    A stylish and comfortable Hotel

    Just steps from the station, with everything you need in the mall next door. The Room was spacious and well soundproofed. I also appreciated being able to choose your shampoo. The large public bath also has an open-air bath.

    This was my third st...

    This was my third stay. The Hotel staff may have been at their best during my first visit—such a pleasant welcome at check-in, along with the origami crane and message. Last time I had an errand nearby and could have done a day trip, but I ended up staying for the Onsen. And this time, since I couldn’t go anywhere during Golden Week, I came back here again to refresh (I guess I’m completely hooked). When I want a change of pace, it’s easy to come alone by train from Tokyo, and both the Room and the Onsen are so comfortable that I’m sure I’ll keep coming back. Next time I want to use my time better and finally try the breakfast!

    Overall, it is good, but the parking lot description on the website needs clarification. There is no signboard as a landmark at the site. Please mention that it is a shopping center parking lot to help first-time visitors understand.

    Hotel with Onsen

    I often use the Mitsui Garden Hotel Group, and all of their hotels offer a high level of satisfaction. Among them, Kashiwa-no-ha is my favorite with its Onsen, quiet atmosphere, and spacious Room. The Onsen in the early morning is especially relaxing even during business trips. If I have the chance, I would like to try their breakfast as well; however, there was a waiting line at the entrance, so it seems necessary to adjust the timing for use.

    The pillow was too firm, which affected my sleep.

    Both pillows were of the same firmness, making it uncomfortable to sleep. I would have preferred one to be softer. I ended up using a cushion as a substitute pillow. The bed was also low, lacked height, and was hard, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. While the lobby design seemed well-thought-out, more effort should be put into the bedding and related amenities in the guest rooms. The lighting near the headboard could not be adjusted or fixed in place, leaving me unsure if it was meant to function as a reading light. I believe functionality should take precedence over design, with choices made considering hotel guests' needs more thoroughly. In the public bath area, there were unfamiliar pipe-like structures connected to the water supply that seemed out of place—possibly a design flaw? Several pipes typically seen on air conditioner exteriors were installed in the bathroom. Overall, despite my expectations being high, my experience fell short. It seems that even within Mitsui Garden Hotels, quality can vary depending on location.

    The Room smelled bad and ruined everything.

    Others have mentioned this as well, but the Room smells far too bad. From the moment I checked in and entered the Room for the first time, it has smelled like a toilet—an intense ammonia odor. This is a Room on the 3rd floor. I tried to find the cause, but the toilet (unit bath) itself does not smell. I sprayed the carpet with the deodorizing spray provided in the Room, but it did not help. The smell is so strong that it wakes me up at night. When I opened the curtains, I found a large amount of animal droppings on the balcony, as shown in the attached photo. I’m not sure if they are from rats or bats... Could odors from animal urine and feces be coming in through the ventilation fan or air conditioner? It has been a week since my stay began, and my lungs feel itchy somehow. I’m worried about infectious diseases. I want you to hire a specialist to investigate. I don’t think you should be renting out a Room like this. It damages “Mitsui’s” name.

    I would like to stay here again.

    When you're looking for a quick refresh trip without going too far, this place comes to mind. Conveniently located near the station with natural Onsen, the area is also surrounded by great spots and amenities. I’d love to visit again when I need a break from daily life. Although I didn’t use the dining services as I had other plans, and later found out that you can check Onsen crowd levels on the room monitor or try different shampoos, these are things I look forward to enjoying next time!

    It's been a while since my last visit!

    I visited after a long time, and the Onsen was excellent. I requested a Room close to the Onsen as my mother has difficulty walking, and the Room was indeed very close to both the Onsen and the elevator. Thank you for that. Additionally, I accidentally got my loungewear wet, and it was kindly replaced for me. The staff were very accommodating—thank you so much. I will visit again next month, so I look forward to staying with you again!

    Conveniently located near the station with natural Onsen, the staff at reception were attentive and pleasant, making me want to return. While not guaranteed as it depends on availability after check-in, Blu-ray players can be borrowed. Additionally, there are many charming dining options nearby, including delicious bakeries, making it a great choice for private gatherings or girls' nights.

    A clean and stylish Hotel

    A hotel located in a well-maintained and clean city area. The lobby is stylish, though not very spacious, and the rooms are comfortable. The service is minimal yet kind and straightforward. The bath features authentic Onsen water, making it a great option for enjoying an Onsen trip without venturing far from the city. For dinner, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby to enjoy as long as it's not too late at night. The breakfast selection is impressive for a hotel of this level. Looking forward to visiting again for another mini staycation!

    Refresh with Onsen and breakfast

    30 minutes from Akihabara and just a short walk from Kashiwanoha-campus Station, the location offers better accessibility than staying on the outskirts of Tokyo. The Onsen and breakfast were excellent. The quality of the Onsen water was great, and I was very satisfied. If I may be indulgent, extending the usage hours would be even better. Breakfast included standard buffet dishes as well as Italian restaurant-style menu items, which made it highly satisfying.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night on Sunday. The natural Onsen and mist sauna allowed me to relax and refresh. The luggage storage service before check-in was handled politely, and the check-in process was smooth. The breakfast was also delicious. I would love to stay again.

    Please address the needs of guests using adult diapers.

    The room was clean, and the onsen water was gentle on the skin and felt pleasant. I signed up for breakfast separately on the day, and it was delicious, with the staff being very pleasant as well. There is one thing that left me feeling quite uneasy. I struggled with whether to mention it, and wondered if I should say it at all... A person in a wheelchair and their caregiver were using the onsen, and I was very concerned when I noticed they were wearing adult diapers while changing. It's a delicate issue, and personally, it's difficult for me to address it, so I would like the hotel to handle it properly. I am a fan of Mitsui Garden Hotel, having stayed at locations such as Nihonbashi, Gaien, Toyosu, Kyobashi, and Shiodome, but since it is a hotel with a large public bath, I would like some kind of action to be taken. If it were a child wearing diapers, I would probably speak to the parents, but addressing a lady using adult diapers is something that not only I, but other guests, would hesitate to do. I kindly ask the hotel to take care of this matter.

    Stayed one night to support my parent's recovery after being discharged from the hospital.

    I searched for a place where I could enjoy delicious meals and an onsen within about an hour from home. It was close to the station, and the lobby was lovely, which lifted my spirits. The view from the window wasn't anything special, but being able to enjoy the onsen was definitely a plus. During our stay, we enjoyed shopping at the nearby Lalaport (which had a year-end sale) and dining, and the next day, we had a pleasant time exploring the nearby Kashiwanoha Park (especially the Japanese garden). The breakfast buffet wasn't as good as I had hoped. However, despite being close to the city center, it was a great place to refresh.
