sharing one room’s Wi-Fi among multiple guests only made the connection worse. The response was extremely poor. I was moved to a "room with better connectivity," but after some time, even that stopped working—likely because the Wi-Fi password for that room was also being shared with other guests. This level of service is unacceptable in this day and age.

    It was not cleaned.

    There were snacks left in the room, clearly indicating it wasn't cleaned properly. I understand the Hotel is old, but if cleaning isn't done properly, there's really nothing good about staying here.

    I used it for work. The toilet cleaning was not thorough, which was a bit unpleasant. The size, bed, and pillows were sufficient just for sleeping. The receptionist was a foreigner, so the intonation was difficult to understand. Considering the low price, I would rate it 3 stars.

    The bathroom smells bad.

    Signs of aging are visible everywhere. There are no Facilities or services to make up for it, and I think it falls below a Business Hotel. The smell when I opened the bathroom was musty and lowered my spirits. I was disappointed for the first time in a while.

    Business Hotel near the station

    I used it urgently as the Shinkansen stopped. It was close to the station and convenient for shopping. The response from the front desk staff was not very good, but everything else was comfortable.

    Known for its affordability.

    As it was formerly a Sunroute, it is a typical business hotel from a while back. The unnecessarily large lobby gives a sense of the era. Although it was a last-minute booking, I got it quite cheaply, so in that sense, it was just that. It's close to the station (though it still took about 10 minutes from the Shinkansen ticket gate), so if you're just staying, it's sufficient. However, the WiFi didn't connect at all, or to be precise, it occasionally connected but couldn't access the external network. Even connecting to the LAN port in the room resulted in the same outcome, suggesting that the network hasn't been updated for a long time. In fact, the SSID remained from the Sunroute era. Nowadays, a hotel where you can't connect to the network is unthinkable, so in my case, I concluded that I wouldn't revisit. It's unfortunate.

    Plan to repeat

    I have stayed in Nagoya several times before, but this was my first time using this hotel. It is close to the station, and Noritake Garden, one of my destinations this time, was also within walking distance, which was convenient. My room had a view towards the station, so I could see the trains. It was nice to have a single-seater sofa with a small table (just enough to place a drink). The bathroom and toilet are small. The amenities are simple but sufficient. The building's age is undeniable, but it is clean. I think the cost performance is good. Having a port for Charichari (shared bicycles) is a big plus. I would like to stay here again next time.
