    I’m satisfied every time.

    I visit Kyoto every year for the Gion Festival’s Yoiyama, and I stayed here again this time as well. I was able to relax in a quiet, calm atmosphere. At the breakfast venue, there was live flute music—I never expected to hear “Morning Mood” from Peer Gynt. My wife says she won’t stay anywhere other than your Hotel. We’re planning to visit Kyoto again in December, and instead of a day trip, we’re considering staying at your Hotel.

    Stay during the Gion Festival

    Located on Shijo Street, you can enjoy a combination of relaxation in your Room and sightseeing or shopping. On the day of the Gion Festival, it was convenient to access the evening events on Shijo Street directly from the Hotel Room. The amenity services, including lotion and moisturizer, were very helpful. The drink service was especially appreciated during summer. There is also a large public bath available. After check-out, I used the luggage storage service and enjoyed sightseeing at my own pace. The breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. I would love to stay again. Thank you!

    After one year

    Last year, the accommodation was unavailable due to renovation work, but two years ago, we stayed here, and my spouse requested that we visit Gran Bach Select Kyoto this year. We were able to stay this time, and it was indeed wonderful. The breakfast was very delicious, especially the morning cutlet mini burger. At checkout, we told the front desk staff that we would come again next year before heading home. In front of the hotel is a spot where during the Gion Festival Yamaboko Junko procession, a child cuts the Shichigosan rope.

    The breakfast after the renovation was great!

    Before the renovation, I often stayed here alone. Since there was a room that could accommodate three people, I stayed for the first time with my mother and sister. It seems that the large public bath has switched between men and women, and it was a bit disappointing that the bath became smaller, but we avoided crowded times and enjoyed a leisurely bath. What left the biggest impression on me was how great the breakfast was after the renovation. I would want to stay just to have breakfast! It's in a very convenient location, so I think I'll stay again when I'm alone.

    It was good.

    Was it just a good day, or was the hotel not crowded? Previously, at a different hotel, the bath was full, the breakfast venue was crowded, and the manners of many foreigners were poor, so I couldn't relax. This time, I was able to spend my time leisurely. Thank you for upgrading the room. There was also a complimentary alcoholic drink and amenities. I would like to visit this hotel again if I have the chance.

    Satisfaction

    This is about the fourth time since before COVID-19. I used to be interested in various hotels and stayed at them, but now I'm satisfied, so I won't stray (lol). This time, the hotel has been renovated, and there was also alcohol available as a welcome drink, so I took a break with draft beer. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Yasaka Street. The service and the room are impeccable. I haven't used the Onsen yet (exhausted from sightseeing and playing.) Next time, I would like to try the Onsen & mist sauna as well.

    The location is excellent.

    Two subway stops from Kyoto Station. It takes about 5 to 7 minutes from the station, but once you drop off your luggage, it's a perfect location for sightseeing and dining. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. The public bath isn't large, but it's comfortable, and storing luggage after checkout is easy. There's free coffee, allowing you to relax before heading out, making the final packing easy. I will stay here again when visiting the Shijo area.
