    Breakfast was a choi...

    Breakfast was a choice of Japanese, Western, or a Sasebo Burger, plus a buffet as well—very satisfying. I couldn’t eat a Sasebo Burger the day before, so I never expected to be able to have one in the morning!

    Sound of the door closing

    I’m not sure if it was a guest who arrived after midnight at the Hotel, but there were loud door-slamming noises (“bang”) repeatedly—at least 10 times—which was bothersome. It would be helpful to have measures in place so doors close more quietly. The same “bang, bang” noise happened many times again after 7:00 a.m. Other than that, although the property felt a bit dated in places, I had a comfortable stay. The location is excellent—right in front of the station and above the bus terminal.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    Right in front of Sasebo Station, so I was excited as soon as I stepped out. The staff member at reception was probably new, but they explained everything so earnestly and sweetly that I couldn’t help saying, “Good luck!” The Room was clean, and I especially appreciated that the pajamas were a separate top and bottom. We had a concert in Fukuoka and decided to visit Nagasaki as well, and my daughter really wanted to go to Sasebo, so we stayed here. We don’t get to visit Kyushu very often, but if we have the chance again, we would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast was excellent.

    The room was a twin, and it felt neither too small nor too spacious. Since there was no large public bath, the bathroom in the room felt a bit cramped. The service had a sense of professionalism and provided reassurance. Breakfast was particularly enjoyable as it offered not only standard Japanese or Western set meals but also options like Sasebo Burgers and Navy Curry.

    The meals were excellent.

    The breakfast and late-night udon were delicious. The loungewear was also comfortable and very nice. However, the age of the Facility is noticeable. While everything is thoroughly cleaned, there was an unpleasant smell in both the Room and bathroom that I couldn't identify. Additionally, the sofa was old and sunken, and the bed creaked when I got on it, making the overall aging of the Facility stand out. The effort put into breakfast quality and the friendliness of staff are commendable, but due to concerns about the Facility's condition, I don't think I would stay again.

    We were very satisfied with the meals and aromatherapy.

    We stayed for two nights as a couple. On the first day, we checked in around 8:40 PM. We were delighted to find that Goto Udon was available in limited quantities from 9 PM, making it a perfect light evening snack. The broth had a gentle and delicious flavor. Later, we discovered that breakfast was served at the same dining area and decided to add it to our stay. Guests can choose from four options: Japanese-style, Western-style, Navy Curry, or Sasebo-style Burger & Fries. A variety of beverages is also available. We opted for the Western and Japanese breakfasts respectively. At 1,500 yen per person, the high-quality breakfast exceeded our expectations. The pleasant aroma of aromatherapy filled the facility, and the amenities were well-equipped—making us want to return again. Conveniently located next to a bus terminal and close to the station, it’s an excellent base for exploring the area!

    Close to the station with excellent rooms.

    I stayed for one night to take a naval port cruise. Since I had to head to the airport in the afternoon, I was looking for a Hotel near the station with a spacious twin Room for two people, and I found this place. It was exactly what I needed! Although the bathroom was a compact unit type, the Room itself was comfortable. For breakfast, I chose the Japanese set meal, which was very delicious. Salad, drinks, and desserts were available freely. The pudding and sponge cake provided were so good that it didn’t feel like staying at a Business Hotel. The staff were kind and made my stay wonderful.

    Ah

    - Conveniently located in front of the station - The Room is slightly small but sufficient for a single. The air conditioner has three adjustable settings, which is great - Breakfast offers four options, with castella and pudding available buffet-style, which was delightful. Be careful not to overeat

    The Facility is old but it is a good Business Hotel.

    The building and facilities are old but reasonably well-maintained and clean, making it a convenient and good Business Hotel. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast is luxurious. Drinks are self-served, and the COSTA coffee was delicious. Surprisingly, wine and sake were available even at breakfast (though I didn’t see anyone drinking them). The staff at the breakfast venue were efficient, making for an enjoyable dining experience. The parking lot is a contracted multi-story parking facility connected via a 3rd-floor passageway; however, it’s slightly narrow for larger SUV-type vehicles, which may require extra care when parking.

    Used during a business trip.

    The Hotel is quite old, and the unit bath is not very clean. It would be appreciated if renovations could be considered. The staff are very pleasant and full of hospitality.

    A lovely Hotel in front of the station

    After much consideration, I chose this highly-rated Hotel located above the bus terminal near the station and close to the port. It was the right decision. Unfortunately, sightseeing in the area is difficult without a rental car. Also, due to rough waves, I gave up on taking a high-speed ferry from Sasebo to Sotome and Nagasaki. However, since it’s near the station, I was able to leave my luggage until the last minute and take a stroll. The long arcade, JMSDF Sasebo Museum, and Sasebo Port were great spots to visit. Even exploring backstreets was interesting. The Japanese-style breakfast was incredibly delicious with generous portions—absolutely fantastic! The only minor downside is that the bath is small; however, as bathing time is short anyway, it didn’t bother me at all. I’ve fallen in love with Sasebo! Highly recommended Hotel. Thank you very much!

    The facility has a Showa era feel.

    The Facility is old, but it is conveniently located in front of the station. The staff was kind. It is directly connected to the bus terminal, so transportation is very convenient for travelers unfamiliar with Sasebo, and there is no chance of getting lost. However, it is a bit disappointing that it is far from the shopping street, so some planning is needed when going out for meals.

    The hotel is old, but the service was good.

    The hotel is ideal for sightseeing as it is directly connected to the bus center, but the aging of the building is definitely noticeable. There is no smoking area inside the hotel, so if you need to smoke, you can use the bus center while it's open, but there is no smoking area after it closes. The parking lot is located at the back of the hotel and is connected to the hotel on the third floor, with a fee of 1,000 yen. The parking lot feels quite narrow, so caution is needed if you have a larger vehicle. Goto udon is served as a complimentary service at night, and it was very delicious. I wanted to try the breakfast as well, but due to time constraints, I hope to have the chance to try it next time at this hotel.
