    The breakfast was truly delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of vegetables—I felt like I was enjoying something genuinely good for my body. The bath isn’t large, but I was able to enjoy both a medicinal herbal liqueur bath and a mandarin orange bath.

    Last-Minute Golden Week Reservation

    I stayed here while visiting my family home. As other reviews said, the breakfast was delicious—so good that I even had seconds. Everything was carefully prepared, with plenty of healthy local ingredients. I was also happy to be able to choose between white rice and bamboo shoot rice. There were several options for rice accompaniments as well, such as simmered dishes and nori seaweed. I was very satisfied. The only reason I’m giving fewer stars is that the Room toilet flush lever wasn’t working very well. There is also a large public bath and a pot-style bath, which is perfect for bath lovers. I’ll definitely stay again.

    The medicinal “Homeishu” bath is very relaxing.

    I use this Hotel as my regular choice when traveling for business. The large public bath is comfortable, and you can use a ReFa shower head. You can freely choose from several types of pillows, and at this price they also provide loungewear in the Room. Some people may feel the Room is small, but the air conditioning works well, and I think it’s comfortable for those who mainly return to the Hotel just to sleep while on a work trip. There is a microwave on each floor, which is convenient for quickly heating up a bento you bought and eating in your Room.

    Delicious breakfast

    The guest room and unit bath are quite small. However, you can pick up the amenities you need, and there are free drinks and a large public bath. In particular, the breakfast was different from a typical Business Hotel—homemade-style and very delicious. I would like to stay here again next time.

    Impressive warm service! Accommodation recommended for its pot bath and lemonade.

    As a Business Hotel, I honestly didn't expect much. However! I was impressed by the amenities, the large public bath, in-room wear, choice of pillows, and above all, the kind service from the staff. Additionally, there was a hand-drawn map of restaurants around Fukuyama and Onomichi that gave a warm touch. The red chair in the Room not only brightened up the space but was also very comfortable to sit on. The free drinks included coffee as well as lemonade—truly Hiroshima style!

    The breakfast is absolutely excellent! The bath, though not very large, is incredibly relaxing. It would be even better if the toilet and sink in the guest room were separate...

    I stayed here for a solo trip. The Room was quiet, with no footsteps or noise, allowing me to rest well. I was too tired to visit the large public bath this time, but I’d like to try it on my next visit. The amenities are minimal, so you may need to bring your own if necessary. It seems there’s a skincare lineup available in the large public bath. What made me strongly want to stay here again is definitely the breakfast buffet! Most of it is handmade using local vegetables and tasted amazing. My top recommendation is the green curry!! It had a flavor I love and gave me energy for the day ahead. The coffee was also delicious, leaving me completely satisfied!

    I returned home for my mother's memorial service. Conveniently located near the station with affordable and secure parking. After relaxing in the large bath, I enjoyed my stay in a cozy Room. The service was excellent, and I would definitely like to use it again!

    Relax and unwind in the large public bath.

    The only Business Hotel near Fukuyama Station with a large public bath. Relax in the Homenishu bath. You'll also love the Refa shower heads. As it's not a large Hotel, the public bath is rarely crowded and easy to use. While the north side of the station may be quiet and less lively at night, there is a convenience store nearby, making it very convenient.

    Conveniently located near the station. The Room is clean, and the bedding is comfortable. There are many restaurants within walking distance, so you won't have any trouble finding a place to eat. The breakfast buffet looked appealing, but I didn't try it this time as I had planned to visit another restaurant. Looking forward to trying it next time!

    Cost-effective Accommodation

    The large public bath is very comfortable, especially the Homenishu Bath, which leaves your skin smooth. The Refa shower head is impressive! It's a great feature not always found even in luxury hotels. The Room is small but equipped with all necessary facilities, making it comfortable for those who don't prioritize spaciousness. Considering the price, this Hotel offers excellent value for money. You can freely pick up additional towels and amenities yourself, which is very convenient and appreciated.

    Fukuyama is no longer a rural area; you'll be surprised by how sophisticated it has become!

    No longer just a rural area, Fukuyama. Convenient with facilities at the station and nearby. The nearby restaurants are delicious, and staying at Fukuyama Oriental Hotel was the right choice. The large public bath was relaxing, and the breakfast made with local ingredients was very tasty. I will stay at Fukuyama Oriental Hotel again next time!

    The breakfast was truly impressive.

    It was a very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The public bath is not particularly large, but it offers a surprisingly relaxing atmosphere, giving a slight Onsen vibe that helped relieve my fatigue. The breakfast was impressively delicious, and you can tell it’s thoughtfully prepared for the guests. The staff provided excellent service, and everything reflected their consideration for the comfort of those staying. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuyama. Thank you very much!

    The natural breakfast is delicious.

    I really like the breakfast here. You can enjoy homemade dishes made with local organic ingredients. Even the desserts are delicious. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby. The large public bath features a Hōmeishu (Homeishu) bath. I will stay here again.

    Easy Check-in & Check-out

    Both check-in and check-out can be done automatically by machine. The Room's air conditioning was somewhat unsatisfactory, and the Room was cold. Both the station and convenience store are nearby, making the location very advantageous.

    Old but with many good points.

    Even though it's old, there are many good points such as having a bathhouse and a decent breakfast. The Room is old and small, and you can start hearing the train noise from around 4 AM. A 20-year-old? small LCD TV, pipe chair? The breakfast has a decent menu, and the large plates are kept clean, making it pleasant to use. It would have been even better if there were Western dishes like ham, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Large bath? Medium bath? There are 4 or 5 washing areas, and two pot baths (1/3 were out of service). The dressing room was not very clean as it was used a bit roughly. It was nice that it was empty from 6 to 7 in the morning. Even if I have the opportunity, I don't think there will be a next time. There wasn't enough charm for me to revisit.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. I stayed because the event venue was in Fukuyama. I appreciated that you held my large luggage before check-in as the venue was small and I couldn't bring it in. Even when I left the room without my card, you kindly assisted me, which was very helpful. The room was clean, and it was nice to be able to borrow a blanket. The meals were delicious, and I enjoyed the large public bath several times. It was the best among the several hotels I stayed at this year.

    A female staff member I met in the bath

    It was small, but there was a bathhouse. The response of the female staff assisting a girl in the bathhouse was wonderful. I was, of course, impressed by the Hotel's service of helping children who came with their fathers to bathe, but the way the female staff assisted was excellent, as she watched over without being overly intrusive and provided support where needed. All the other staff were also kind.

    The breakfast is delicious.

    Although the number of dishes was small, they used local ingredients, and I found each dish to be very delicious. The Room was as spacious as an APA Hotel, but it was not particularly inconvenient, and the cleaning was done properly, giving it a sense of cleanliness, which was very good. The large public bath had a TV and was spacious, but the pot bath was not as expected, and since one was a cold bath, there were actually only two. Also, it was convenient because check-in and check-out could be done automatically.
