  Excellent breakfast.

  We stayed here while visiting to celebrate our second son’s wife’s birthday. The location was convenient, with easy access and close to where we had dinner. Best of all was the breakfast buffet—especially the sea bream rice. Matsuyama Castle is also nearby, making it a great area for running. We would love to stay again next time.

  Some staff members had a poor attitude.

  I arrived around 12:00 and asked the staff to store my luggage. When I told them I would be back between 15:00 and 17:00, they made me specify an exact time. Since it depended on sightseeing, it was stressful to have to decide a precise time. Also, for some reason I was not allowed to check in unless I showed the APA app. There was no mention of this in the Plan, so it should not have been mandatory, but I was made to go through a troublesome membership registration. As I was already tired from sightseeing, it left me feeling disappointed. The staff member who assisted me also came across as somewhat overbearing and unpleasant. The Room matched the Plan, but there was no view. It was also on the second floor facing a main road, so I was woken up several times at night by extremely loud motorcycles and cars. Considering the location, service, environment, and Room quality overall, it felt quite overpriced.

We sincerely apologize for the significant discomfort and inconvenience caused during your stay due to our staff’s service and noise in your Room. Regarding luggage storage, we are truly sorry that we asked you to specify a detailed return time without considering your sightseeing schedule, causing you unnecessary burden. We also deeply apologize that, at check-in, our staff requested presentation of the APA app and pressured you to register for membership even though it is not required, and furthermore made you feel uncomfortable with an overbearing attitude. We take this matter very seriously. As those who should help relieve your travel fatigue, we regret that we responded in this way, and we will thoroughly retrain all staff on hospitality and customer service manners to ensure improvement. As for the Room, because it faced the main street on the 2nd floor, we are very sorry that nighttime motorcycle and car noise disturbed your rest. While our Hotel is ideally located as a base for sightseeing, as you pointed out, there may be some inconvenience due to noise. For your next stay, if you let us know in advance, we will do our best to arrange a quieter Room or one on a higher floor whenever possible—please feel free to contact us. We sincerely accept that we did not meet your expectations in your overall evaluation and made you feel it was overpriced.   Everything was good except for the bed firmness!

  I prefer firm beds, so the softness that caused my back to sink was not ideal, but I was satisfied with the price, breakfast, and amenities of the accommodation.

  Twin Smoking Room

  Smoking Room with a View of Matsuyama Castle! High Floor!! Conveniently located near a supermarket and convenience store, it was excellent.

  I was able to relax and take it easy.

  It seems to be limited in quantity, but it's wonderful to be able to eat "Tai-meshi". It would be nice if the restaurant had a few more seats.
