  It’s been a while since I last stayed at an APA Hotel.

  It was my first time staying at an APA Hotel in a while. The mattress used to feel too soft for me, but maybe it has changed—this time it was pleasantly firm and comfortable. The view from the window wasn’t great, so I didn’t open it and felt a bit closed in, but for a solo stay just to sleep, I think it’s comfortable. There were plenty of amenities, and there were APA-related books in the room. Even the amenity bag had an inspiring message from the president—so very “APA!” It made me smile.

  The futon was "too warm."

  The futon was too warm, and even with the air conditioning set to a comfortable level, it became hot when covered with the futon. Not using the futon might lead to catching a cold. For summer, I think a light futon, or even one with a cool touch, would be better.
