    Excellent service.

    I stayed for two nights to attend a concert at Ecopa (one night was booked through another site). Everyone at the front desk was kind and courteous, and I truly appreciated how supportive they were. The late-night noodles, several kinds of ice cream and dairy drinks, and the breakfast were better than I expected. (Even late at night, the staff serving the noodles greeted me with a warm smile and attentive service.) Breakfast was more than sufficient for a Business Hotel—small side dishes, egg dishes, fried shrimp, and fried chicken were all great. I was also surprised by the wide variety of dressings and sauces. Although my Plan did not include breakfast, I ended up adding it on both days. Just one thing: the Room had been renovated and was very clean, but the shower and toilet seemed older, with some mold that couldn’t be fully removed. I think it would be even better if those areas were renovated as well. I had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Perfect for concerts at Ecopa Arena.

    I stayed here for a concert trip to Ecopa Arena. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Kakegawa Station, so it’s a bit of a walk. There are no convenience stores nearby, so I recommend shopping at the Lawson in front of the station beforehand. During concerts, I heard it can be hard to find a taxi at Kakegawa Station, but with the show ending at 20:30, I was back around 21:10 and was able to enjoy the large public bath Onsen by 21:30. The room had some noise at night (plumbing and air conditioning), but I was still able to sleep. The after-bath ice cream and late-night soba were also a nice touch. The vending machines did not accept electronic payments—cash only.

    I stayed here while sightseeing in Kakegawa.

    I stayed for one night while sightseeing in Kakegawa and Shizuoka. I visited Kakegawa Castle, Yokosuka Castle, and Takatenjin Castle. The large public bath on the top floor was nice, though a bit small. The breakfast buffet was tasty, but the selection was slightly limited. The front desk staff always greeted me, which was excellent. Check-in and check-out could be done at a machine and were completed quickly with no waiting time, which was great. Since there are no tall buildings nearby, the location was easy to find.

    The comfort of Dormy.

    This was my third stay at Dormy, but my first time outside of Tokyo. Since there are no nearby convenience stores or restaurants, I truly appreciated the complimentary night ramen and ice cream here. Warm ramen is such a blessing when you're too tired to go out (and it's made with care each time). As I don't drink coffee, the iced Kakegawa tea service was also very much appreciated. The staff were incredibly kind, and check-in/out as well as luggage storage were all handled quickly and efficiently—very satisfying. The only downside was that the room felt old and had a bit of an odor reminiscent of a clubroom. It was manageable with the air conditioning on, though. Still, thank you for giving me a room with a view of Kakegawa Castle—I enjoyed the scenery! During this stay, I managed to use the Onsen at an off-peak time when no one else was there—it felt like having it all to myself and was incredibly relaxing. The open-air bath, cold bath, and sauna were all wonderful; I regret not being able to use them on my second day due to being busy. I will definitely return when visiting Kakegawa again!

    Reliable Dormy Inn

    Thanks to the discounted rate during the Kakegawa Festival when parking was unavailable, I was able to enjoy a relaxing stay at the always reliable and comfortable Dormy Inn. The view of Kakegawa Castle from the Room was excellent, and it was truly quiet and pleasant without the usual bustle of inbound tourists.

    I had some trouble receiving the room key as I was not familiar with how to use the check-in machine. Other than that, the room was spacious and well-cleaned, making my stay very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the Kakegawa tea pudding was especially delightful. I would love to stay again if I have another opportunity. Thank you very much!

    Relaxing hot baths and comfortable bedrooms. The late-night service of soba noodles, ice cream, and Yakult was much appreciated.

    Reliable Dormy Inn Everything is satisfactory. Although it is a bit far from the station, it is acceptable considering the price range. At night, you can enjoy a great view of the illuminated Kakegawa Castle.

    This is the Hotel that made me a fan of Dormy Inn. The atmosphere of the town and the view from the bath are both excellent. The view of Kakegawa Castle and the mountains is beautiful. Although I use it for work, it is perfect for a staycation. I recommend it. However, it gets complicated when it's crowded and I can't make a Reservation. I hope for continued stability in the future.

    First time at Dormy

    I saw it on "Ametalk" and thought I wanted to visit at least once! I took the opportunity to stay this time. The night soba, local breakfast, and ice cream service were great! There were two slightly disappointing points. The open-air bath was pleasant, but there were quite a few stink bugs! Is it because of this location? I don't use the shower room in the room, but the exhaust fan was covered in dust. I guess it's understandable since the cleaning staff can't reach it.
