    The Room was spacious, which was great.

    I had a relaxing two-night stay. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed that on the second day there wasn’t a suitable limousine bus time, so I had to leave without eating breakfast.

    Both the Room and the bathroom were dirty. The desk in the Room was sticky, so I wiped it down again with my own wet wipes. There was dust on everything, including the furniture and the phone. I have short hair, but I found a long hair inside the bedding. In the bathroom, some kind of residue was stuck in places, and there was an unpleasant odor—possibly from the drain—which made me feel sick. This was my second stay; I had no complaints last time, so this was very disappointing.

    Overall, it was a satisfying accommodation.

    Although it was a non-smoking room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. I hesitated to mention it late at night, but when I decided to ask, you kindly arranged another room for me. Thanks to that, I was able to spend my three-night business trip comfortably, and I really appreciated it. Personally, the pajamas (waffle fabric, about 3/4 length) were excellent! [Points for improvement] The closet space next to the entrance is quite dark, making it hard to see clothes and shoes. If you could increase the brightness of the downlight or add an auxiliary light near the hanging rack, it would be easier to notice items like the brown slippers. The location was very convenient—close to the station with great access. Next time I’d like to stay for sightseeing as well. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    The breakfast was delicious.

    My check-in time ended up being about four hours earlier than planned, so I called. The response was automated and said there was no need to contact them as long as it was before midnight. I was impressed that even such a detailed matter could be handled by an automated system. We stayed as a family of three. It was a twin room with an extra bed, but there was still plenty of space and it didn’t feel cramped. There were two sofa chairs and a vanity chair (also serving as an ottoman?), both stylishly upholstered with a nice, upscale feel. After reading Reviews, I was worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but although it shows its age, it was clean and I felt comfortable using it. Many Hotels these days provide bottled water in the room for each guest, but this one does not. There is a free paper-cup drink dispenser in the lobby for guests (coffee, green tea, and cold water), which is appreciated, but having water in the room would still be more convenient. (It did say the tap water in the washroom is drinkable, though...) Amenities are picked up in the lobby style, and they even had sunscreen, sheet masks, bath salts, and hair wax—by far the most well-stocked selection I’ve seen anywhere. Breakfast included local specialties like tare-katsu and Tochio fried tofu skin, and they were delicious. I tried tare-katsu for the first time at dinner the day before and loved it so much that I couldn’t believe I got to have it again right away at breakfast—such a pleasant surprise! The Vietnamese curry at the breakfast buffet was unusual and very tasty. I also really liked “roasted kale,” which I tried for the first time. I understand that staying on the last day of Golden Week may come with lower pricing settings, but with Hotel rates rising these days, this place felt almost too inexpensive—I honestly felt bad paying so little. Close to the station with an adjacent flat parking lot—nothing to complain about. I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Niigata.

    The breakfast is delicious.

    The Room itself is a bit old, but it is well cleaned, and there are plenty of amenities available for pickup in the lobby, so I recommend it. Breakfast was great, especially the rice.

    Perfect Accommodation for Business Trips

    The location is convenient with the station and restaurants nearby. However, the Facility is old, so some people might be bothered by the sound of water pipes. It's sufficient if you're just staying for a business trip to sleep!

    Affordable and satisfactory.

    Stayed for one night as a stopover during my trip. The Facility is old, which is understandable, but the air conditioning barely worked and it was very hot. There’s a dial on the wall for temperature adjustment, but even turning it to the lowest setting didn’t make a difference—maybe it’s just decorative? The cleaning was done thoroughly. All amenities are located in the lobby, so forgetting to grab something can be inconvenient. There’s a complimentary drink vending machine in the lobby offering welcome drinks; everything except water was hot though! Room wear is available near the elevator on each guest floor, but there seems to be only one size? Maybe you can ask if you need another size. For smokers, there’s a smoking room in the 1st-floor lobby, which is convenient. If you're looking for an affordable stay and don’t mind small inconveniences, this place might work for you!

    Generally satisfied.

    I stayed in a Hollywood Twin Room. The room itself was spacious enough and comfortable for relaxation. However, I noticed some hair near the trash bin in the bathroom corner before use, and there were black spots that seemed like dirt or trash, which made it feel less than perfectly clean. Breakfast was a typical buffet style with a wide variety of options, which was great. This is just my personal opinion and not necessarily good or bad, but I had high expectations for the Niigata Koshihikari rice; unfortunately, it felt slightly hard to me and left me a bit disappointed. The lobby area was spacious with plenty of amenities available. The lounge offered complimentary coffee and other beverages, making it very relaxing to spend time there. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay—thank you!

    Conveniently located near Niigata Station, providing a comfortable stay.

    We stayed as a couple. The accommodation had a slightly old feel, but it was clean and well-maintained, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. There were no power outlets near the bedside; although there was a USB port, there was no Type-C port available, and the limited number of outlets was a downside. It would have been helpful if we were informed during check-in that the room number and hotel floor did not match. Our room number started with 3〇〇〇, so we went to the 3rd floor only to find out it was incorrect. Upon checking the room key, we realized it indicated the 12th floor. Additionally, the parking space width was narrow, which is another negative point for us.

    I had a very comfortable stay.

    I stayed for one night during a business trip to Niigata. After finishing work and checking in from Tokyo to Niigata, I was first surprised by the extensive free amenities. In addition to lotion, there were face masks, hair masks, and bath additives, allowing me to fully relax from bathing until bedtime. The firmness of the bed was just right for me; as soon as I lay down, I felt comfortable and fell asleep immediately. As someone with little experience on business trips and not accustomed to staying at hotels, this Hotel impressed me greatly with its price and overall experience. The breakfast was also very delicious—I wish I had more time to savor it thoroughly. If I have another business trip to Niigata in the future, I will definitely choose this Hotel again.     I booked a 2-night stay, choosing the Sotetsu Hotel Group for a reliable and comfortable accommodation experience. On the morning of the second day, I washed and left my reusable Starbucks tumbler to dry before going out. However, when I returned at night, it was gone. After calling the front desk to check, I was informed that it had been thrown away. There was no proper compensation offered—only a simple apology—and despite being discarded, it was returned without cleaning. As this item held sentimental value from an overseas purchase, I felt deeply shocked and upset. This experience has made me decide never to stay here again.

    I understand the need to cut costs, but I would appreciate it if at least bottled water could be provided in the room or at the front desk as a service. If the tap water in the bathroom is meant to be used for drinking, please indicate that along with its safety. I was surprised by the cold toilet seat. There didn't seem to be a switch to warm the seat anywhere. The washlet provided warm water, which made it even more disappointing. The seal around the bathroom unit door was moldy. It would be nice if the customer service was a bit more cheerful. I was concerned that there was not much eye contact.

    The hotel offers good value for money, but the room cleaning is a bit concerning.

    I made a Reservation because it was conveniently located near the station, had good access to restaurants, and had parking available on-site, all at a reasonable price. The cost performance and breakfast content were also satisfactory. However, it was very disappointing that the Room cleaning was not sufficient. Dust had accumulated on the bottom of the shelf where the refrigerator was stored and on the bed headboard. Additionally, although an air purifier was installed in the Room, it was also slightly covered with dust, so I did not feel like using it. I thought it was unfair to make a one-sided point in a Review, so I alerted the front desk staff with photos at checkout. Since I have directly presented it to the Hotel staff, I would like to refrain from uploading such images to the Review this time. If it is a Hotel or seems to be a SOTETSU group Hotel, I can provide the images upon request.
